Terrible, terrible customer service. The middle-aged male employee was clearly miffed that I had interrupted his attempt to flirt with the young woman selling light-up school poster add-ons simply to ask him to do something so distasteful as the job for which he was being paid. I described the product I drove clear across the city to buy and noted that I had not found it on the shelf where I was accustomed to finding it. He guffawed a bit, and laughingly said that well, gee, they must not have any right now. I re-phrased the question, giving him another chance to help, this time noting that the shelves had been re-arranged since I shopped there last, and I was not able to find it on the shelves. He laughed again, and, without bothering to try to help me find the products new location, essentially told me that if the product wasnt there, it wasnt there. Tired of being laughed at by employees, I returned to the shelves the other items I was going to buy, and promptly left. I went to a fantastic little small-business yarn shop on South Street and spent my money there. AC Moore does not carry products of any particular rarity or notable quality, and I can and will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. The convenience of buying an item in a brick-and-mortar store is negated by terrible customer service, and I can very easily buy products online or at my local Michaels instead.

They have everything I need. Its a little expensive. Most of the people that work there know what theyre talking about. The issue is, theres not enough people working there which is why customer service is so horrible. Last time I was there, only one girl was helping customers. She was super busy, so it took 20 minutes to get help. They need more employees to make this a better experience.

This store has the most incompetent employees Ive ever encountered. Even if you come in the middle of the day on a weekday the lines will still be crazy because nobody here has any idea how to use the registers. If there were any Other general craft store in the area I would never come here because it is simply impossible to get in and out quickly due to the poorly trained employees.

Despite having a dozen employees walking around the store and at least half of them saying hello as they walked by me none of them offered to help me out. Wtf is the point of paying people that look away from your customers like theyre just trying to make it through the day with the least amount of work they can do.
