My wife went in to see about getting her 8 month old phone replaced after it fell in a toilet with the insurance that we have on it. She was talked into 3 new phones at the tune of $2300. I didnt want it and was told a 40% restocking fee for returning the 2 unused and unactivated phones that she came home with for myself and my son. I know she agreed to it and that is her fault. But the salesperson was very persistent and presuriing. Good customer service would have been to help her get her phone replaced under the warranty /insurancethat we have been paying for and not pushing new phones on her. Second thing is he talked her into almost$400 in accessories cases extra batteries and $70 in screen protectors with lifetime replacement warranty. He must have seen the big S on her forehead for sucker!!! What they didnt tell her is you have to pay $5 for each replacement. Now my wifes phone is on her 3rd protector since October mine is waiting for its 2nd that has been on order since Nov. The store told us after 14 days we have to deal with zagg which is the screen protector company. I found out that was not true through the Verizon 800 customer service. For the first year you can get it replaced at any Corp owned Verizon store. Needless to say this tells me they dont want to take care of the customer at the store all they want to do is sell!! Sell!! Sell to make their commission checks bigger!!! We have been with Verizon for almost 20 years and with this Im switching companies now. Hopefully this review helps further people from being taken advantage of and coaxed into stuff they dont need!!!

Unfortunately this location is the closest Verizon Store to me aside from authorized retailers. I have been a customer with Verizon for a very long time and I constantly have issues. It is most common to have sales representatives offer loads of seemingly useful information, only to be contradicted by other sales representatives or evidenced in my bill. The ONLY reason I continue to stay with Verizon is their online customer service. If it were only available through this specific store, I would have switched contracts years ago. My experience with every staff member has been unhelpful and invalid. Its incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The only information they have to offer is repeating what is already available online. Youre far better off saving money and time by purchasing online.

Went in twice in one day. The first time we were told the wait would be over 30 minutes yet there were sales associates standing around doing nothing. The second time we went and we were told we were next in line and after the sales reps completely disappear from the floor one emerged to help somebody else therefore we were not next in line. When we called to figure out if there would be anyoneavailable to help us in the near future we were hung up on. We ended up calling Verizon wireless and not only did they help us but gave us an amazing deal. I will never go back to the store from now on I will always call Verizon.

Being retired and experiencing questions, we we rudely told that anything not related to the hard drive, we need to "find someone else" to answer our questions. This from a ride female employee. Before this episode the men were patient and helpful in explaining things to us. Monitor your employees women. By the way, I am female, too so dont put me down as predjudiced against females. Why hire people with no people skills? And you expect ME to come buy my NEXT phone there at Wayne Avenue,?????

They would try and sell you back your phone if possible. I do admit nice people. But if I am coming to upgrade my phone or change something on my account I do not need to be haggled into buying extra stuff that I do not need. Please dont fall for them saying you need this $80 case to protect your phone and a $40 screen protector. You can buy a lifeproof or otterbox in walmart for $60 that does everything.

The staff, Julie Ann, was excellent, helpful, informative, knowledgeable & never made me feel like the non-techknowledgable individual that I am. & even the General Manager, Randy, was of personal assistance with a problem I was having & included some basic ease of use information.

HORRIBLE Customer Service. Just wanted to know if they had a specific screen protector in stock. Person at the door would not check, had to wait almost a whole hour to be told they did not have it in stock. Staff just standing around joking and doing nothing AVOID THIS VERIZON STORE!
