Called at 7:30 am and asked to be transferred to Sporting Goods (wanted to check stock on .22 ammunition since its almost impossible to find these days). I was transferred and after 3 minutes of listening to nothing but the phone ringing my call was dropped. Called back to the main number, waited 3 minutes, no answer and my call was dropped. Apparently 3 minutes is their "magic number" when they just drop your call. So I call back and actually get through to the operator, right before the 3 minute mark. This time the operator paged Sporting Goods but no one was available. The operator transfers me to Electronics where I explain to the person answering my call why I was transferred to her department and can she either check stock for me or find a Sporting Goods associate who could? She was nice and after about 5 minutes came back on the line and told me that she didnt see any .22 ammunition on the shelf but they hadnt got around to stocking the items that were under lock & key yet. I asked her when would that happen? Uh, I dont know she said, theres really no one to ask who knows! What a run around for nothing. Ill drive 5 miles farther and go to Cabelas where they can actually answer a phone and give you an intelligent answer. Typical Wally-Mart. You get what you pay for and since they dont pay their employees this about what to expect from them.

While this Walmart is very conveniently located and has a little lower prices than other stores in the area I usually find it hard to shop here, and find myself going to other stores. Weve been shopping here since they opened and noticed some of the food we regularly purchase is often out of stock. Additionally, while they have self checkout it often gets full because of a seeming lack of employees to checkout (its usually not easy to find someone to help you). Thirdly their products expirations dates usually are a little closer (or in some cases past, weve accidentally boughten expired food multiple times here) the expiration date. In short, if you want to save money, definitely head here; but be prepared to have to head to another store, wait for a while and double check your expiration dates.

Par for the course for a Walmart. Customer service and product selection are what youd expect. Its open until 1am, like most full Walmarts in the area. Its really nothing special. Theres no real reason to stop in other than it is conveniently located. However, there is one major problem with this location: There is only one set of bathrooms. The ones in front are it. None in back, and no family restroom. So, if youre shopping with young children, a stroller, etc. Youre out of luck. If they closed them for cleaning, again thats it. Out of luck. Their solution was to send me across the street to the restaurant or make us wait. Head down the road to the Tigard Walmart, they have 2 sets of restrooms (and a family restroom). Or across the street to Target, for the same reason.

I have traveled all over the United States with my husbands job so I have shopped at every Walmart in each of the cities we stay in (and the surrounding area) and I have to say as far as cleanliness (especially the ladies restroom) and the customer service here...is TOP NOTCH! Even though they did not have one particular item I wanted, Im sure if I was staying in this area they would try and accommodate my need. *This is one thing that customers need to realize, Walmart stocks for the the geographical area but will do their best to bring in a product if you request it.* I really wish all the Walmarts would be like this one (PLUS CUSTOMERS NEED TO RESPECT THE STORE TOO) and they wouldnt have such a bad reputation.

I feel terrible living next to such an abomination. Never in my life have I been treated so badly. All the staff congregates in groups and never asks customers how they are doing. I circled for a long time looking for the Item I needed and never got asked once how am I doing. I wish management was stricter in that department. The biggest problem isnt that either. The biggest problem is knowing the store layout. I went to 7 different employees and not one knew what I was looking for. That led to more circling. They should have just left the field there instead of building this store. The dirt there was more useful than the customer service at that store. F----

Worst customer service. I only shop here for convenience, thats it. If there was another option with similar prices I would go there instead. Most of the employees look for ways to avoid helping customers in my experience. Also, we once caught two guys shoplifting, told an employee, and even got them on camera, but the manager didnt care enough to call the police. Some of Walmarts items are well priced but others are as much as 50% more than I would pay at WINCO. I just dont have much of anything good to say about this Walmart.

This is a good size Walmart. Exactly what you expect from such stores, items are cheap and quality mostly on the low side. Avoiding calling the store during busy hours because you will be frustrated with going in loops because people at the department you need to talk to are busy and do not answer the phone. Average call will rout you through 3 to 5 people (15 min to 20 min) before you get a check on an item. What is sad is even after you find that they have what you need, they are not willing to put it on hold.

I am not usually a fan of Walmart but this one is my favorite. The people are nice, I usually find what I need and if I dont then I go somewhere else. No big. But if I have to go to a Walmart I come to Sherwood. Also I like the plus size womens selection of clothes. The quality is about the same as lane Bryant is these days at about a third of the price. ☺ And if youre a loser who has to send a money gram because you cant get a bank account then thats not Walmarts fault.

Thank god there is finally somewhere reasonable to shop in Sherwood! All the people that were against Walmart opening are IDIOTS! Walmart has caused absolutely no problems within the city. Traffic has only improved since they opened. Finally, all the other stores in town arent raping people so badly on prices. Why are Target and Safeway even still open? I guess people are still stupid enough to shop there and pay more for the same thing...

Sending a Money Gram is the dumbest system. Fill out a form so they can send you junk mail. Chevron on Tualatin and Sherwood Rd so easy. This is because Chevron uses the money gram system. Once you are in the system ready to send. I WAS AGAINST WALMART COMING HERE AND THEIR CHEAP CHINESE PRODUCTS. FIND A DESK OR GREEN JOB RIGHT! WALMART AND OTHER SUPER STORES ARE RUINING JOBS. WHAT DOES AMERICA MAKE ANYMORE?

checking out is not bad wish they would pull more employees up to check when lines get 3 to 4 customers deep. store always has items on shelves. Could do a better job at pricing items many times you dont know the price. option install more price check scanners for customers and clearly mark the location
