For a place that is run on donated items they receive this is one of the most overpriced places ive ever been! Most things you find there would cost LESS NEW! They jad a OLD DONATED tv for sale for $300!!! It was FREE to them... ITS OLD... it would be in a pawn shop for like 30 if they even put it out on the floor. This place is also full of snotty signs everywhere warning people if a tag or sticker is missing or looks tampered with that you will NOT BE ALLOWED TO BUY THE "DONATED" ITEM.... that they got for FREE! Bad vibes about this place. Also was 3 signs in the changing room with big letters that they will prosecute shop lifters! They are judging their customers. Donated dresses run at about $20... Same price they are NEW. Will not be coming back to this location until they make it kore welcoming. You also constantly have to argue with the cashiers because things will have 2 stickers and they apparently are supposed to charge for the higher price etc.

I am extremely upset about my visit to the Olympia store. They are remodeling and dont have public restrooms. Its not posted anywhere that no one can use the restroom. We drove 30 minutes to this store and my 11 year old son had a bathroom emergency and they wouldnt let him use the employee bathrooms. I had to walk 6 stores down to a different store which also had no public restroom but escorted him back since it was an emergency. I spoke to a manager who could have cared less about saying he had to have a medical problem for him to use the employee restroom. I wont shop here again. This is beyond ridiculous and Im very upset this is allowed. A child having a bathroom emergency should be allowed and them not caring is ridiculous.

I had a bad day at west side goodwill..the bottom rack should be taller or sturdier.. As I pulled one large picture to me ..the rest fell on my R foot..leading in a huge booze and then shooting pain up my leg.. and then proceeded to tell the people in front of store at cashier what had happened and asked if they would please take a suggestion of raising the Shelf bottom so it would not let photos fall on peoples feet.. he says oh.. I was like so will you let them know ..he said it dose not matter any way it will not make a difference what we suggest ..because Goodwill will not listen to him any way...my name is: Connie and I support my local Goodwill.. So I hope goodwill will support me in changing this dangerous Shelf ..

Visited here today for the first time. As an avid Goodwill shopper, I must say that this establishment is one of the better ones. Lots of selection, displays which were very appealing to look at and showcase the items they had for sale, great layout. As for the "smell" that the other reviews were talking about, I didnt notice any smell. If there was one, it was probably the typical thrift store smell, which Ive grown quite accustomed to. Overall I had a great experience and will happily be shopping here in the future.

This Goowill is updated and sorted pretty well. They have a lot of good stuff, and with some digging you can probably find some good treasures. It being so large youll likely spend a lot of time here; the downfall, there is no restroom. Wait, what? No restroom and Im in here for up to a couple hours? So I had to leave, and that was a bummer. Probably could have gotten a few more bux out of me had there been the opportunity to relieve myself. Only 3 stars for that reason.

Do you consider JCPenneys to be a non-profit because they pay their employees a wage and provide jobs to disadvantaged or mentally challenged people? Thats why Goodwill is considered a non-profit because they provide jobs. Do your research and see how much money the CEO puts in his pockets with all of the merchandise donated therefore 100% profit. One of the biggest scams in the nation and yet IRS gives them non-profit status

Sometimes the options here are fantastic, you can get hundred dollar pieces of clothing for $10. And Ive even gotten a cat tree here that was in pretty good shape, and it was cheap! You get great deals here, and I havent had to bring anything back. If youre looking for something and you need it cheap, this is a good place to try looking.

Ive purchased a number of good quality used clothes for my 3 kids. Shorts, jeans, shirts. Good name brand stuff from Childrens Place, Old Navy, Gap, Target, etc. Things are usually pretty well organized by gender and size, but you will find the odd out of place item. Seems a small price to pay for $2 to $4 jeans.

I would give this store a 0 to be honest. Dangerous and rude trolls like to hang out here to attack people for fun. Management wont help or protect you. The prices are to high for used items. Its dirty and smells bad as well. Definitely need to be aware of your surroundings when shopping at this goodwill!

Getting remodeled, prices are decent most of the time however meth tweekers are always hanging around outside the store sometimes inside, we witnessed an overdose right in front of the store two months ago, not a safe feeling place to bring children, try the one in Shelton or lacey instead.

None of the merchandise is organized. The sizes are all mixed together, which makes browsing impossible. Same with linens also. So its basically a huge pile of the things - possibly some cool things - if you feel like spending most of your time sorting through rubbish. Bummer.

Was a great store to shop at until they did a remodel. Who ever came up with the new floor plan should be fired! It now has a less of a selection then it previously did. There are other Goodwill stores in Olympia. I would shop them before this location.

Great prices and clean store. Its a little cluttered, but Id rather have a cluttered store with plentiful items than an empty and pristinely organized store. Your experience will be extraordinarily average and youll save money. Cant complain.

Theres definitely a smell to this place, but they have a huge variety of old and older clothes and materials you cannot find elsewhere. I have snatched up numerous things in the past from this Goodwill that I still use today! ;-)

This Goodwill is very large and has a lot of options, however it is overpriced compared to other Goodwills I have visited and is often picked over. It is a Goodwill, so the experience and the selection can be varied.

I find truly great deals here. I have bought plenty of good quality cheap furniture, clothing, kitchen ware, holiday decor, books, jewelry. I dont like how dirty and unorganized the store is a lot of the time though.

Very well maintained and prices are reasonable. Theres always a coupon to use with purchases, just asking a cashier and theyll walk you through. Enjoy the customer service at the location compared to others.

Ive given up on this Goodwill. Every time I try to drop off donations, theyre understaffed and tediously slow. There was a line of 10 cars today. Im going to find another local charity to which to donate.
