I recently purchased a Stereo Receiver and Subwoofer from this Goodwill. Before purchasing I asked the attendant at the register what the return policy was in case the equipment was defective. She replied that within 2 weeks I could return the items with the receipt and price stickers on them and I would get a full refund to my card, if it was within 30 days it would be a store credit. Knowing that I was taking a risk purchasing stereo equipment at Goodwill I felt that I was covered by the policy I was told. Well I went home and tested the equipment and shocker, both items were broken. I returned to the store to return the items and the attendant politely told me that I could only receive a store credit. I explained that I was told differently when I purchased the items and had I been correctly informed by the Goodwill employee I would have never bought the items. She was kind and called the supervisor to the front to speak with me. This is where things got worse. I explained the situation to the supervisor and she decided that smurking and telling me that their policy was to give back store credit would fix the situation. She gave no apology and assumed that I was wrong and had heard incorrectly. She did not apologize nor acknowledge any remorse for her employees mix up nor did she try to mend the situation at all. She continued to end the conversation from there and gave the previous attendant gave me store credit. Needless to say I was frustrated. I have no need for $80 in store credit that must be used in 30 days. This policy was incorrectly given and the lack of customer service and empathy given the situation was offensive. Avoid this goodwill if you value service where you spend your money. On a side note. They are in a somewhat nicer area of town and often have outrageous prices on their items that are in line with brand new retail prices. I have never received proper service and have been especially disappointed when I have any need as a customer outside of just ringing up.

I realize that Goodwill does good things to employ people and needs profits to grow but to what extent? Recently the prices of many products have gone beyond even retail pricing and this just shows a bit of greed in my opinion. After all they do get those items for free! Articles of clothing can be found at Ross for less. Pentium 3 computers are not worth $175! The customer return policy is the most unfriendly retail policy I have seen. 2 weeks, in store credit only which expires in 30 days and AT the same store? If they more effectively priced their goods with some competent people. (raise some prices on some things but bring the prices on others) they will spend less time and money shuffling goods from one store to another or to the wholesale outlet aka "the bins" that do not sell due to bad pricing.

Ive been com here since I was young. I move away then came back to shop because I love it. As I was checking out I hear one of the cashiers near by say shes going to Maine. In an effort to make small talk just to be nice and pleasant, I say "did you say Maine?" She put her hand in my face and said "yeah but you dont know." And walked off before I could say "I actually spent a lot of time in Portland, Maine and loved it." Super rude and definitely not true to the name "goodwill." This location used to be super friendly and a good place to shop but Ill probably never come back because that employee is clearly on a pseudo-pedestal.

I used to find great deals there but lately its really a waste of time. I think theyre getting better at skimming the good stuff off and posting it online. You can go to their website and buy some really nice things theyve been given for free at market prices. Goodwill promote themselves as a charity but considering what the administrative people make its simply just a business that doesnt pay dividends.

Staff is friendly. Prices are OUTRAGEOUS!!! This is the FIRST goodwill EVER that Ive seen anything over $75. Ive seen multiple loveseats in mediocre condition with $150+ pricetags. Try craigslist first, then if you want to get robbed: visit this for-profit company that doesnt pay their workers enough and doesnt donate as much as they should to goodwill.

This place is always busy, so expect a crowd. That said, there are always new things in the appropriate sections, the store is generally well organized and the staff are all polite. Item turnover is fairly rapid so frequent visits will turn up a pleasing number of unique finds. All the usual stapes of goodwill goodness are present and well stocked.

Overpriced and RUDE employee! Got to the register with my item and the employee at the counter told me that it actually costs $10 more than what the tag said, which was already way too high! Horrible customer service and too expensive. People are giving you their trash to sell, remember that. These arent new items.

A great place to find things that rich people no longer want. Prices seem to just get worse and worse at Goodwill but sometimes you find that rare treasure that they obviously dont know the value of. I guess thats the charm of this place.

Love this place. Its in a good area so a lot of great stuff gets donated here. I look here first before going to full retail.. teaching my kids to do the same so when they are on their own they are smart about there $$.

Goodwill is owned by a man who gives himself a million dollar plus salary per year. Ill still shop here, but I never donate. Th amount of goodwill he spreads around is miniscule compared to the amount he gives himself.

This is my favorite Goodwill. Its always clean and full of treasures. If you keep your eyes open for pink tags, you can even score brand new makeup, diapers, and toys from unsold Target clearance items.

Pretty good for a Goodwill. Pretty packed, but typically very nice stuff. Nowhere near the bargains that used to be, and many items priced like new "list price".

Prices at all Goodwill stores are much higher than they used to be. You can get new items on sale at retail stores for about the same sometimes.

Where are the rich suburbanites dump their barely used stuff on their way to work. Over the years Ive found some great things at this location.

Well organized and competitive prices, compared to other Goodwill in the area. Fun to go often and find new treasures.

Difficult to get to, big down side is its location. This store though gets the good stuff and is well kept and huge.
