This is an overdue review of a fantastic bike shop! Whether you have a bike from a big box store or a high end road bike, they know how to repair it. We were on a family vacation from Seattle and a well-known Seattle bike shop couldnt repair some things on my new bike that I had ordered online. I took it into the Prom Bike Shop and they fixed EVERYTHING quickly and cheaply. They fixed a bunch of small stuff on the bikes for the rest of my family and did a few upgrades. While we were in the shop, some bicyclists who were on a long road trip came in and needed some highly technical repairs on an older performance bike. The Prom Bike Shop knew exactly how to do the repairs and had the necessary equipment on hand. The prices for gear in their retail shop are great, too! I only wish I had such a great, honest bike shop near where I live in Seattle!

This shop is exactly what a bike shop should be. After buying a few items that we forgot at home (vacation trip) and heading back out, I started having issues with my bike (not related to the store - user error), so we limped back and explained the issue to them. The mechanic knew exactly what I was talking about and knew exactly how to fix it. I was so pleased with my first experience that I didnt even ask what the repair would cost. I knew that Id be treated fairly. Would you do this at an auto mechanic?!? The repair was done perfectly, and they charged about 1/2 of what I would have expected.

Great customer service. Everything you would expect from a family owned business. The staff goes out of their way to get to know there patrons. As far products available they offer a wide selection of bikes and all the assesories to go with. I also noticed a hobby area with a variety of car models and train parts. I had visited other shops looking for a beach cruiser and recieved horrible customer service. As soon as i walked into Prom Bike I was greeted and helped right away (unlike the other store). Im very glad i purchased my cruiser from them.

I was traveling thru town and needed to take care of some repairs to my back sprocket and chain. My experience at Prom Bike Shop was positive. While they were very courteous, took the time to explain exactly what was wrong with my bike and fixed it for a resonable price their workmanship was just OK. If I were in the area, I would use them again, but wouldnt go out of my way to get my bike fixed there.

I brought my cheap walmart bicycle in on a weekend with a flat tire. They replaced the inner tube lickety split right then and there. It was super cheap and the customer service was outstanding! I highly recommend them. They also have tons of wheeled things to rent, from strollers to bikes and big carriages.
