As a commuter cyclist my bike NEEDS to work every day, 100 miles a week and 5,000 miles a year. So when I snapped my rear derailleur (shift) cable it was an emergency in my world. The Spesh store where I bought my Allez, sadly, had closed. Ive heard talk on the street of a high quality bike shop in Avondale. The bike, stuck in top gear, limped its way to the Trek Store first thing Sunday morning. Never having been a customer before and riding another brand bike, I was at their mercy. I didnt even have an appointment. I was stressed out! After calming me down-LOL! They instantly started working and soon found it to be quite complicated. The frayed cable end was stuck inside the shifter/brake lever and also jammed itself deep inside the mechanism. At several moments the entire team was working on and consulting about it. I reminded them I only have $100 on me so not to go over that and I dont have enough for a new $250 shifter either. They put well over an hour (maybe two) into it with several techs involved. Yes, they were able to fix it saving the shifter. Two cables were also replaced. All is working great again! I figured they would take my full $100 since it took hours of labor time from multiple techs plus cables, housings, yada yada yada. I was shocked that they only charged the standard cable replacement fee. I said its not even fair- for them! They said keeping me on the road is all they care about. I gave a tip and soon after came back to put a deposit on one of those fancy carbon bikes. With service like this- Ill be sticking around for the long haul. Its all about the bike. Thank you Trek Store!

I purchased 2 Trek D-series mountain bikes plus accessories Now, granted, I purchased them in Oklahoma from an AWESOME shop. These guys went out of their way to create a hybrid mountain/street bike. What I truly loved was that he told me that Corporate Trek owned retailers would honor the lifetime service warranty that I received._______________________________________________________________ I contacted this store and they were extremely rude, while I understand that I did not purchase my bikes here, they were haughty with ridiculing tones in their voices, as I spoke to more than one person. All I asked for was an inspection and perhaps if I needed it, a tune-up. they told me that the inspection they would charge me for and the tune up would be over 50.00. Not even looking at my bike as all parts were fine, tires fine, no cracks, I know that I only needed a slight adjustment in my gears, which I could do myself, but thought to gain rapport with this new shop. Boy was I wrong, I personally would prefer to order a bike or any accessories online and do it myself, than to deal with these snobbish over-inflated egos.

My husband and I recently moved to Verrado and I heard that there was a mountain bike trail in town, so I wanted to give it a try. It had been awhile since I biked last, but I found the trail to be quite fun. That is, until I got a flat tube toward the end of my ride. I, of course, had gone out completely unprepared and had not brought a tube with me. I began walking my bike back when another rider rode up from behind me. He asked if I needed help and got off his bike when I said I got a flat. He took one of his spare tubes and pump and quickly fixed my flat for me. He wouldnt accept payment, even though I offered numerous times. What a gentleman! A few weeks later, my husband and I were in Avondale and visited the Trek Shop. To my surprise, that kind gentleman was actually one of the owners of the store! I want to thank Brian and the rest of the employees at Trek for being so generous and kind. They went out of their way to help me when I was in need, and that makes it easy to support this local business!

I got a flat about a half mile from the store and didnt have a spare on me or my wallet for that matter. I found this store on my cell phone and was happy I wouldnt have to walk a few miles home. I got there at 10:45 (15 mins before opening) and was promptly greeted with the sales guys ducking into the backroom acting like they didnt see me in distress. 5 mins later the guy peeks his head out from the back, hesitates, then decides to come to the door to tell me theyre are closed. I asked if I could leave my bike so I could run home to get my wallet. He said "sure, when we open in 20 mins", I said, "I guess Ill go somewhere else then". And that was pretty much my experience. Oh, and then I took 3 of my bikes to the store at 99th and McDowell for tune ups and upgrades. Theyve always been good to me.

I had a wonderful experience getting my new mountain bike this month at this store. I am 70 years old and the staff made me feel young again. They made me feel very comfortable. I got the Marlin 5 Trek bike. And a new helmet and gloves. I got out and started riding the first day. During the second day of riding I noticed a loud clicking noise in the crank shaft. I took the bike back to the store and the guys jumped right on it finding the crank to be a little dry from the factory. They corrected the problem and apologized over and over for me having to bring it back. They even helped me by providing some straps that I needed to ensure my bike would stay on my older bike rack. What great service. I would recommend this store too anyone serious in getting a good bike.

The employees were very efficient and friendly; I was greeted with a smile within moments of entering the store. Although it was obvious I didnt know much (ok - next to nothing) about bicycle repair I didnt feel as though I was pressured or misinformed about the cost or necessary parts needed for the two fix up projects that I brought into the store. I explained that I had just picked them up and was looking to make sure they were simply safe and in working condition. They got to work right away looking at the bikes and explained what my options were in simple terms so that I was able to make an informed decision for the services I needed. Very satisfied with this business!

Normally I would never take the time to write a review but these guys are awesome! I live in downtown Phoenix and work in the West Valley and although I have 5-6 bike shops near me I choose to take my Bikes here. These guys are always welcoming and go above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience . when you go into the shop. These guys sell awesome bikes, from entry level to the professional and although I dont own a Trek, theyve never turned their noses up at me when I come in. So wether youre purchasing a bike or just need the bike you have worked on, go check them out. You will NOT be disappointed!!!!
