I really wanted a cheesecake for my wedding cake, and these people did it for me. We went in and tried 6 kinds, and decided that apple was the best for us, but Marrion berry was very good. The cake looked great with little apples on it. They were able to handle the request that it be gluten free for my new mother-in-law, and they delivering it 2 hours from Portland for me. People talk about that cake all the time, because it was so good and it was unique because it wasnt just another cake. We went back there for our one year anniversary, and they did up another normal size cake for us, also in apple. Since Dad paid for the wedding cake, their paperwork was under my maiden name, so they did mess up hearing what my new name was, but that did not impede getting the cake, which was just as good as the first one!

My husband and I did not want a typical "cakey" cake for our wedding. I heard of Portland Style Cheesecakes at the Bravo wedding show so we booked a tasting with them. Kim and her decorator gave us wonderful personal attention. The cake turned out perfectly in appearance and taste! On top of that, they drove it all the way out past Dundee for us! (No other typical wedding cake places would do that). We could not have been happier! My only regret is that I did not have someone hide a slice of the chocolate raspberry for me before it was all gone. Other layers were Italian Blackberry and Lemon Blueberry. The cake was elegant and delicious!! All of our guests were raving about. Thanks Kim and PS Cheesecake team!

The coconut dream cake is my favorite. I had three of them in one week! The cakes are great, reasonably priced, and the owner is so kind. She told me her business started at her own house 27 years ago as she raised her 5 kids. I admire her passion about her business. Unlike Cheesecake Factory, which is overpriced and oily at the end, Portland style cheesecake is really delicious!!! My sister hates cheesecake, but she will eat Portland style cheesecake. I totally support an authentic local female entrepreneur!!!

I was a groomsmen at the wedding and when I saw the look on my brothers face when the cake came out for the to cut, all i could see was shock on their face. He tried to keep his composure cause of his wife next to him. I find it that when on your wedding day that something isnt right than somebody is to blame. The cake was still good but when it isnt right the first time than somebody should make it right. My rating is a 2 out of 5

My mother and I have called several times and nobody has ever answered the phone. We have left messages an sent emails asking to speak with someone, hoping this business would be able to do my wedding cheesecake. After emails, several calls, and voice messages, nobody has ever called us back. It has been very difficult trying to find someone who does wedding cheesecakes.

If/When you get the chance to swing in, you will not walk away disappointed and your taste buds will love you that much more for trying these desserts at least once.

Stopped by today and picked up a bunch of the little cheesecakes to try. The selection and flavors were great, the staff was super friendly and patient with us while we made our choices. So far Ive only had the Marionberry cheesecake, but if the others are half as good as that one, theyll be heavenly. We will definitely be back!

Best cheesecake Ive had in my life! You cant beat the amazing flavor of their Italian Blackberry cheesecake. Ive visited Portland twice and have had these cheesecakes four times now. Cant recommend them enough.
