If you thought Vietnamese dessert, che, consisted of just three colors, you havent tried Bambu! It has opened my mind to the world of vietnamese desserts. They have over a dozen different kinds of che to try. They pack so much into the cups that you have to watch out that it might overflow! There is an opening at the top for the straws and spoons, so if they treat you extra special and pack it in, you gotta sneak attach it from the top of the lid until you get to the rim of the cup. They have a lot of seating areas for you and your friends to come, relax, and enjoy some che. They are really chill and want you to hang out at their place because they have a few couches for you to relax on while eating your dessert. They also started this super awesome Happy Hour special! Who knew that dessert places like this does that!!!! They got a buy 3 get one free special from 6pm to 8pm! So grab 3 other friends and head over to Bambu!

Youll find a large variety of drinks here with various types of filling. These are considered "dessert" drinks rolled into one, and are typically what you may see in a Vietnamese restaurant (think 3-color drinks). This place has a lot better options though, and they have a lot of variations such as Pandan and Taro. Youll also find a large variety of coffees there. If youre looking for food though, youll be disappointed. They only have one coconut pandan waffle (which was delicious), but I was hoping they had some additional specialty food. It was not packed when I went, there is a sofa a a few smaller tables for 2. Definitely a try if you love having Vietnamese dessert drinks.

Che is the term for vietnamese desserts. Before BAMBU, che desserts were only available at Vietnamese restaurants. Now, BAMBU has made che dessert drinks available for on the go. BAMBU definitely infuses vietnamese traditions into its drink forms. When I drink the che dessert drinks, it reminds me of my childhood memories of going to San Jose Vietnamese shops and ordering the three color dessert drink (che ba mau). Although the drinks do not follow exactly how traditional drinks are paired, BAMBU still offers tasty che dessert drinks with customizations available.

I visited this place several times because my friend really likes it. Personally, though, Im not so fond of it. It serves vietnamese style desserts, but the taste is not nearly as good as the ones served in the restaurant. On top of each dessert is a one-cup size scoop of crushed ice, which would be pleasing in a hot summer but unnecessarily big for San Franciscos weather. Tried the avocado smoothie. Uuh, it was horrible!! It was too thick and too sugary. If there is anything I would order, it would be just the $2 pandan waffle--tastes good and not too big.

Vietnamese drinks and desserts! If you like coconut milk…then you will like Bambu. Had the Chè 3 màu - Red bean, white bean, green/mung bean, taro, pandan jelly, Vietnamese coffee, and Chè thập cẩm (combination) - Red bean, white bean, green/mung bean, taro, pandan jelly, pearl, combo jelly. Not sure I know everything in the description, but the drinks are tasty! There’s a lot going on with these drinks and the mixture may not be for everyone… but you’ll never know until you try! Oh warning - the Vietnamese coffee is very very strong!

I hopped off the 38 stop at 25th and Geary craving for some hot chocolate. Luckily, this place is right in front of the stop. I ordered a small hot chocolate with a shot of hazelnut and it was delicious. Service is a bit slow, but there were only 2 people working so I understand. I found them to be very courteous. This spot is popular with students. There are couches to hang out with friends, or to study. They also have a few snacks you get get, like the waffles (which Ive yet to try) if you need some sustenance.

This is one of my favorite dessert places in the city! The drinks are sweet, but not overly sweet. The boba is chewy, but not hard. And the staff is super nice. You will definitely find something you like here, the menu is massive (although I usually order the same thing everytime, Taro + Coconut smoothie with boba, because its amazing). And the drinks are customizable, my girlfriend always adds stuff to her Che (like lychee and jackfruit chunks).

as long as youre going to munch tapioca balls, you might as well do it at bambu. they use fresh ingredients. recommend #6 and #10. staff is really nice and its a nice respite from the richmond fog. take a look next time youre in the neighborhood recommend it. kind of a healthier alternative to the other boba places in the city.

Clean and organized! Staffs are attentive and informative. Prices are kept consistent with other cities despite being in SF. The place is big enough for group hangout, with a couch in the middle of the room Recommended drinks: avocado smoothies, taro smoothies. Parking on the street is not too hard to find.

This place isnt your typical tapioca place like Teaway or Purple Kow. Its drinks may include basil seeds and designs look like art. I got the Green Jelly Slushie without coconut milk. It tasted sweet initially but blended in the ice on the top and it was great!

My favorite place for Asian desserts and boba teas. If you like trying new things/quaint food you definitely should go there! If not they have nice selection of teas, smoothies. #6 is my favorite since they have been opened. Also staff is very friendly!

The strawberry smoothie was really good, as well as the mango and passion smoothies! Its pretty frozen, but it has the right amount of sweetness! The pandan jelly is delicious, as my friend has told me. Opens early til late and the wait isnt too long.

Bambu is amazing! I love this place. Toppings are free and you can have multiple Toppings. Pandan jelly, boba and lychee jelly are delicious. Great range of flavours and even smoothies and other desserts. Very good.

This is a vietnamese dessert place. They have a huge variety of bean drinks, jelly and other vietnamese treats. They mostly serve vietnamese cuisine, but they also have other more common desserts. Its totally bambu!

Quick service and tasty Vietnamese dessert-type drinks! A tad on the pricey side, but what isnt expensive in SF. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but if you get lucky, there are parking spots right outside!

Fast service and above average Vietnamese style tea drinks. There is a lot of variety and they are generous with topics. We used Square to order and the drink was ready before we arrived!
