Who ever is in charge of this location should do an under cover walk in & wait , wait wait wait ummmm yeah & yes wait some more, while watching the mess the kid who cant scrape frozen ice cream is making when you realize the place is filthy, the kid hands you a dripping sloppy mess in a bowl with one hand while whipping his nose with the other.. We use to enjoy going in for a treat but, not now. After repeated,,, on numerous occasions,,, Yes multiple times,& always a different kid mind you on 2-18-17 I visited for the last time. Walked in & shortly walked out in complete discuss, multiple customers busy I get it 3 employees 1 working, the other 2 discussing there lives... that was a jem of a conversation to listen to. the one who was working, apologizing repeatedly stating she was new....... You could have knocked me over with a 2*4 Sorry folks the place was a complete mess, even if I wanted to wait in line for 30 min.. I never could have eaten the sloppy mess they were trying to pass off as an ice cream parlour treat...

The guy that checked us out was great but the girl scooping our ice cream showed poor customer service. We were all set to go and put in our order and all she did was look at us and leave, She than proceeded to take her sweet time getting her apron on and washing her hands and spent a long time drying her hands fully aware of the fact that we were there waiting to be served. She just looked at us not even saying anything and It wasnt until a good 5 minutes that she finally decided to ask if we wanted anything. I also asked if I could have two flavors side by side and she constantly denied me of it and said that "You cant have it that way" which to me I thought was odd because every time I go to a cold stone The employees were more than happy to give me two flavors side by side instead of mixed.

They used to be good. The ice cream is great but we ordered a birthday cake there and the cake was way smaller than the worker said and the Oreo cookies on top were broken! We never had a problem buying ice cream cakes a while ago but now its just sad. We also bought a premade ice cream cake and if you cut the cake it was completely lopsided and uneven. They are really bad when it comes to putting the cake together. But at least the flavor was there. Not impressed at all and quite annoyed by the workers comment about their larger round cake being able to feed at least 15 people Its more like 12 very small pieces. Now its too late to even get them to make a new one. I definitely do NOT recommended this place for party cakes. This cold stone has completely gone down the past couple of years

I love the ice cream, but the service here is bad. I was given overflowing cups that were melting so fast there was a steady dripping down the sides. I understand that ice cream melts, but this was so soupy and it wasnt evan that warm outside. I was trying to figure out how to get the two bowls home and asked for lids. They were too full to get the lids on and I had ice cream and napkins on the counter and on the floor and on my hands. Neither employee offered any help me, evan though they both looked at me. I just had to leave the mess, it was embarassing. Shame on you for treating your customers so disrespectfully. I expect way better for $20 of ice cream. I wont be back.

As many have noted, the process of creating your order takes some time, which makes for an unusually long wait. Unfortunately our visit was aggravated by short staff and a customer who said their order was done incorrectly (although it was prepared right in front of them?!). The workers did an exemplary job considering the circumstances! I didnt find that my ice cream was as exceptional for the price.

Worst customer service ever always get attitude from the employees. Half of the employees stand around and the place is a mess. Also when they hand you your ice cream its a mess as well as the side of the container. you wait forever to get help even when youre the only one in there. You would expect better service and quilty for the price you pay. I will never go back

I love cold stone, but this was terrible! All the ladys working here look like they are all family and they are too busy messing around and getting orders wrong. Then the rest if there family comes in not kidding 10 of them and ask order live its and drinks and prayed less then I did for 4 like its! I hope they all get fired!

I went at 9:50pm and tgere were these 2 girls working and they took forever. I got out at 10:20pm. They talked together and laughed and did not work. They didnt even finish from my family before starting with the other customers. They were very disrespectful and slow. I did not like there service.

Delicious ice cream with special ingredients made right before you--what is there not to like. The staff here in Salem were very kind and did not rush us when we wanted to think about toppings. They let us take our time and visit with our guests.

Impressively slow. I wasnt even aware it was possible to scoop ice cream at a pace physically slower than paint drying. Im all for taking your time and doing a good job, but this was comical.

One of the best ice cream places Ive been to chain wise in the United States , you can NYX pretty much anything you want into any flavor of ice cream, and they have many things to choose from.

Disarray and disorganization. Place has little life left given the hygiene or lack thereof and the ridiculous behavior by employees goofing off while theres a line out the door!

Not super happy with this one, store was a bit dirty. Guy making my stuff was said to be there for a month or two and was still super nervous and didnt make it right.

Amazing ice cream, friendly workers. Sometimes they make too much ice cream to fit in your cup but they just pile it on top anyway. :)
