Place - good place to acess. Pretty many tables and less crowd than Ghiradelli square. You dont need to wait to order or get table. There also offter same prodects like Ghiradelli sqaure. Taste - Good. Sweet but not tooooo sweet. I love browny with ice cream. Treasure Island is good for two people. Drink is not too special but vanilla latte is great! If you ask a whip cream on it, they will do for your drink. Price and Service - price is not too expensive just tourist place. Service is not that good. A person who gave a free chicolate was nice but evey time I visited here, cashers were not nice.

Its not a very big store but its close to the Montgomery BART station so its a great last second gift idea spot on the way home from work. They also serve a few desserts at a counter bar you can sit at if theres room. I havent yet tried that though I have gone in a few times to purchase chocolates. The staff seem pretty friendly though the interactions are pretty brief when you arent sitting down to eat. Maybe if I go in and try one of their desserts at the counter I would crank out one more star if its amazing... Hard to say.

Ghirardelli Chocolate store just off market. The store it self is not too large but not really small either. Has their main collection of chocolate squares along with some other bits and pieces. Also serves some of the deserts. Staff was friendly and helpful when I visited. The location makes it convenient to pop in while in a rush but if you have time, though, I would recommend going to Ghirardelli Square instead that has both a large selection of chocolate along with more desert options.

We ordered three desserts, and they forgot mine. After five minutes, I asked the waitress for my order again, and she told me that thats all there is on our order. I showed them our receipt, she went back, but they forgot AGAIN. When I went over to them again, exasperated, she sheepishly told me that theyll start making my order. The manager came over, listened to my complaint, and offered to refund my order, but made no attempt to apologize or look apologetic.

The sundaes here are delicious, but the cashier staff can be a little snappy at times. This spot is filled with tourists and visitors, so not the friendliest of settings. The staff making the sundaes are much nicer, sit by the bar to get a good look at all the goodies being made. Come in and get out, if you already know what you want. The bathroom lines are always long and the setup makes this spot congested and claustrophobic at times.

Ok, this is a tourist stop. However, sometimes its fun to be a tourist in your own city. Sundays are great. I think its the real whipping cream that does it. Chocolate is just right. This isnt some sort of poofy gourmet spot but it makes the perfect rendition of a hot fudge Sunday. Location is picturesque. I like to sit at the outdoor tables on the square.

I have walked by this place on my way to work and back ever since Ghirardelli moved in. I finally treated myself to the Height Ashberry Sundae. It tasted great! The service was wonderful! The girl served me with a big smile. I have stopped in for chocolate bars and etc. and have always been treated well. Of course i dont drop in often.

Ive been here more than a few times and each time I am greeted with a smiling face and free chocolate square of the day. Its always cool inside since they offer many different types of delicious SF chocolate. They have ice cream (my favorite), cookies and of course chocolate. Great location in the heart of the downtown/financial district.

THis is hand down review peoples, no need to say this is the best ice cream in the WORLDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The ice cream is all taste so good just like the chocolate piece they give me even more better than piece of chocolate, I like mint and it knock out me. Peoples eat Ghiradeli chocolate and taste the best ice cream in the worlds.

Our visit here was fantastic. The girl taking orders was happy, friendly, patient, and had excellent customer service. She gave some very helpful recommendations including slightly modifying one of the items on the menu to make it even better. The ice cream was great, the service was great. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Very good ice cream but my god its over 1100 calories for a single ice cream cup. Not only that, but $10+ per ice cream which is pretty ridiculous. Im all for ice cream, and Ghirardelli at that, but it cost $45ish for four ice cream cups which is just way too much. Due to the price, not recommended.

I had one of the best customer service experience in a very long time. Emiliano was very helpful not only to me but to other customers before me. I actually had to go back into the store to tell him and look for his manager to give Emiliano the kudos he so deserved.

Nice store, lots of selection. Offered a free sample as soon as I walked in. Prices for the chocolate were more expensive than the Safeway down the street. So unless you want to mix and match the bulk squares Id stick to with a grocery store.

Ghiradelli ice cream is great. Our son wasnt exactly in a great mood when we went, but he was much improved after his frozen treat. Too bad that the staff forgot to get us the waffle cone we had asked for...

Yes, its touristy and full of tourists but free chocolate samples as you walk in, loads of great stuff to buy, and a terrific ice cream sundae bar to order from. Great sundaes! Decent service. Yum.

I tried their traditional chocolate desserts. I must say I have had better. The place was cozy though and the bars along the windows were awesome to sit and watch outside views while eating.

Quiet and clean clean shop with a delicious and unique menu. Fudge brownie are excellent, and the chocolate is awesome. We shared the Lands End and it put us away (happily) for the night.

Got a to-go milkshake and a few chocolates. Service was fast and they still gave me the traditional sample chocolate. The ice cream stuff is expensive but worth it!
