I went to Simply Desserts to buy a cake for my wifes birthday tonight. there was an uncut chocolate raspberry cake at 4.85 a slice so I did the math and figured why not. They WOULDNT sell me the cake!! I could get half the cake, but not both halves. I wasnt asking for a discount or expecting one. I just needed a cake. Simply STUPID. $68 dollar sale out the window. WTF? I felt like I was in the scene where Jack Nicholson wanted toast but couldnt get it and had to order a chicken sandwich instead.

Horrible cake and horrible cookies - fresh out of the frozen section in any grocery store!!!! Some chocolate chips covered in cake that tasted like baking soda no flavor at all. The place is a hole in the wall, no washrooms two tables and you are served on paper plates for the price you pay they can at least have regular porcelain dishes. Will never go there again and tell everyone I know how horrible it is.

Oh WOW!! This little shop has decadent desserts. We enjoyed the chocolate cake and red velvet cake. They were melt in your mouth delicious! We also had an americano, fabulous. If it would have been appropriate to hug the young man behind the counter to show our appreciation we would have. I wish we had one of these in my neighborhood!

A sweet little place in a great walking village of Fremont with AMAZING CAKE. Moist, rich, full of flavor, fabulous frostings - theres not a bum among em. The Red Velvet and Dark dark chocolates are too good to be true - except they are. Enjoy this unpretentious contribution to Fremont at the Center of the Universe.

Small place, cash only, really good selection of cakes. The cakes dont blow your mind per se, but they are good. I could probably make something similar with 4-5 hours on a Saturday and the right ingredients, or I could just spend $5-6 and get a reasonably-sized slice of cake from here instead.

Hands down this is the best cake and cake frosting I have ever had. I havent tried their other desserts, but cake does not get any better then this. The texture of each component is perfect. If you want a good cake for your event, come to Simply Desserts. Try the caramel chocolate cake.

Great Red Velvet and Birthday cakes. A must try is their espresso float. Vanilla ice cream with shots of espresso, almost an affogato. Hooray for Simply Desserts for bringing it into my life. The staff is super nice.

Cake options were okay. Cake was mediocre. People that worked there were not that friendly. There was so apology for no public restrooms. It was definitely on par with having cake at a typical restaurant. Pass.

We got two different slices and disliked both, only took a few bites. Cake part was dry, definitely seemed old. Whipped filling tasted good. Top frosting tasted terrible and had a very strange aftertaste.

The cakes here are very delicious! A bit pricey and they only take cash but definitely worth the try! Not a wide variety is sold as it is a very small shop but its still one of the best in town.

Cakes are incredible, best Ive had in the city. Service can be a bit slow and the atmosphere inside could use some more coziness, that said as far as foods concered they get it right.

Best cake in Seattle. Possibly the best commercial cake in the state. We dont eat cake anywhere else, unless I baked it. I particularly like the chocolate caramel.
