A sample sale is what originally drew me to Pure Bliss, and while I didnt purchase the dress I was eying when I was there, I was really impressed with the staff! They were so nice and accommodating! So when I went shopping with my mom and sister, SERIOUS dress shopping, I was instantly drawn to go back there, and Im glad that I did. After trying on probably about 10 dresses, I finally found the dress I loved! And the staff kept the shop open a little later, not pushing us out, so I could stay in the dress and truly get excited about the purchase. Since then, Ive gone back three times--once to try the dress on when it arrived, another time for my bustle-fitting, and lastly for my final pick-up. Each visit has been so pleasant--Jeanine runs a really well-oiled machine. They were also so helpful with accessories (which are very reasonably priced at the boutique!), and putting the whole look together. A plus in my book. Id send anyone back there who was looking for a fun and fulfilling dress experience! The dress was perfect upon pick-up, in a perfect bag all pressed and ready to go. There was a personal card tucked into the pocket, wishing me luck and thanking me for my business. A really nice touch! I loved Pure Bliss!

We ordered a wedding cake for my daughters wedding. We started by going in and sampling cakes and as the reviews here point out, they were excellent. We chose a flavor and ordered a cake. The cake visually was very nice, definitely met expectations. However when we tasted it, it was horrible. I dont say this lightly, it was probably the worst purchased cake I have ever eaten. It was so dry that very few of the guests even finished it. It was nothing like the samples we had tried at the store. Not sure if the cake was made wrong or if it possibly sat a few days before they frosted it, but it was pretty bad. Given the reviews here, we probably got a rare bad cake, and again the samples were excellent. I wanted to edit this review after being contacted by someone from the bakery. I always know that the best businesses can make mistakes, its how they resolve them that is most important. They handled it perfectly. I will definitely use them again because they are professional and I appreciated their response to our issue. Given their reviews, I am certain we were an anomaly.

I considered several bakeries in the area when planning my wedding, but decided to go with Pure Bliss because they’re a local Bellingham business and they had the best prices. I decided to do a dessert bar and a small cutting cake rather than a full wedding cake. The dessert bar price includes stand rentals, delivery, and dessert bar set up. There are lots of options for desserts and you can schedule a tasting to try them. We ended up serving 3 different dessert bars and they were a huge hit with our guests. Everyone at Pure Bliss was very kind and helpful. It was easy to work with the event team over email to schedule our tasting and order our desserts. The desserts were delivered on time and looked beautiful. Our cutting cake looked super classy and tasted amazing. Pure Bliss’ chocolate cake is so incredibly moist, I highly recommend it!! Normally, Pure Bliss is amazing! However, I went there on Valentines Day and bought four pieces of cake for my family. I was soooo excited to eat a piece of Salted Carmel cake after dinner but was thoroughly disappointed. The cake was not even close to my expectations, last time I had the most amazing piece of Salted Caramel cake. The time I had visited before the cake was rich and moist. But this time the cake was dry, and seemed to be at least a couple days old. I spent $24 on what I thought was going to be an awesome end to our night but none of them liked it and we ended up throwing away our cake. I am not trying to bash Pure Bliss because they still are a great bakery, I just wish my last experience was better. Dont think Ill be coming back very soon.

I called in and asked if I could have two cakes made for a birthday and a graduation party. I wasnt sure they would be able to fit in my order because I needed to pick up the cakes on Friday and I called in on Wednesday evening. All the women who helped me were very sweet and helpful. Not only did they have the cakes ready early for me early, but hey were beautiful and taste amazing! The way they package them makes it so they dont slide around in the box which made transporting from Bellingham to Seattle a breeze! The second one for my husband, I picked up that same friday, but didnt celibate until Sunday evening. The second cake still tasted amazing! Thank you Pure Bliss for making a crazy weekend so easy!

Great atmosphere during the day to relax and have a coffee with their amazing deserts (their WiFi is excellent). Easily accommodates small parties, and since they regularly experiment with new recipes the store often has new things to try. They also have a really wide variety of great possibilities to order for celebrations. When I visit family I usually bring a box of treats from this place for them to try. This place even as some truly wonderful gluten-free options (and not just in comparison to other gluten-free items which normally I can not stand), but first and foremost the cakes are the greatest drawing point and Ive never had better anywhere.

They make cake. I know, you are thinking "so what?", right? Let me tell you, this part of the world is bland at best. Most things we have to consume are not made, they are mixed and warmed up, they come from boxes and bags and have the flavors and textures of Norwegian humor. (Sorry Norwegians, let me explain..that was a joke..) Anyway, the delights that are coming out of Pure Bliss are ,well, blissful. Obviously made with love, and worth the trip into the land of bland to enjoy.

BEST CAKE EVER. Seriously. Do you remember that one time when you were out to a restaurant and ordered a slice of cake for desert and it surprised you because it was truly, amazingly good; much better than normal? And then you wished that you had got your own slice instead of sharing it because you were enjoying it more than you were enjoying your date? Pure Bliss cake is like that EVERY TIME! And if youre clever you can get gelato to go with it right next door. BRILLIANT!

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxing. I requested a complex espresso drink (tall americano, caramel sauce, sugar free vanilla, an inch of cream and caramel drizzle). It was perfect. The barista was very sweet and had no problem with preparing my picky drink. My small children were welcomed. They loved their chocolate caramel cupcakes, and I had a carrot cake cupcake. I love the décor as well.

Im so glad that Pure Bliss has opened a new bakery in Bellingham. Ive been ordering cakes for holidays and birthdays from Andi at Pure Bliss for the past year and they always get rave reviews from my friends and families. I think that I am actually invited back to more dinner parties because of them! Now its been nice to enjoy Andis craftsmanship any time along with a nice cup of coffee or glass of port.
