The man that has been there every time I have gone in thats been a handful at the most over 5-9years was so rude and so unwilling to see the error no matter how big or small was on their end not mine. Went to get a sucker fish for my tank to help clean it after 10+mins waiting and hanging around in fish area with not one person to say a word to me went to cashier &I asked for help in fish. He told me " Ill send someone " a younger man came back and seemed to be newer or not pro at fish but he tried and he was kind & helpful. Picked one &a the price on the tank was under $9. He wrote that on the bag. Went to pay and the older gray hair man said it was over $13 for the fish I explained no & why. His answer was " he doesnt work in the fish really, he didnt get the price right" I looked at him shocked. This was who had SENT that kid to help me plus over $4-5 your going to make me be not only a never again already rare customer but a dissatisfied customer!?? Told him he should honor the price on the tank and bag and they wrote it on the bag. His next answer made me sick. " well I already ran the credit card and its such a hassle to do a return and then redo it and it would take a few days to show on your account anyhow, plus the price isnt right" what a jerk. Months later went in with a friend who got some bulk bird food and found out that the 3 regular customers who came in and got stuff and left while we were waiting to be helped again with no response clearly are all the care about and anyone else is worthless to them. Hate this place!! Plus prices are almost double any other local pet store

Ive been going here for years- but my most recent experience was so amazing that it prompted me to write this review. They have a very good selection, my favorite is all of the bulk dog chews and treats! Normally I know what I need and so I dont have a bunch of questions for the staff though they are always good about asking if I need help with anything. I went in this time with questions on a couple different options for things to use so that I could control my strong and energetic German shepherd puppy on walks. The woman that helped me was very kind and took the time not only to throughly explain the diffences between the items that I was looking at, but once I decided on what would work best (ended up going with the Halti head collar) she tried it on my dog to make sure it would fit properly. She even taught me how to help my puppy get used to it, and did some training with him so that I would know what to do at home!

This was shared by a friend of ours this evening: "My sweet little fergie is a bull mastiff diagnosed earlier today with liver failure of some type. Doctor recommends dietary supplements. So upon visiting creature comforts pet store on mcgloughlin blvd in oak grove this evening, when I asked at the counter for suggestions about how to care for her, the young man stated that he had left all of his ammunition at home. We found this to be, not only unfunny, but way way out of line for a retail establishment founded on a love for pets. Make this public notice that they have recieved the very last penny they will ever collect from our household. And dear god please let me bump into that idiot somewhere" I personally cannot say that I have ever entered this establishment. But by hearing/seeing this from a very trusted friend, I have absolutely no desire to. Just sayi

They offer a good price on Weruva cat food, which my cat loves. Shes a finicky eater. However, for the past year...every time I go there the cashiers make comments that to me or judgemental. They no nothing about my cats situation or mine, and Im tired of them their judgemental comments. I dont think that they are even aware of it. It has made me want to shop elsewhere going forward. I dont need to have my cat food commented on EVERY time I go there....it has been over a year and Im frankly tired of it.

Weve been coming here for over 12 years now and in fact our two cats came from there 12 years ago. They have a large selection of excellent pet foods and fun toys that my cats and dog have enjoyed over the years. Their service is awesome and they always help me out to my car. Whenever Ive had questions I have always received honest and helpful information. Store hours are also great as they are open later than I would expect of a pet store. Thank you for the great service over the years!

I love their selection and prices. I purchase litter for my ferret here as well as specialty supplements for my senior feline. A few things that can improve: 1. The staff doesnt ever seem attentive to their customers while they are shopping. They seem to be visiting amongst themselves. However they are quite friendly at the register. 2. Several shelf items are dusty and dirty and while I was browsing food dishes, they felt very grimey.

The staff are generally helpful, but can take a bit to actually help since there arent a lot people working there. If you decide to buy pets here, bring your own carrier because one guy, it was the first time I saw him there, put our new rat in a box with no holes and taped it shut and it was a hot day outside. Just as soon as we got back to the car we opened up the box.

Their store was dirty and disgusting. Their animals where poorly taken care of. I came to buy a rat and most of them looked sickly. I found one that looked healthy and when I asked to buy her the employee grabbed the rat by the tail which is extremely painful. Now my rat is terrified of me and squeaks and runs away and wont let me pick her up

The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Creature Comforts has a tremendous selection of products for all your animals. There is a Turtle exhibit and bird display, as well as, everything you could possibly need for your pet. The entire store is done in a very easy access and professional way. Great place for your pets needs.

We love to come here because the type of food we get is so much cheaper here than any other place, the owner is always so nice. Plus we get everything we need for our animals at great prices and our questions answered! We recommend this place to everyone that is local.

It was ok for awhile until the people there started being rude well one in particular was the gay guy there. I will never go back as long as I live. I will continue going to Heps Pets they are more knowledegeable and willing to help with no rudness invloved.

Creature Comfort has all your pet needs whether it is for frogs, lizards, snakes, mice, hamsters, guinea, birds, dogs and cats. You can also visit the tortoises and see them wander their enclosure. Oh, I forgot fish! They have a great assortment.
