Were in the animal care industry, looking to move to the Portland area. While touring all sorts of places to get a feel for the industry in Portland, and stumbled upon this gem. It was the service here that made this place stand out from others. We really enjoyed talking with Josh and Shane about the area and its genuine love of pets. Theyre our kind of people and this is our kind of store! Great selection of holistic foods, eco friendly products and trendy goodies, and all well priced. Brought home a few goodies for our furkids.

I moved to the neighborhood a year and a half ago and its the only pet store Ive been to since. Its a great place. Everyone is always helpful and nice. I always find a neat, new toy and/or treat for my Gordon Setter. They also have a good selection of other products from poo bags to doggie backpacks and beds (also buy those items there) They also have a loyalty program for dog food bags and I got my free one last time. Even when it comes time to move to another part of town, I will keep going there.

Ive been a loyal customer for over a decade and Im treated exceptionally well every time I go in. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and the owner carefully research is all the products that they carry. Im looking for something specific and they dont have it they are more than happy to order it for me. Plus, there charitable giving is really phenomenal. This is by far Portlands best place for pet supplies but limited to mostly dog and cat items with a few things for rabbits too.

All around this store is excellent. It is the first business that has inspired me to write a review, positive or negative. The staff was very knowledgable in a varity of products for my puppy. There is no main stream "vet recommended" brands there like Science Diet, etc. No fillers in the products here that I found! And I thought the prices were more than reasonable for what you get. I will definitely be returning and recommending this store to all my fellow pet lovers!

This is the best pet store - it really is a treat everytime we (including the humans!) visit. The staff are very knowledgeable and excel at customer service. Simon the owner is just the best - he is genuinely interested in our fur kids! He understands their personalities and has provided some helpful direction in their care. Forever Pets on NE Broadway is simply the best. They have a huge supply of everything but equally importantly, they have the sweetest and most helpful staff imaginable. The staff clearly adore animals and are very patient and knowledgeable. They also have sweet pet events like an annual Halloween party. Ever since I discovered this shop, I only rarely shop elsewhere. I cant recommend it enough!

Simon and his staff special order special food for me every month, and have been more than accommodating with bag sizes and flavors for my sensitive dog. Great selection of quality foods- I know they dont bring anything into the store unless theyve completely vetted the company and their practices/ingredients, which I appreciate so much!

I go there once a week. I love the people who work there, but more importantly, they care about the people and their pets. Ive never had a bad experience there. My dog has a set routine and if we dont make it for a visit one week she gets upset and pouty.
