Excellent Staff & Service! I wanted a Wedco Pan Oil Container to change the oil in my car. Ive owned one for over 10 years and still use it at my home on the East Coast. I wanted another and found it on the ACE Hardware website so I went to my nearest store and they didnt have it in stock they said maybe you can order one through the website, with no further effort. I went online and when ordering through the website checkout it wanted me to sign up for some online VISA Credit Card Verifying Program which gave me problems with a password setup, thus I couldnt order it and quit the process. The next day I called another ACE store in Aloha, Oregon to see if they had it in stock and they didnt but immediately they looked it up on their website and offered to ship it to the store for free in two days. WOW what service! Not only did they call to notify me that it arrived but it was less expensive than the website price! When I went to pick it up they had it at the register waiting so I bought a bunch of other things while I was there because the store was so friendly and courteous. FYI... I work at one of the two big national hardware chain stores so I know what good customer service is and the staff at the Aloha ACE Store were excellent.

Despite its modest appearance, actually a very large, well stocked store. Usually very well staffed with older, knowledgeable individuals, who are able to help you find what you are looking for. Excellent supply of hardware and fasteners, tools, painting and home/garden supplies. Good place to get a key made. If I need something specific tool wise, I usually go here first. As far as prices go, they are surprisingly competitive with Home Depot and Lowes. I recommend joining the Ace rewards card program for coupons and sale info.

Cut a key that Lowes and Home Depot would not. I went to Lowes and Home Depot to have a new chipped car key cut. Both stores said they could not cut the key. I told the representatives that all I wanted was the key to be physically copied (not programmed) but they still insisted they could not have my key copied. Went to Ace and they cut my car key for $12.99 no questions asked. Note that I had to program my key myself; Ace does not offer this service. But they did what Home Depot and Lowes could not.

Ace is kind of like a traditional hardware store. You wont find stacks of lumber or drywall here. If you need that, go to Parr Lumber or GTS Interior Supply. But you will find a huge assortment of plumbing, electrical and hardware(as in nuts, bolts, screws). The people that work here will walk the whole store with you on their mission to get everything on your list. I only wish their hours were longer. Sometimes Im forced to go to one of the big box twins when Ace is closed.

I was very impressed! I was in search of a very specific item. After having gone to 3 other hardware stores, I called to see if they had this item in stock. The store clerk who answered, knew exactly what I was looking for, assured me that they had it, and THEN told me exactly where it was located in the store along with the price! Great customer service!!! I was in and out in no time with exactly what I was looking for ;)

Worst staff ever. Been going there for five years or so. Live close. Loved the place. Today they escorted my lady out. Said she looks like a thief. I went to talk to them and this Todd guy would not even shake my hand. I have spent hundreds of dollars there and they seemed to have know us. Made us feel terrible. Never going there again and will share this with as meny as i can. Shame on u

Very knowledgable staff! They know there stuff and what to do with it. Great selections! In the last ten years of using this store for all my hardware needs, I have only left the store twice without what I needed. The last time was for an extended length, reduced diameter shaft die. (I finally found the die at a machine shop in Detroit, MI.) Great prices, too!

I love this Ace H/W store. The selection is extremely broad. They believe in stocking the less common H/W related items that you wont find at the homecenters. These guys really understand the H/W business!! I try and support them because their local selection has bailed me out many times. Their help is supurb!! (Dan did me a big favor and Im very thankful)

Clean interior. Decent pricing. Not always the biggest selection, but this is more than made up for by the staffs excellent knowledge and friendly service. Last time I went, they opened the doors 15 minutes before official opening time, which really helped my morning. Ace is now my first pick before Home Depot or Lowes.

I dont always write a review but when i do, theres a reason. This time it was NOT because of excellent customer service. It was quite the opposite. Least helpful phone call Ive ever made. I didnt even get a straight answer if they have the product i was looking for. How can your business survive like this?

Hello Dan, The service is # 1 prices are also A+. I Still cant believe that Home Depot and Chevy Dealer said go see Ace is the place from now on. The other guys didnt have the parts I Was looking for. So now ACE is the place for our first Stop. Good Job !!

Seriously, this place is great. They have a huge selection of oddball, hard-to-find-parts and hardware, and an older very knowledgeable staff that actually know what theyre talking about. quick and easy to get in and out as well.

This is a great hardware store. Ive been here a few times to have a key made, purchase some fly traps, and once to check on paint prices. They are affordable, had a HUGE selection, and have extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Lot of hard to find hardware I couldnt find anywhere else. Store is jam-packed full of more useful stuff than home depot or lowes in my opinion. Much easier to find what I need. Probably bigger than most ACE stores.
