I had an issue at first with a return. I talked to their customer service and they fixed it. They managed to turn an angry customer that never wanted to step foot in there again with one of the proudest Wooster Petco supporters out there. Their customer service is wonderful. I brought my dog to their trainer, Brandy, for 3 sets of classes and the worst thing I could say is that she cares too much about the pets in her class. You can see her passion for pets and getting them to be obedient. I have actually called the store multiple times and she has always returned my call. I also had an issue with my dog once and needed her advice rather fast. I looked her up and Facebook and messaged her.... she wasnt even working and messaged me back with an answer. In order to be a part of dog school, one has to be in the mindset to learn. Dog school is more about teaching the owner how to train. If you walk in thinking the trainer will kidnap your dog and return the next Hatchi, youre wrong. It is never the trainers fault someone doesnt learn. They can only do so much in class. If someone is consistent with what she teaches, the class is a true success. I know I went hope and PRACTICED everything she taught. I have personally recommended her to many people to take their dogs to her. I have enjoyed puppy school to the MAX with her. She has lots of experience and does an amazing job! I highly recommend Petco and their dog trainer Brandy.

My experience with Petco was very disappointing. The staff that helped me did not agree with the fact that I was buying a training collar and they reflected this by some very bad attitudes and being very unhelpful. When I got home I had found that the collar they sold me was used, the batteries were dead, and it did not even fit on my dogs neck. When I went to return the item to the store they told me that I would had to wait 5-7 business days before my money would show up in my bank account because I used a debit card. They would not allow me to have cash back. When I asked the woman if there was anything she could do she said no and pushed my item and the receipt back at me. I then decided to call Petco customer service and sat on the phone for an hour with them. They told me that there was nothing they can do and they werent able to answer any of my questions when asked. Horrible experience. I will not be shopping with this company any longer.

In the past I have had good experiences with Petco grooming. However for the past 6-9 months they have not been able to keep a steady groomer. Every time I take my dog in to be groomed there is someone new and it seems the groomers have been getting younger and have no experience. Recently I took my dog in for a full groom. I was very disappointed when I picked him up because they did not trim his face or skirt at all and did a poor job trimming his nails. I took him back in immediately and asked for them to finish cutting him, however as soon as the next client came in they stopped so I came home with a half-trimmed dog. I wrote and left messages for the manager and never heard back. I have been taking my dog to Petco grooming for the past 2.5 years and I will no longer take him there because the service has gone so downhill! It is a waste of money to take your pet there!

Waited 15minutes to purchase fish when all 3 employees "working" stood and chatted near the register area which I was in clear view of them. Finally went and asked if anyone was working in the fish department and was told they were short staffed so customers had to look for someone who could assist them. REALLY....... 3 people on the clock, all chatting it up and I have to ASK for assistance!!!! I wasnt the only customer who wanted fish and the guy in front of me had to ASK to be assisted and the employee walked away like I was a ghost!!!! Not under staffed.....inadiquately staffed, how bout hire someone who knows something about CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Took at least 15 min to get any service at all and then the girl that came up to us took another 15 min just to come back and tell us she couldnt get the key to the tank because her supervisor wasnt answering her pages. We told her wed called ahead and driven over 20 miles to get there (for my daughters hermit crabs) and she simply shook her head. Thankfully a minute later her manager appeared and she got the key she needed to open the door to the crabs. Its ridiculous that the employees dont all have access to these sacred keys.

Went to buy some snails and possibly a fish tonight! But when we ask what the price of a certain fish was, employee said she was changing price tag holders so none of the fish were for sale!! And turned away to continue working. We wanted to speak to a manager, and she was the manager!! A manager who was unwilling to find a price for a paying customer and sell us a saltwater fish! Makes the 40 minute drive to a local aquatics store worth the trip!! We will not be shopping at petco again!

Most of the people the work here really love animals of any kind. And love talking about animals and have great knowledge about them. However once when I asked about a snail dying and prevention of it happening again, an associate basically said they arent very expensive and its not a big deal... Disappointing as saving money wasnt my objective. Keeping animals healthy is more important then saving a couple bucks. But even so, I would recommend this Petco.

I bought 2 tubs of superworms 70 cnt and 35 count. There were only 8 in the 70 cnt and 27 in the 35 cnt..I live over half an hour from store and i work midnights so a chore to even get there the first time. The lady says just bring them back ..easier said then done plus my dragon was already starving so i had to feed her!! You could just give a credit for that why make me waste over 2 hours driving plus double the gas money!!! I have a reciept no.!!!!!!

Dog trainer quit showing up for classes and couldnt be bothered to return phone calls. Our puppy never learned anything that he didnt already know, which wasnt a big deal but we took him there to socialize him with other puppies and he ended up in a class by himself. Waste of time and effort. A lot of what the trainer taught seemed mimicked from TV shows.

Took my golden retriever in for grooming was told it would take about 2 hours to do. Over 3 hours later Im able to get my dog and was over half way home when I realized they put the wrong collar on her. They missed quite a few areas when trimming her and were not apologetic about anything that happened. 1st and last time taking my dog here.

Went in to return an ID tag that I purchased online. A staff member was extremely rude and short with me. Wouldnt let me return it because I didnt have the receipt and never gave information that I later found online, that I could get store credit without a receipt or simply exchange it. Never want to purchase from here again.
