My wife and I have shopped at this PetSmart for a while now. So, we decided to try their grooming services. We dropped off our Yorkie, and left to shop and have some dinner. A while later we got a phone call saying we should come pick up our dog. I said wed finish at the store we were in, then be over. I then got a second call that we should come over as soon as possible, because they cut our dog. In a panic, my wife and I left the store and hurried over. When we got there, the groomer showed us the dime-sized chunk of skin she had removed from our dogs belly. She was very apologetic and upset, but then told us we would still need to pay full price for the grooming. They assured us, though, that they would reimburse us if we wanted to have our vet look at the wound. The groomer said that their vet tech had looked at the wound, and did not see any reason to treat it. We took our dog to our vet the very next day, and he said that it really should have been sutured, but that it was too late; he put our dog on antibiotics. We took the bill in to PetSmart later that day. We were told that it could take up to a week to get a reimbursement check from corporate, and that they would call us to come pick it up(!) when it came in. My wife and I werent happy, but we got the managers card and went home. After two weeks I still had not received a call, so I called the manager, and he said the check had not come in. I indicated that since this had all been very inconvenient, could he just mail the check to me. He was very accommodating, and took my address. *Two weeks later* I finally received the check. Overall, I understand accidents happen, but their handling of the situation was abysmal. I should have been told immediately what happened on the *first* phone call, I should *not* have had to pay for the grooming service (maybe just for the bath), and they should have reimbursed me immediately when I brought in my vet bill. I am currently looking for a new groomer.

I will NEVER take a pet to these groomers again, and I cant even take my girl there anymore to shop because she is scared as soon as we walk in. The first time I took my Pom to get her hair cut, I took her home and I had found that they nicked two of her pads on her feet, and they didnt bother to mention it to me. I thought maybe it was just an accident, and took her back in a couple months when she needed groomed again. First hint is that she was scared and shaking as soon as I carried her into the store. I asked for a different groomer, to hopefully avoid the same incident again. My dog is the sweetest, most sensitive, loving girl I have ever seen. She loves people, and doesnt have any issues with aggression or being overly dramatic. After about an hour of her being there I get a call from the groomer because she was being aggressive, trying to bite the groomer anytime the groomer came near her head with the clippers, and that she had defecated and urinated all over herself and the grooming table. This is my baby, I got frantic and said I would be down right away. The groomer told me not to come down there because if my girl saw me, it might make her worse. This is BEYOND outside of my dogs character, and I obviously went down there anyway. She was absolutely petrified. I dont know what exactly happened to my dog while she was there to get that upset to pee and poop all over herself, but it absolutely broke my heart. Ive never taken her back, and have her groomed somewhere else and have not had a single problem since. She is actually happy to go see her current groomer which sure says a lot about her experience at Petsmart, dont you think?

I bought an aquarium light from this place,got it home and when i opened it the correct light bulb was not in the package....it was a different brand all together and it was also the last bulb they had in stock. When i called the store the 1st time i even got an apology was when i was talking to the store manager who did offer to replace or refund the bulb,but that was after it burnt out my $180 fixture.Her explanation (the store manager) was that the shipments they get are pre-packaged so it could not have been their fault. I however doubt that at the warehouse they would stick old broken bulbs in their packaging for laughs. Also their aquarium dept. was a joke dead/dying fish everywhere 2 clown loaches COVERED in ich housed in a tank with live snails.Basically expect a walmart atmosphere, no customer service, no one knows what there talking about, but good selection of stock and good prices. Last part is a week later the fairlawn store had some of the bulbs i needed but would NOT do the exchange for me,i was told i have to go back to the Cuyahoga falls store because i bought it there. Thank you Petsmart.

if i could give zero stars i would. this evening my wife went to pick up our mini golden doodle from the groomers here and he looked awful, the cut the gave him on his face was horrid and he looked like he licked a damn electrical socket. so when we got home about 2 hours later from the trip to go get him we decided to give him a bath so he would not look like that. upon drying him we found fleas on him and began searching the rest of him and our other dogs!! mind you that every time we let them outside we look them over and wipe the dogs paws because we have white carpet. so my wife called the groomers and the women on the phone said what do you want me to say we sweep up the hair here so he could not have gotten them from us...like what crack pipe was she smoking. he has never had anything neither have my other two dogs. She was not helpful at all said it was my issue and that Niko did not get them from the grooming department. Im now contacting corporate as well as the manager in the am in regards to this.NEVER GO TO THE GROOM DEPARTMENT!!!!!!!!!

AWFUL!!! DONT TAKE YOUR PET TO BE GROOMED THERE!! BE AFRAID IF THIS LARGE GIRL COMES TO GET YOUR DOG with a long brown pony tail. I took my dog to get her nails trimmed and ears cleaned today. I decided to watch from outside the window because my dog is my baby and I did not want her to be treated poorly. She was getting anxious as any dog would and this other worker came over to assist the girl cutting. She put ANOTHER lead on my dogs neck and yanked on it so she was next to the poll. She applied too much force and totally yanked my dogs neck across the table. TOTALLY uncalled for! It made me sick and I am not over reacting. I want to put a lead on her neck and yank her by her neck from the back of the table to the front. It makes me concerned because that was with me watching how do they treat your dog when you arent looking?? I said wow excuse me and she gave me some nasty remark.STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!
