I signed my dog up for the Advanced training class there, which was my first mistake. The cashier signed me up for the wrong class and charged me for said wrong class. She was very unpleasant to deal with. As if my very presence offended her, at signing my dog up for the class was the biggest bother shed dealt with all day. Needless to say her abhorrent behavior was NOT appreciated. Secondly, when I went into the store a few days after (When I noticed that shed messed up) I was simply going to either pay the remainder for the class I wanted, or have the cash refunded and sign up for the class I wanted. Until the trainer of that class intruded the conversation I was having with the manager. "Yeah, your dog isnt ready for the advanced class. Its for dogs that have gone through intermediate." "He has. He passed Intermediate a while ago and was told that he can now move on to Click-A-Trick and Advanced classes." "Well from what I read on the paper, hes not ready. He is still having aggression problems." Mind you the paper she is referring to had ONE sentence about my dog: "He has some social anxiety and barks." But here this woman is, telling me that my dog is aggressive before shes ever seen him! She further more insulted me in a condescending tone by inferring that I dont know my dog, hes too inferior for her class and that I should just take intermediate classes repeatedly until he stops having anxiety. So to Rebeca, the Advanced Class trainer at this particular Pet Smart, let me illuminate you to a situation that you obviously know nothing about. My dog has anxiety, just like I have anxiety which is a condition you cant simply get rid of. He is not aggressive by any means, he barks and confronts strangers by barking. He has NEVER bitten or bared his teeth to anyone, regardless of his anxiety levels. Its something that Ive worked on with his veterinarian and other trainers, so dont go making assumptions about my dog. Thats exactly like saying that just because Im feeling anxious in a social situation Im GOING to hurt someone. Ridiculous tripe!! Needless to say, because of your rudeness and POOR customer service, I will no longer be doing any business at this location. Even if the store manager has little say over the trainers due to their contracts, I simply cant condone the hiring of people like that.

Worst experience Ive ever had and traumatic at that. Theres nothing worse than preparing your fish tank and told that your water and everything is good to go and once I purchased my fish from this established within 2 weeks they were dead. When I went to get an answer and my money back the staff hadnt any knowledge of the reason for this nor did they show any genuine concern for what I went through. When I looked at the aquariums there were dead fish in the tanks and the staff member that was assisting me just came from his smoke break stinking of tobacco and stuck his nasty fingers inside the tank in an attempt to show me the Mollies give, "kisses". That was a red flag right there these people arent taking care of the animals properly nor did he care when we brought it to his attention there were dead fish in another tank. I wont be back at this established nor any Pet Smart for that matter.

I use to take my dog every 2 weeks to get a bath. every time I took her she will come home with a different problem, they will cut her nails to close to the tip, charge me the wrong price and just be so so rude. but I wasa really hopping to find 1 stuff member that will b good with my dog, so I called TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT TODAY AND BEEN TOLD THEY NO LONGER WANT MY DOG TO GET A BATH THERE BECAUSE I WILL COMPLAIN IF SOMETHING WILL GOES WRONG! "PET SMART" IS A VERY BIG COMPZNY IF U DEALING WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT EVERY CUSTOMER WILL ALWAYS B HAPPY. NOT EVERYTHING WILL ALWAYS GO WELL. VERY UNPROFESSINAL

The staff are neither personable or knowledgeable. I bought two tetras from them a few days ago and they came complete with that "bubble" bacteria. Within just 72 hours the only fish remaining in my tank are the suckerfish. I called to ask about their policy and they told me that they would only replace the cost of the fish that were purchased ($2). Management was not friendly or helpful, and the staff is a bunch of idiots. I would not suggest going here unless you are trying to waste your time and money and kill your animals.

I took my medium sized dog to the PetSmart in Golden Gate in Mayfield for a simple walk-in Pawdicure. Hands down the worst PetSmart Ive received service from. When I picked her up her nails looked like they had been broken off rather than cut. Her face was filthy and they had her leash tied around her neck. I had to ask for her collar with her tags because it wasnt with her! Then to top it all off, when I questioned things, the young groomers took up an attitude. Do yourself a favor and choose a different location.

I HAVE TWO DOGS AND HAVE BEEN GOING TO PET SMART FOR TWO YEARS. I REALLY LOVED JODI AND SO DID MY DOGS, BUT SINCE SHE HAS BEEN GONE AND MARY TOOK OVER I HAVE HAD TWO VERY BAD EXPERIENCES. I COULD REALLY TELL MARY DID NOT LIKE MY DOGS AND THEY ARE VERY WELL BEHAVED. SHE DID NOT LIKE THAT THE ONE BARKED BECAUSE SHE MISSED HER SISTER, SO SHE KEPT HER IN THE CAGE LONGER AND MADE US WAIT FOR TEN MINUTES EVEN AFTER WE HAD PAID.

Worst store I have been in for aquarium fish. Most of the display tanks are dirty, algae growth, couple tanks hard to look into. Several with dead fish in them. The Neon Tetra tank had over 21 dead fish and only about 15 live ones. I have been in Petsmart stores in MA. And NY and enjoyed the experience, it was my goto store in Leominster, MA.

I have tropical fish so I mostly stick to the aquatics area of the store. There tanks are clean, no black moss or snail infestations, the fish look to be in good health and they have a good selection. I picked up a few fish from here and so far so good with them. I would differently buy more fish here.

Looked around at several local places that offer dog training. Petsmart was the most reasonable, and we like that they use positive training. We saw some frightening local trainers that were insanely expensive. The trainer at this Petsmart has been fantastic, patient, and our pup loves her as well!

Bought 4 fish - 3 balas and 1 catfish... turns out they came complete with fungal infection which ended up taking out all but 2 of my fish... on top of that the staff was more or less useless. I dont recommend buying fish or anything living or perishable here.

I stop in to buy dog food, theyre out of what I buy. I ask an employee, do you have any of this type in the back? She say no. Ok fine, come home to buy online and internet says I can pickup in Mayfield. Sooo tired of people that just cant do their job.
