We used to love this store. We came for dog training and stayed to buy our pet supplies (dog and cat). The manager at this store is completely inept. I stopped by one day to buy something for my puppy and we chatted for a moment at the register. I mentioned wanting to return to that location for an adult dog obedience class with my puppy when he was old enough. She asked me if I wanted to be a dog trainer (I guess because my dog is well-behaved?), a position for which I am in no way qualified. Then alluded to the fact that their trainer (who i had worked with and really liked) had either been fired or left the store. I dont care what level youre on in management, you NEVER bring HR issues to a customer. Secondly, while we were still training our dog with the TRAINER at the store, she interrupted our class to give our dog a command when he was already working on a command from us. She then rewarded him for the wrong behavior. This threw him off for the entire remainder of the class. This woman should not be anywhere near animals. I hope that Petcos corporate office reads this review and fires her immediately.

I bought 2 water dragons here, both of which had very dark skin. I understand it darkens a bit when they shed, but from what I could tell, there appeared to be something wrong with them. The one died the day after I brought it home and they gave me a hassle about returning it. When I pointed out that the one that they both appeared to have health problems and that the one who died was purchased with an injured front claw, they treated me as if I was lying to them. The other water dragon is now recovering and appears to be shedding normally now, but Id recommend going to a more reputable shop or, better yet, a shelter. Ive had other hassles here before too, but the short story is - I dont recommend this place. If you really want to go to a chain store, Pet Supplies Plus in Stow seems to be significantly better.

I like the store but will never use the salon again. The employees are not trained well enough on handling dogs or they are short tempered. I saw my dog getting nails trimmed when they opened the door and he (a pug) was hanging by his neck, thrashing and literally yelping. You cant do that to pugs or other dogs like them (truly shouldnt to any dog) but for them it can be particularly dangerous. They have belly harnesses but chose not to use it. They wont touch my dog again, but Ill buy his food from there :)

Great location to take your pets shopping and shop for your pets. The staff is very knowledgable and definitely demonstrates expert care. With such a large selection of animal/pet supplies as well as a decent selection of animals, most will definitely find what they are looking for in this very clean and well kept store. The only complaint, is that they should build larger enclosures for their animals, especially the rescue kittens that they have on display.

TERRIBLE SERVICE ,No wonder nobody was here buying anything ! They ADVERTISE a price on their OWN website then you go to the store and they TRY to charge your more saying Petco will NOT "PRICE MATCH" .....EVEN THOUGH IT IS THEIR OWN WEB SITE PRICING !!!!! I will NEVER return here....TOO MANY FRIENDLY Pet Stores around to deal with this bait and switch business practice.

Good deal on their cat litter. The cat food is pricey and not really any good sales. I like the vetco service. Get there before it opens to get an early spot bc its first come first serve. The one vet who comes from time to time is not very personable, his staff is friendly at least. Its cheaper than going to the vet to get microchipped and shots.

Its almost impossible to get any kind of service there. After at least a dozen times of going in there for feeder fish and not being able to find a staff member or able to get someone to help, I have promised myself not to go. Ive walked out of this store without buying anything more than I have walked out with a purchase.

I drove 6 miles to get a Ph aquarium test kit, (the most important product for aquariums) you guessed it they were out of stock. Sales person stated that he probably has this item in the stock room but didnt have time to check. Disapointed, so I purchased this same item on Ebay and saved $2.00 plus free shipping.

Petco needs to stop letting people bring their dogs inside the store. I witnessed on 15JAN16 a dog pissing on merchandise. That person never said anything to the store clerk and now some unexpecting customer will buy that product. I imagine this kind of incident happens in many other Petco stores.

Best place to go if you want solid aquatic supplies. They carry Fluvial canisters, which I needed badly! My fish and I are very thankful for that! They do carry a wide range of animals as well. The staff are helpful knowledgeable, and keep the animals healthy.

The staff is amazing and they have great selections on pet food and toys. I adopted my sweet kitty here, they partner with Paws and Prayers, a local animal shelter. Also bought a baby corn snake from here as well and it was in perfect health!

Fair prices, friendly staff, dont loose your card if you purchased multiple dog bags using the self service bays because they have no way of pulling up your information and youre just out of the money.
