I took Holly, my young Sheltie, to both puppy courses offered by Krystal. Through Krystals patience and guidance, Holly learned all the basic commands. The free puppy playtimes offered Holly opportunities to interact with other young dogs and helped her develop self-confidence. I would highly recommend owners of puppies under six months to register for Krystals classes. Her upbeat personality and willingness to offer make-up classes that pups may have to miss for spaying or other emergencies, plus her experience and understanding of dogs make her a valuable instructor. Krystal continues to answer my questions and offer helpful training suggestions when I see her in the store. I have taken Holly to the stores groomers, and they, too, are very experienced and caring. They gave Holly her first nail trims, and did them gently to avoid traumatizing her. They also groomed Holly for the first time, and she looked beautiful and smelled like cookies afterward! The Petco card is another benefit that saves me money on products, food, and grooming. Additionally, when I find a product I want on the Petco website offered at a lower price, the store honors that price. I am a very satisfied customer.

I have two dogs, a Coton de Tulear and a Maltese. We keep their hair about medium length and they are pretty matted, so we typically cut them pretty short. We took the Coton here once and had Crystal as a groomer and she was great. She talked to us about exactly what we wanted, took care of our dog and was very gracious. However, this time we took both dogs and had a horrible experience. Groomer Angelica took our dogs and was just incredibly rude, talked to us as if we were second graders, had to have the last word and wouldnt stop trying to explain to us "how matted our dogs were" and continued to say she couldnt do anything with them. Weve had groomers in the past say "your dogs are very matted but well do our absolute best with them and keep the hair as long as possible" and we understand that, no problem! Angelica just kept persisting "we have to shave him" and even suggested we go home and "try to brush him first" before she touched our dog. 45 minutes after drop off, she had us come pick the dog up and continued with her condescending banter. Other employees were nice and tried to compensate for her behavior, but we wont be taking our dogs back.

Ive had my older dog, 8.5 years old, groomed here twice and she has looked good both times! We took our 5 month old puppy the second time our older dog went because he needed his nails cut desperately! I was afraid he would cry when they cut his nails and made sure they knew he would be nervous about it. They reassured me they understood since hes a puppy and would do their best to not scare him! I believe the girl who worked on him was named Angelica. She was so nice and told me how he did cry and definitely was not a fan of the nail trim. But she still seemed understanding and did her best to make him feel comfortable! Ive been to other locations and I definitely think they are the nicest I have experienced! The facility is clean and new and you can even see into the grooming area. We also attended a puppy play date here and everyone seemed really nice who went! Our puppy was the smallest by far but he got a good play out of it. Were starting training there in 2 weeks with Krystal and are really looking forward to it!

This is my primary pet shop for food, treats, toys, and grooming for my dog. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Its never too busy and the other customers are also great. They keep the aquarium tanks and small pet tanks clean! I will say that the back of the store always seems to have stuff in the way, as if theyre always restocking. However, they typically always seem to have what I need.

Stopped by to buy a new dog bed. While we were checking out we saw the pet groomer being very aggressive to a golden retriever. She yelled at it, grabbed its arm and slammed its down on the table. The dog had been lifting its hand up like it was doing the "paw" or "shake" command. Her reaction was completely over the top. Get an employee who wont get aggressive when a dog acts like a dog.

We absolutely love the Petco at Town & Country. We purchase food, treats, and schedule grooming appointments easily at this location for our dog. The staff has always been friendly and helpful- nothing has really changed since they moved over from Oakwood.

Love what theyve done with the area. Very nice and helpful staff. Carries merrick brand food
