I was in the store June 10th 2016 around 1:00-1:45. While trying to figure out which line to go to at checkout today, one of the two cashiers available looked up at me and said "Im closed so I dont know why you are looking over here." I proceed to go to the other girl and check out and the experience was just as bad with her. Sign on the dog food aisle states you get 2 free cans of dog food when you buy a bag of purina dry food. I ask her if that will apply for both of the bags I am buying and she tells me no pretty rudely. Then while Im just standing there, since she hasnt said anything I ask if I need to go get the canned food and she gets an attitude and is like uh yeah.. (sorry I cant read your mind) So I go get the two cans and come back and ask if there is a specific reason why I can not get all four cans. She doesnt answer and just starts punching stuff into the computer. Apparently the canned food I got wouldnt scan so she says "Is this even the right food" and I say "Yes, it says any purina pro health canned food." She walks away for around 5 minutes and comes back with the same cans, and scans them and has figured it out. She then tells me I can go get two more cans. After not answering me and telling me I couldnt get all four cans. She obviously did not know what she was doing or the rules and just told me no because she didnt know how to do it and was too lazy to go ask anyone. I have worked in customer service for years, and I know it is tough sometimes but this is unacceptable. People should not have these jobs if they arent going to act right. Looks like you need to be looking for some more associates, PetSmart.

The Banfield Hospital @ Petsmart: Five years ago I was searching for a new vet and a friend told me Banfield gave excellent care. Not only do they give excellent care but, their prices are more than reasonable. Actually cheaper than other vets I had been to. I had an Alaskan Husky named Kal that I loved dealy! He was doing pretty good at 13 1/2 but, another dog came at him to play and he tried to run but, he fell and severely injured his hip. He couldnt walk anymore. He was in so much pain that I couldnt even touch him without him screaming in pain. It was one of the most awful experiences that I have ever been through. I knew my time was up with him. Anyways, my brother and I got him into the car and took him to Banfield. They immediately came to the curb with a gurney and took their time to get Kal out of my car. They easily put it under him and strapped him in. He didnt yelp or cry once. I was amazed at the great care they took for my boy! They made one of the most difficult days of my life a little more bearable. My dog passed away 3 weeks ago and, I felt it in my heart to write how great Banfield has been to Kal and I! I thouroughly appreciate your love of animals and the care you all give. They also sent a heart felt card that was very sincere! Thanks for what you do Banfield and God bless ya!

To begin to tell you of the horror that my newly adopted dog suffered in the hands of a pet groomer at this petsmart location would take all day but lets just say this - I WOULD NOT recommend that you take your pet to this petsmart for grooming at all. Thank God that there there is an animal hospital right next door that took care of my poor little boy when they chopped off his ear. The vet tried to re-attach it using surgical glue but it came off a day later and he now has a permanent gash. To add insult to injury no one followed up to see how my dog was doing and that was the most appaling thing in the world! Did I mention that it took them 1 hour from the time the incident occured to call and tell me that he was bleeding to death? and the guy responsible was NOT APOLOGETIC at all - he stated to me "as a matter of fact" - his ear had been accidentally cut off and then handed me off to a manager to deal with me. SO NO.. I HATE THESE PEOPLE AND WHAT THEY DID TO MY DOG! I hate to use their names here but lets just say that I would BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS WHEN TAKING MY DOG or any other pet to this location for any type of Grooming.

MAGGOT INFESTED DOG FOOD! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I have been a loyal PetSmart customer for many years, feeding my dog nothing but Authority brand dog food. I recently relocated to the area from Athens (LOVE the PetSmart there) and my first visit here was horrible. I went to the back and picked up a bag of Authority and when I got to the counter I discovered that it (and now me) were covered in maggots. When I asked the associate for help, she asked why I hadnt gone back and gotten a different bag. Dont bother asking for the manager - her reaction wasnt much better. Finally I left angry and emptyhanded and bought food at PetCo instead. It is negligent and irresponsible not to check the stock for an issue like this, and when presented with this issue, you should be nothing but cordial and reassuring.

The staff at the grooming facility here isnt very professional. I just adopted a dog from the shelter thats heartworm positive. I called up there to make an appointment to get her groomed and told them that I just adopted her. They never said anything about not taking a dog that was heartworm positive, so I lugged her up there, waited 15 minutes after her appointment time before someone checked us in, all for them to tell me that they werent going to take her because she was heartworm positive. Heartworms are not contagious. Dogs get them from infected mosquitoes . If you want to be overly cautious, fine. But dont wait until I go all the way up there and wait 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time to ask me if she has any issues and then tell me you cant take her. Annoying

Brittney is very rude an intentionally ignores customers worst PetSmart Guinea pig lady was nice UPDATE: Brittney called 911 because I showed here I left a 1 star review with her name store managers have the right to do no tresspass an she accused me of screaming Brittney I feel sorry for you are a spiteful woman you win I forgive all your lies have a blessed day an hopefully you learn to treat customers with respect an dignity. IF THEY TREAT PEOPLE THIS WAY HERE IMAGINE WHAT THEY DO TO YOUR PETS AND I HAVE HEARD FEEDING THEM MAGGOTS AND CUTTING OFF THEYRE BODY PARTS WHILE TALKING TO THERE BOYFRIEND! Oops I am sorry your dog cant hear now Greg said I was cute :D.

I spoke to Trent in the Pet Hotel. If you ever have a problem with anything, just ask for Trent. He is amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure my Pit Bull was happy in the hotel. I was encouraged to call whenever I needed to. Trent didnt ever seem annoyed with the numerous times I checked on my girl. He would patiently discuss the day. He is very knowledgable about the animals in the hotel. I cannot say enough positive things about him. He is an asset to the store. I hope they realize his dedication to the animals.
