Motohio is a no-worries class act. I have been wanting a new Triumph for some time now. Although the new 16 models look terrific, I wanted one of the last air-cooled vertical twins and Dave could not have made the purchase experience any easier. Thank you Dave! I purchased my 15 Thruxton in November of last year and immediately took advantage of Motohios off-site storage program. Over the winter I wanted to purchase a few custom parts. Chris was very informative and helpful with the upgrade purchases and provided me a 10% customer discount. Thank you Chris! This Spring I stopped in the day before I was to pick up my new bike to say that my transportation help had cancelled and I would be forced to trailer the motorcycle home. My new Thruxton with fork gaiters, tank pads, skid plate....etc, looked amazing! At the time, I was still waiting on Norman Hyde classic silencers and I told Chris that I would have them installed during my first service appointment. What I did not know is later that day my silencers arrived at the shop. When I showed up the next day with a trailer and Kirk brought my Thruxton out of the shop with the silencers installed I nearly fell out on the pavement. Gilbert told me that when the silencers arrived he insisted they install them right away. Thank you Gilbert! Kirk not only secured the bike to the trailer, he also provided additional tie-down straps for support. Thank you Kirk! I have just returned from my first 500-mile service appointment. My Thruxton Black Phantom runs and sounds spot-on!! I could not be happier and would highly recommend any future customers to take the time to stop in at Motohio. The showroom alone is worth a visit to just look around. There are plenty of BMW, Ducati, others....., and of course..., Triumph motorcycles to view. On the morning of my service appointment the new MOTUS motorcycles arrived. I want to thank Fred also for test-riding my bike and the service mechanics I have not yet met. I thank the ENTIRE staff really for again....., a no-worries class act! Todd

I used the contact us feature on the website Friday night and had an email waiting for me when I woke up on Saturday... I was really busy all day Saturday and didnt get around to calling until 425pm the same day. The dealer was closed at 4 but sure enough a man named Dave Russell answered the phone and seemed happy to help answer all of my questions. I hadnt even bought my new bike yet but if I got that kind of treatment when the place is closed I wondered how much better it would be when they were actually open. This was going to be my first super bike purchase so I had no idea what to expect insurance wise. I got some quotes and they were insanely high. I called Dave and he immediately emailed me a few insurance companies numbers to try. To make this long story a little shorter lets just say Dave went way out of his way to get me into this s1000rr for a price I was very happy to pay. I couldnt beat the final price on the bike so I drove from Pittsburgh 3 hours away to get my new bike. When I got to MOTOHIO I saw my bike on the showroom floor with a big sold sign on it and finally met Dave face to face. I signed all my paperwork which was already made up and only needed to be signed and was right outside with Dave as he showed me all the features and functions of my new ride. I honestly dont know why anyone would go anywhere else to buy a bike. Completely professional and over the top helpful dealer. I will recommend MOTOHIO to everyone I know and ride with. I also feel as well as I was treated here I owe them my service appointments also so I will gladly make the trip to get my bike serviced here also! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Ive been going to Motohio for several years and salivating over all the eye candy. Their showroom is something to experience. I have several family members who ride Euro bikes and bring them by when they are in town. I pulled the trigger on a 2014 BMW R1200GS and took delivery in the spring of that year. I had the bike built to spec with Mike helping me select the best options for my needs. The wait was agonizing. Motohio did the first service while I waited. I used the bike for a 4500 mile trip across Labrador (Translab Highway) and into Newfoundland and back last summer. The bike was flawless. I used the 10% parts /accessory discount to buy the supplies for the 6000 miles service which I performed myself. The bike is currently in their service department for its 12000 mile service. Ill let the professionals handle the valve train while the bike is under warranty. One other great thing about Motohio is their presence at local events like Euro bike night and their staff hanging out at the annual Progressive Motorcycle show in Cleveland. I have a friend from church and a coworker who have also shared wonderful experiences. Highly recommend!

I brought my K1200rs from Dayton in for a 70K mile service (I think that was the mileage), and left it. When I was told it was ready, I found that they had not taken care of the front brakes as promised. The gave me the parts and apologized for missing that detail. When I got home, it turned out they had given me the wrong pads for the bike. They said they would send the correct ones and asked that I ship the wrong ones back. In the mean time, I looked at my bike and noticed that there were things missing, like the wide pad on my kickstand, or that my fog lights no longer worked. The may have serviced the bike, and are very nice when I call and ask about what happened, but I have little confidence that the work was done correctly. Im looking for a different/better shop closer to Dayton.

Dropped off my 1999 BMW R1100R a few weeks ago for service shifting issues and a rear drive leak. Within seconds Gilbert (Jober) said, "Ill bet your non-BMW shifter is causing problems as it is contacting the side stand." I didnt even know it wasnt OEM shifter! I had to trailer the bike, but Harry was right out there unloading the bike for me. Anytime I am in the shop for service, parts or just to see what is on the floor I am always met by Elizabeth, Dave or Ann. No pressure to buy anything, just genuinely friendly people who know their bikes. Everyone is a pleasure to talk to and they all seem to get along and joke with each other. I would say that they take their work, but not themselves too seriously.

I have had mixed experiences with this dealership since 2009, and am going to try the Indianapolis Ducati dealer going forward. The owner of Motohio needs a wake up call. Had service writer suggest I replace my Multistrada clutch at 7500 miles just on general principals (still fine at 15K). Had someone who sounded like a young female recently answer the parts line and disinterestedly took my request for an optional equipment part---never called me back about it. The Indianapolis dealer took my call with a friendly hello and two days later confirmed he would get my two parts and ship them to me in Cincinnati. I do however, have great satisfaction with and respect for Motohios service techs.

I have purchasded three bikes in 4 years from Motohio and still have them serviced there. I love the atmosphere of the family owned business. I have been dealing with the same people, both family and others, the entire time so follow up to questions is superb. The selection of bikes...quite expensive floor plan I suspect...is like going to a fine motorcycle show. There is good talent in the service and the diagnosis and correction of problems has been great. The enthusiasm for both road and off road which all of the employees have is refreshing. Pick any great riding road or trail within 500 miles of Columbus...one of the people has been there.
