I cant agree with all these positive reviews. I had a buddy wanting to take his older Kawasaki up there, but after the job they did with my Suzuki, I had to stop him. It didnt bother me that the bike took four weeks to fix. It didnt bother me that I had to drive to Cleveland from Uniontown with my Suzuki GS650E in the back of a U-Haul since I have no truck. Hell, it didnt even bother me that everything bike I looked at in POC was overpriced and trust me, every bike for sale in there is at premium price. What bothered me was the fact that when I got the bike back, my parents had it delivered back to Uniontown for my birthday (God bless them.) for about $100 dollars. I get back from work one day to discover my bike! Ready to run (or so I hoped.) Little to my dismay, they had delivered the bike, BUT WITHOUT THE KEYS. A rather big annoyance, but they did ship my keys which I received in 2 business days. So I get the keys back and after dropping it off for a check over the electrical system (stator wouldnt get power to turn the bike over) I was told nothing was wrong with anything like that and my battery just needed charged along with some other extremely minor things. So after the first day of riding, Im still having the same issue with the bike. Cant turn the motor over with the push button, have to push start it. What a BIG WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. I took my Suzuki to a "real" motorcycle shop that specializes in vintage jap bikes, Action Sport Suzuki in Alliance, Ohio. They are 20 times the vintage motorcycle shop that POC is. My mechanic at Action Sport (Mike) who also handled my carburetors rebuild, rejetting and synch, told me the stator and regulator were fried. When I picked my bike up from Action Sport he showed me the parts and they were literally fried. No other way to put it. What it comes down to is this. Did Pride of Cleveland even check the charging system like I requested? MOST LIKELY NOT. I wasted my time, I wasted my money, I tried to give them a chance. I learned the hard way to STICK WITH REPUTABLE VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE REPAIR SHOPS - Action Sport Suzuki (will handle any older Jap bike you can throw at them) and the same goes for Spikes Motorcycles in Canton. Overall, EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. It sucks because the shop is beautiful, looks all retro and everything. The area it is in is neat too, but the only reason Ill be going back to Lakewood is to eat at the Harry Buffalo and thats it. If you are thinking about having a bike taken here for service, constantly check on it, ask detailed questions, make surprise visits. I did all those things and was a little too nice about everything. Well even a year later after my experience with them, Im still harboring bad feelings about it all. Wont ever get my money let alone attention again and Ill speak up against them any chance I get to a fellow vintage motorcyclist.

So, you know how you have a great weather day, the chores are done, nothing in front of you but miles of glorious riding, and then you do something SO stupid its like scratching the side of your Veyron with a key? Yeah, I dont have one of those either but a boy can dream. I screwed up good but the day was saved because of a very generous fellow motorcyclist at Cleveland Moto in Lakewood by the name of James, or as I refer to him, my new BFF. Went to Breadsmith for breakfast and managed to not only leave my key in the ignition but left the lights on. Sometimes Im not a smart man. Soooo, I get outside and the combination of hottest day of the year with an already stressed battery and there was absolutely no joy when trying to start her up. What to do, what to do. As 1) I was 15 miles from home and 2) didnt want to hear about it for a couple of weeks from my considerably better half, I decided to walk to Cleveland Moto and beg their help. I offered to pay whatever my sins would cost me. A man named James immediately said, "No problem..." and got some tools and a spare battery together and met me back at my bike. Within a few minutes Snagglepuss (you got a problem with that??) roared to life and once again all was well in my world. I offered James every bit of the cash I had in my pocket but he firmly refused it. I could not express to him and cannot to you, reader, how very grateful I was for his generous and swift assistance. James said, "Just pay it forward..." and I promised I would. Thank you, James, for your kindness, time, and expertise. And, thank you, Cleveland Moto for hiring such a cool guy. So, imagine, if THIS is how they treat you when you DONT spend money there, how do they treat you when you do? I have to believe pretty damn great.

My Vespa LXV150 was stalling and not running well. I tried a local dealer for service and he kept it for a month and said he did the the work under Vespas warranty. It was not fixed and the warranty had expired. A friend told me he was taking his scooter to Pride of Cleveland in Lakewood and could transport mine also. They were great to deal with and kept me aware of what they found and asked me for approval of repairs before proceeding. When I got the bike back after Thanksgiving and eventually rode it there was still a problem. I called and they said not to worry they would come to Canton and pick up the scooter and trouble shoot it. They found an intermittent fuel pump problem (hard to detect) and replaced it and straightened up some fuel lines replaced by the other dealer. Phil, the owner returned my scooter and said there were no additional charges, he just wanted to see me satisfied and confident to ride my Vespa. Renae and James were great to work with at POC and I will not hesitate to recommend them and service my scooter there.

To bad they are the only place to get a Moto Guzzi fixed or parts. Fixed it myself. Works perfect, just like factory original! I tried getting it fixed some place else. If you buy a Moto Guzzi, you better be able to do your own repairs or take it hard in the arse from the only guy in town . I was quoted $800. to replace a brake line that cost $17.00 and took a couple hours. At least if you buy a more common bike, there are more choices to get it repaired. I could of fixed it I just wanted to hand it over to some one I thought knew what they were doing. If you need a tire changed do not pay $300, take it off the bike yourself, go to Tire Depot in Willoughby. They will put the new one on the rim for $30. I bought the tire off the internet. Tire depot did a perfect job. It was a front tire, had the bike up past 100 no wobbbles!!! It was a Michelin.

I had stopped in to look at a Kymco scooter. I had known Phil for many years from various motorcycle shows and was excited to buy from him. He turned me over to Rene. Rene told me the Kymco I was interested in would have to be prepped for a test ride. No problem. Only after her promising to call me back, and me calling her several times over the course of one month, nothing was done. I just wanted to check out its ride before I bought it. Rene always had a reason why it wasnt done. I didnt talk to Phil because there is no point in making a stink about things. I bought it someplace else. And a second one for my son. Phil is a great guy and his shop is slick but dont bother dealing with Rene.
