There are several things I would rather do (like stab my eyes with a soldering iron, or try and swallow a handful of nails) then ever purchase something from this place again. I had a run around (detailed below) from every part of this company, especially the financing department. Let me start by saying I loved the bike I found there, the price was right and they took my old street bike on trade, from there the nightmare begins.. First, I bought the bike at the IX Center Motorcycle Show and when they transported it back from the show they damaged the brake rotos and air cleaner. Second, upon admitting they damaged the bike it took almost 3 weeks to "get the parts" to fix it. Third, financing couldnt seem to get one thing right, I kept having to produce more and more paperwork, most in fact were doubles of things they already had. Fourth, once the deal was finally done, all the paperwork was dated for a the wrong year, so nothing was accepted by the bank. Fifth, upon realizing they messed up all my paperwork I came back to resign a new contract (The first payment is now due in 10 days). I asked for an account # to make my payment and never heard back again. Last, my payment (now due in 3 days) still had no account number attached, nor had I received a bill, or even a phone call for that matter. When I called them the finance managaer became very defensive claiming to have contacted me multiple times. When I called her out on her lie, she hung up the phone on me.. finally after speaking to store manager, I was able to get the account # to pay my bill..

I would rate it a ZERO if it would let me! Once....and only once did we ever take my bikes in to get serviced there. After having our two bikes sit all winter long, we took them to State 8 for a simple tune-up (plugs, air filter, oil change, carb cleaning). We got our bikes home after running rough the entire ride home...took them to another shop just to find out the State 8 mechanics didnt hook the vacuum lines up correctly (on one bike) and didnt put the spark plug wire back one spark plug (on the other bike). Being one of the only places around to buy used bikes, I reluctantly went back in to buy one. The sales people are the worst Ive ever encountered!! I went in 3 different times (with cash in hand) to buy a bike and couldnt get a single sales person to help me. Not like the store was full of people either, maybe 3 to 5 other customers in the whole store each visit. The last time I waited almost 45 minutes and not one person came over to help me. I ended up buying a brand NEW bike from Rich Roush. Dont even get me started on the Parts department...absolutely HORRIBLE service! I could have found more knowledgeable people at Walmart. I now buy all my parts online...CHEAPER pricing by almost 45%. So Thanks State 8 for saving me a ton of money now!!!

We drove 1 1/2 hours to look at a used CanAm Spyder which was advertised as a SE5, semi-automatic transmission. The bike was an SM5 manual transmission, which was of no value to us. Wasted time and money because the dealership doesnt even know its own inventory. 5 minutes on NADA would have given them the correct info. . The salesperson tried to use the excuse that they are not a CanAm dealer. Obviously, they are not professional or knowledgeable enough to even know what they have when it comes to used vehicles. This incident happened at the Medina store and we have gotten no response from the manager regarding this issue. I wouldnt recommend the store here as they obviously are not very well informed about motorcycles. Update to this review - The owner contscted us with an apology and reimbursed us for the expenses we incurred and for our wasted time. I would consider them in the future and we are willing to give them another chance. They seem sincere in their desire to do a good job.

Thanks for everything. I was a little nervous about my first bike purchase. I purchased my Ninja and stored it at State 8 until I was done with the beginner course. (I made special visits over the long winter to check on it). I took the course on the cruiser supplied by State 8. I am impressed that the staff at State 8 know this can be high anxiety purchase, but they were incredibly patient. Sanjeev went over my entire bike with me and showed me all the parts. Savanna helped me go through the accessories and recommendations. I really want to thank Blain for meeting with me and talking about the ideal bike for a first timer. I feel very confident that I made a good choice and would recommend that you consider State 8 for not only your bike purchase, but the beginner course. Willie and Harry were great instructors and the class was interactive and WOW I learned a lot! Already looking for bike # 2! Still has that mom and pop bike shop feel and yet its huge!

I drove 280 miles through a snow storm to purchase a bike Lou had held for me. I was not disappointed. This place is impressive to say the least. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and hurried to get the bike loaded on my truck and me headed back home. Blaine did a great job strapping down my bike. 280 miles, 0 degrees, 35mph winds through blinding snow and the bike never budged. I can not thank him enough. Lou was great to work with. The amount of communication was perfect and he even followed up with me to make sure I made it home safe. I only wish they were closer. I will never hesitate to use them again and may for a future Honda purchase. The amount of knowledge, inventory and prices I dont know why anyone would go anywhere else.

I was told by a close friend of mine to visit State 8. This is where he had purchased his motorcycle and said that the service and value was unbeatable. I was in the market for a starter Sport-bike. After arriving to State 8 I was not rushed with salesmen hassling me or trying to make a quick sale, instead I was approached by a great man named Shawn H. roughly 5-10 minutes after browsing through. He asked me what I was looking for and after sitting on and talking about several bikes, I sat down to sign the paperwork for a new 2013 Honda CBR 500R. Overall 5 stars and great service. Honestly unbeatable. I would highly highly recommend this to anyone reading this or thinking to stop on in.

This was my first experience buying a motorcycle-Michael was fantastic! He let me get the feel of several different bikes prior to making a decision and there was no pressure for time or commitment. Not only was he professional, he was also personable! The very next day or two my boyfriend couldnt wait to contact Michael regarding a trade in on an Aprilia. The process for both of us was convenient, easygoing, and stress free! We both had a great experience with State 8 and all of the employees! We both LOVED Shannon as well! Shes awesome! We both work in the auto and sales industries-very impressed with our purchases at State 8. I will be going back when Im ready to upgrade!
