Perhaps the worst experience Ive ever had. Ive been riding for 25 years, since I was 14. Ive owned about 14 bikes in all, from dirt bikes to sport bikes and standards. Never had much use for a cruiser butI entertained the notion for the lady who wanted something different. Ended up realizing this place was awful and I went to Gulf Coast Motorcycles and got a Ducati Sport Classic instead. From the moment I got in the store to the time I spent checking out the repair bay, nothing was on an even keel. The sales force was a lot more interested in selling me what they wanted than in discussing what I wanted, the owner Ralph was an insufferable know it all who spent additional time discussing his opinions on things that had nothing to do with why I was there. I was informed later by a member of the staff that was halfway decent that Ralph was a retired Florida sheriff, which would explain a lot. Ultimately, the sales force attempted to sell me their bikes by combining a lot of macho garbage with an assessment of me as a middle aged guy looking for an ego bike, and proceeded to run down virtually every other brand of bike. Yes, Im aware that Harley is an American brand, but lets be clear, Ive owned everything from A - Z in the bike world and there are good models in every makers chest. Then I went in the repair bay, which is not what you want to see. Im used to seeing my mechanics, a small shop of guys who fix, build and race their own bikes and pay for it by being expert mechanics as well as good guys. This Harley dealership has nothing but kids out of the bike mechanic tech school with a year or two of experience and no appreciation for the fact that theyre working on someone elses property. Theres no respect for the equipment, the tools, or the customer. While I was there the guys were joking about everything from which customers wife was fattest based on the pillion seat compression to which customer polished his bike more than riding it, and perhaps more disconcerting, which Harley models were the most "crap". In the end, the sales force sucked, the owner was an opinionated fool, and the repair bay was appalling. I realized Id been lucky to dodge such a bad purchase and I ended up going down to Gulf Coast Motorcycles where I picked up a Ducati Sport Classic 1000. Its perhaps the best bike Ive owned in all my years. I got lucky. Dont go here.

I dropped my 2016 iron 883 (which I bought there a few months ago) off for a warranty issue. The engine was ticking very loudly. As soon as I got there, I told Korena, the service manager, about the issue and about my 2yr warranty on my brand new bike. She refused to tell me itd be covered under warranty and kept saying "well have to see". They called me back after a few hours and told me that the engine was low on oil. They acted on the phone as of this is a perfectly normal thing (bike has 3600 miles). They recommended that I get an oil change but I told them that I didnt want to get an oil change, they offered to top me off. According to them, the miraculous disappearance of oil was normal. They never told me that it wasnt covered under warranty or that it would cost me anything considering I didnt authorize them to do any work that would cost me anything. Prices were never disclosed. When I get there to pick up the bike , the same rude lady KORENA avoided me and proceeded to make calls instead of helping me. Finally when I addressed her she proceeded to tell me it would cost $100 but she gave me a $50 coupon. I told her I shouldnt pay when you never disclosed to me that I had to pay to have anything done. She got extremely rude and got an attitude. Needless to say I wont be going to six bends again. BLACK WIDOW HERE I COME. She made me uncomfortable and was disrespectful. She told me to take my bike elsewhere and that shes not cool with me not paying for work. Well Im not cool with you charging without disclosure. Dont work on a bike until you have authorization to charge. Scott Fischer, get your staff in line bro.

I can honestly say that all of the employees at 6 Bends H.D. were absolutely awesome when I went in to purchase my first trike, an H.D. Freewheeler. Aaron the Sales Manager told me that he would match prices with any other HD dealer, and he did. A man of his word. After I bought my trike he followed up to make sure that all was good to go. Kevin my salesman was straight up and no B.S., he told me everything that I needed to know and he also followed up after my purchase. He showed me exactly how to operate my trike. J.W. the Finance Manager was thorough and efficient. He explained, step by step, every detail in simple terms. No nonsense, straight up. Don the Service Manager called to let me know that my trike was ready to be picked up and asked if I have any questions. Will the Mechanic gave me a great orientation. He was thorough, patient and easy to understand. I couldnt grasp entering the pin # and even though the service department was busy Will stayed with me until I got it. Another example of the great employees at 6 Bends H.D.. Ryan & Brodie took the time to go thru all of the options that were available for me to purchase a fairing. We ended up setting up a new distributorship for Fairings (Reckless). Ryan & Brodie are the best Parts Guys! My Battery died on Wednesday morning. I called Service and Travis set up a pick up within an hour. A half hour later Big Willie was at my house and loaded my Trike on a trailer. By 4:00 pm I had my Trike back. Travis & Big Willie were great examples of the great service we get at 6 Bends. I highly recommend 6 Bends H.D. to anyone looking to purchase a new H.D. motorcycle.

**UPDATE** 08/27 Now TWO Weeks after sending a personal and confidential letter to the owner about what occurred at his dealership....NOT a single bit of communication of ANY Type. TOTAL LACK of concern for previous LOYAL customers. What a pathetic company!!!! I BOUGHT my Ultra Limited from the Ft. Myers Dealer when they were on Colonial Blvd. Was TOTALLY taken care of by Ralph and John!! Now they have become $$$ SIX BENDS $$$ where the ONLY thing they care about is $$$$$$...NOT Customers. I recently experienced a VERY POOR service and installation there a few weeks ago. Not ONLY did they try to OVERCHARGE me, they put parts on that I did NOT authorize and also tried to charge me for reconnecting my LED lights that THEY disconnected!!! I was called for a survey of my experience. I unloaded on them and was called 2 hours later by their "new" service manager. This person tried to BUY BACK my loyalty by offering me an $800 (YES...$800) gift card (which she said had ALREADY been APPROVED)...no stings attached to be picked up this Saturday. An hour after I ended my call with her, I receive a call from their GM. I am now getting the INQUISITION wanting to know what was wrong. Within the course of 90 minutes...They try to BUY BACK my Loyalty with an $800 Gift Card and then RENEGED on the deal offering NOTHING but EMPTY Apologies. It may be farther to drive to BERTS BLACK WIDOW Harley-Davidson in Port Charlotte but I am WILLING to make the drive to do my business with people that CARE about their CUSTOMERS over the almighty dollar. SERIOUSLY!!!! You CANNOT make this stuff up!!!
