Nightmare Gave Opportunity for Great Customer Service The day before Id returned a jacket to the Cotswold Marshalls. I didnt have the receipt but they still had the jacket in stock so it was an easy return; they gave me a $64 gift card for the value. No problemo - I love Marshalls and knew Id have no problem "spending the $64 on a subsequent visit. The following day i stopped by the Metropolitan Marshalls on my way to a luncheon. I dont go to this location much and found it cleaner and more airy to wander through, but not as rich in clearance finds. I took my couple of items to the front. There was a long line. Boo. But within 30 seconds a PA announcement requested additional clerks to the front and like a flash three more registers opened. Impressive! My clerk rang me up efficiently, chatting in a friendly way about some admittedly weird LED Easter lights I was purchasing. I tried to use my gift card. Then the problems began. Long story short: Marshalls (nationwide) had just switched ot a new gift card vendor and the system was failing miserably. My card showed a zero balance. Fortunately i had the gift card receipt. My clerk immediately turned the matter over to a mid-level manager. She began making calls. In the meantime, a higher level manager stopped by to check progress. The two agreed on a coordinated plan of attack, calling various Marshalls customer support simultaneously. Meanwhile, i had to leave for my luncheon. Both managers apologized profusely and said theyd continue to work on the issue. I promised to return in two hours. When i returned in two hours both of the same managers were on hand and were confident they had procedures to handle it. (And theyd saved the merchandise i was purchasing.) Sadly, no dice. Still showed a zero balance. The higher manager said she wanted to offer me a 10% discount for my trouble. (Unfortunatley my merch. only totalled $42 so the $10 discount was insignificant!) Both continued to make phone calls, apologized profusely, and were clearly embarrassed. After another 30 minutes i was out of time and said id just pay cash, but was about to be out of town for a month, and what did they suggest as resolution. By now the main store manager had also been made aware. Though he never appeared (which would have seemed appropriate) i was given his name, and that of the mid-level person whod been helping. She asked me to please come back in after my trip as by then theyd be past the transition to the new vendor and would surely be able to resolve it. I countered, "Tell you what. Since I rarely come by this particular store, Ill leave the card with you, and my address. When i return from vacay in a month, i would like to have either a new gift card or a check for the $64 in my mail." So, Im giving 4 stars now for what seemed like a high dedication to solving the problem, even though it was actually a Marshalls problem! But if they dont follow through with a replacement card or check, Ill revisit this in a month! Meanwhile, I still love the ecletic mix of merchandise at Marshalls, and the excitement of finding occasional fantastic bargains!

This review is for the horrible service with the cashiers. I was checking out on 12/28/16 around 2:30pm and the cashier accused me of cutting in line even though the person behind me stated I was in line in front of her! The cashier did not want to assist in checking me out. Extremely unprofessional. I shop here often and have never had an experience like this.

I really like this location. Most suburban Marshalls are picked over and have a ton of people always milling around. This location has great home items and furnishings along with clothing. I find things here that I just dont see at the others.

Looks just like all the rest of the Marshalls around the u.s they are a mess but always good finds. Love bargan shopping but getting good things is my fav thing to do.

Located on the third level of the building, it is a pretty standard Marshalls but their mens section was not as expansive as others that I have been to.
