I am absolutely HORRIFIED by my experience with this pet store. I purchased a parakeet from Pet Supermarket and the poor thing died 18 days later. As an experienced owner who has owned birds from parrotlets to eclectus parrots, I am absolutely certain that the death could not have been because of something Ive done. Since I own other birds, my home is bird proof (appropriate temp., no safety hazards, no room scents), I had an appropriate cage with safe toys, and was slowly transitioning the bird to a diet of pellets and clean fruits/veggies once he had adjusted to the environment. And keep in mind Ive had this bird for less than 3 weeks! The vet told me that the bird very likely had been infected before I bought him, and instructed me to inform this store that the other parakeets may be sick. I did so, and received an apathetic response. DO NOT BUY ANY ANIMAL FROM THIS STORE, especially when it only comes with a pathetic 7-day warranty that doesnt cover any vet bills, but instead offers you a replacement animal that is likely also unwell. I am so, so disappointed. I had bonded with my new bird in such a short period of time, but his life had to end because of the neglect of those who reassured me, "all of our birds are healthy". This has been a learning experience for me and I hope others will not make the same mistake that I did.

Some things just reveal what a franchise is all about. We shop here regularly, and have earned the "1 free bag of dogfood" for buying 10 of them. What they dont tell you is that they will send you a postcard that you must bring in to get your free bag. If you lose or misplace the postcard, no freebie. Oh, and the postcard expires in a about 2 weeks, so you better use it quickly. Oh, and one more thing, you have to PAY the TAX on your free bag of dog food. Its like, "OK, well give you your dang bag of dog food, but we dont really want to. You are going to have to work for it, do it just how we like you to do it, and we want a few bucks from you anyway. We cant have customers that are TOO satisfied..." Why dont they just make it good only on leap days? Cheap cheap cheap cheap cheap. (Or is it cheep?)

Not professional service. I went in to get a specific type of freshwater fish and spoke with a woman in that department who appeared to be in a managerial position. She tried to inform me that what they carried was indeed what I was looking for, and after a quick look I knew it was not. Sadly I am accustomed to franchise stores selling aquatic species and having sales reps in that department know very little about the hobby, but this woman went above and beyond. She actually mocked me while I stood there deliberating on purchasing some additional livestock. The way she conducted herself was extremely unprofessional and and makes the store look very bad. Im new to the area and was looking for a good store to conduct my business, but it will not be this one after that experience.

I am disgusted by my experience with this pet store. I purchased a hamster from them a while back and noticed that the cages were small and overcrowded. Especially with the bunnies there were 4 rabbits in a 2-3 sq ft space. After purchasing my hamster sadly it only lived for 2 weeks due to a skin condition I purchased it with. I have been back a couple times after that and on one occasion I witnessed a women complain that the guinea pigs didnt have enough hay (which is extremely important for there health) . Once she left the store employees bad mouthed and insulted her quite loudly. I am sickened by the conditions pets are kept in and the staff, will not be returning here.

Be Aware! Went in for a female hamster. Asked specifically if she was pregnant and was told no way. Well two weeks later she had a litter of 15 hamsters. My daughter is now attached to mother so we need to buy other cages and try to sell babies. On top of that he put the hamster in a cardboard box that was so thin it eat its way out of it in two minutes as we were on the road. Would never go back to that store or buy from them again.

Love this place. Came across it by chance (right next to a grocery store we shop at) After having gone to other Pet stores to prepare for our puppy, loved the atmosphere of this place. SUPER clean, staff is extremely friendly and knows their stuff. This will be the only pet store we go to from now on.

Went here specifically for 2 female guinea pigs. I was told that they were both female but turned out that they were both male.
