I have booked through online appointment services twice. After I booked the first time and drove to the store with my confirmed appointment and email, they told me it was not in their system and I had to rebook. I tried again a second time and called in to confirm appt and it was confirmed. I get there and they tell me that trimming of the feet and sanitary was not included bc I booked a bath. It clearly stated these services were included. Talked to Jim and the issue was the groomer called out so they could only give a bath. He said he would give for free bc it was their error but put someone else on the phone who tried to give me a ridiculous price and did not take any responsibility in causing an inconvenience for my dog and I. I have only taken Bentley to the petsmart groomers in Knightdale and Garner, NC and they have always provided me with exceptional service. Will consider the drive there from here just for the consideration the staff has for the pets and their parents. I would give this groomers ZERO stars but I needed to give one to make my complaint

Pro: Staff was great. Banfield (technically separate but still in the same store) was great as well. Awesome Vet. Staff and store employees were kind and loving to my new puppy and helpful in picking out items for her that she might like. Con: I watched a staff member (male) in the grooming area with a Tiny Toy Maltese breed being extremely rough with the small dog while trying to clip his/her hair. The dog was frustrated and nipping or pulling away from the groomer who kept picking the dog up and pushing it down hard on the table - not noticing the leash was like a choke chain on the scared dog. No wonder it was freaking out! Not sure where the owner was during all this but I found it a bit disturbing. Dont think I wanna take my dog here. Also, the prices are rather ridiculously high for some dog items. Ive ordered TWO packs of Blue Buffalo dog treats and had them shipped as well for the same price Pet Smart charges for ONE pack. You have to wait for sales/clearance items.

I have a reptile it eats rats. Sorry, but thats what they eat. Store will not sell you one unless you lie to them and tell them its for a pet. I personally hate doing that, but you can and they will sell you one. Their frozen rats are poor quality, absolutely disgusting and expensive. Morally I have a problem feeding my snake a dead frozen rat out of a bag, but Petsmart will impose their morals on you if you own a snake. So forget how you feel about it. Would love to be able to go in the store, not be judged and feed my pet a rat that lived a good life until its last day. The least I can do for my snake is give it live food so it can feel somewhat like a natural feeding instead of slurping down a thawed out corpse. You kill the rat either way its just simply cheaper to raise them in bulk somewhere else and kill them rather than carry them in a store. I guess its ok for Petsmart to maximize profits on these animals and pass it off as good morals.

Horrible experience. My dog is a Westie. I asked for a Westie cut, as I have in the past, at this same location. The manager of grooming groomed my Westie but I dont think he has ever seen a Westie. He shaved my dogs face, shaved about 1/4 of her tail and shaved down way past her "skirt". I called to speak to him about it but after about 10 minutes on hold, gave up because the girl on the phone said " Im sorry. I dont think hes going to pick up the call. " The groomers that were once there, who did a great job, no longer work there. My advice is this: take a photo of what your dog looks like and what you want them to look like. Hopefully he can do more than shave dogs.

I am looking to get a new Beta and I went to this PetSmart for supplies. When I went to look at their Betas, they were all sick, quite thin, and had advanced fin-rot. I was not surprised whatsoever, as I have seen this before at other locations. My family bought a few Zebra Tetras about 2 years ago and they died 3 days later (Mind you, we are experienced fish owners). Another family member purchased one of these betas in hope of nursing it back to health, but it died shortly as well. I do not recommend this location for purchasing healthy, long-living fish. I have noticed the employees to be inexperienced in fish care.

Horrible experience... my husband and I were shopping for dog collars- about to make a purchase when an employee named Lisa comes over and said "this is not for walking your dog- only training. your dog hates it, see..." and she yanks on the dog collar around my dogs neck. We were planning on using the collar in a responsible manner for training purposes only. She was inapproriate and made us feel very uncomfortable. She was rude and pushed her agenda on us. We will no longer be supporting petsmart if this is the caliber of employee? Why would I come in here to get harassed when I can go online?

Ive took my dog in for grooming and veterinary here. The Veterinary Hospital take for ever and the doctor could barley understand what he is saying , no communication. The pet grooming I love but only with 1 person and his name is Ivan . He is the best with my dog and has the best attitude out of the whole crew there. Ive tried it with other people and theyve token for ever to sigh me in and have horrible attitudes. I recommend Ivan 100% for grooming

I purchased two guinea pigs with the understanding that they were both females. Well , they where not and I ended up with a pregnant pig. When I spoke to the manager and tried to get them to own up to their mistake they would not. I had to give up both my pigs to the animal Humane Society because I cant afford to have multiple pets in cages. I am very upset and will never shop there again.

I called to check on grooming that just including toenail trim. They said that was a walk in and it would take ten minutes. I thought great!!! Well, after rushing home to get the dog, I arrive at 7:15 pm and they are closed. Door says 9!!! So their inability to schedule hinders me from getting what I need done. Be another business owner I know what customer service is and this isnt it.

PetSmart has groomed my dog twice, both times a very positive experience. I was impressed that it took so long (3 hours). They "rest" the dogs between activities (wash, brush, clip) so that they dont get too fearful or stressed. The groomers seem to really enjoy their jobs and love the dogs. Be sure to discuss exactly what you want, especially if your dog is a mixed breed like mine.

I asked for help from one of the associates name Lisa. I asked her about information on a dewormer for my puppy she replied to me by saying "Read the directions on the back of the box" she was no help at all with rude sarcasm this is not the first time Ive been and she has been very sarcastic. Everyone else seems to be quite pleasant except for her.
