I had a lease on a 2013 Mazda CX 9 Touring AWD that was soon expiring, so it was time to take part in one of the things I dread most in life--the new car buying experience. I contacted probably about 12-15 Toyota, Honda, and Mazda dealerships and only one played no games, gave 100% straight talk, and didnt make me feel as if Id need to take a shower after dealing with their sleaze...Crestmont. I originally contacted the internet departments of all the dealerships, and said Id only be willing to negotiate via email at first. Rob Bojarun of Crestmont was one of the few who wrote me back with a clear and concise quote that had everything spelled out. Rob and I went back and forth several times until we settled upon a mutually agreeable price, and I made an appointment to come into Crestmont to sign the papers and hopefully drive off with a 2016 Toyota Highlander XLE AWD 3 year lease. The day I was free to come into Crestmont, Rob was unavailable to meet, so (based on quite a number of positive reviews people had already written online about him) I specifically asked to see salesperson Dan Cifelli instead-- boy, were those positive reviews spot on. Dan was the consummate professional, spending an extended amount of time with me answering each and every one of my questions. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and went the extra mile to ensure that I was a satisfied customer. Being the cynic I am, I kept waiting for the bait and switch, or the catch that came with the excellent price I had pre-negotiated with Rob-- Im happy to report that it never came. Dan and his general manager honored everything Rob and I had previously discussed, and Im now the proud owner (at least for the next 36 months) of a 2016 Toyota Highlander XLE w/AWD. I couldnt be any happier...thank you Dan, Rob, and Crestmont Toyota. Youve definitely earned a repeat customer for the future!

I first reached out to Rob in January 2014 and I bought the 4Runner in July, 6 months later. When I first reached out to him, I was looking for a certfied 2012-2013 4Runner with third row seats. While Crestmont did not have one, Rob gave me lots of advice as I looked at cars at other dealerships. He also was the only one to give me a ball-park estimate for my trade in without actually seeing it. He developed a relationship with me even when he didnt have a car that suited my needs. When I finally decided to buy a new 4Runner instead of certified preowned, I contacted Rob and he located 3 in the area that had the options I was interested in. He was quick to answer my emails (and I sent him dozens of emails), never sounded frustrated with my un-ending questions, always gave me competitive prices, and most importantly, honored the ball-park trade in offer after they actually saw my trade. In the end, I got the car I wanted, at the price I wanted. When I made it in to see the car in person, Rob & Jorge Santigo never once put pressure on me, and I appreciated that. The visit was all about showing me the car. Jorge knew all the details. I would highly recommend Rob Bojarun, Jorge Santiago and Crestmont Toyota. My wife & I have owned 8 Toyotas, and this was by far the most pleasant of all our purchase experiences.

4/1/2017 I was very dissatisfied. I paid for brand new tires and the one they put on looked old. The letters on it were faded. The tires looked faded. It did not look black . I have checked in the internet and I saw really nice Good Year tires that looked brand new. Red stains showed on the tires that they put on. I called and the lady told me to bring. The guy saw the tires and he said it did not look good ,then the other guy said they were fine. I did not want to argue with him. I had other services done to the car which it states in their propaganda that they also wash the car. They never did it on mine. The alignment that they did the car veers a little to the sides. I almost spend $1000.00 and was not satisfied. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. I will never, never go back to Crestmont Toyota in Pompton Plains. I will continue to go to my other place to get service on my car even though is far but is better.

Wife and I leased 2 cars through Crestmont. Returned the second car and they took it no questions asked. Received a letter afterwards with a $350 "disposition fee." Spoke with Crestmont and they couldnt simply answer why the fee was never verbalized to us when we signed both leases. Then spoke to Toyota financial and the woman stated she receives call "all the time" about this issue. Customers arent told this at all by the DEALER when they sign the lease - even though it is Toyota Financial that sends you the end of lease charge. They definitely should have. Very sly business practice to slip that in the contract and say nothing to their customers. For this fee, they lost my wife and I as customers for good. Bye Toyota.

I am so astounded by the incredible and efficient service I received recently. These guys are all so honest and helpful. I drove all the way from Hoboken, NJ because I heard such rave reviews about their service. I brought my 2012 Camry (with only $26k miles), in because the A/C compressor wasnt working. Well, guess what? They took a look, replaced the compressor and then only billed for the labor. They said they would have Toyota pay for the part, since it shouldnt have stopped working after only $26k miles of driving. The difference between Crestmont and Hudson Toyota is astounding. If you want incredible, reliable service, just go here. Drive out of your way if you have to. Its worth it!!!!

Ive now gotten two cars here. The second part was more a consequence of the first, I leased a rav4 which was way over miles and since it was a lease the only negotiating option I would have is with this dealer. Although I dont hate it and the sales team isnt any worse than most car salesmen, the finance or billing people here are quite annoying. They are not at all customer friendly, probably because they feel like they dont need to be. In my experience, they made a typographical error and when communicating that to me were not clear about the error that they had made and made subtle threats to get me in to resign a contract to fix it. IF you can go to a different dealer, Id probably recommend it.

I purchased a brand new Tacoma from a salesman named James. First off let me say that I have worked, and still do work in the service dept. of a high end dealer in the auto industry for about 14 years now, so I know the business inside and out. With that being said I was still blown away by the experience. James kept me in the loop every step of the way. I was able to get almost the whole deal done with a phone call and over the internet. When I walked in everything was ready to go. I tossed James the keys to my old vehicle and he took me to the finance dept. to sign a few papers. As soon as I was done he handed me the keys and I was ready to roll! Highly recommend the whole team!
