This is one rare car dealership that doesnt intimidate you or give you the feeling that you will be taken for a ride. This is truly a dealership that is focused on providing a great customer experience rather than just sales and profit. I came across the Internet listing in the Amaral website for a car that I was looking for and posted a question on the Internet and I was contacted by Neil Amaral within a matter of minutes to answer all my questions and set up an appointment. When I showed up for the appointment, I was shown the car promptly. The car was parked inside a garage and the anticipation of the garage shutter raising slowly like a curtain was pretty amusing and fun! Now, the car was in outstanding condition, I cannot emphasize enough on this. The detailing was top-notch, it was so good that it was hard to notice any wear and tear both inside and outside. I have rarely seen such brilliant detailing on pre-owned cars. I was immediately impressed with the car. It wasnt hard to agree on a fair price and the entire negotiation process took only a few minutes. Compare this to other big dealerships where you have to go through hours of grueling negotiation with the sales person, then his manager, then his boss just to eventually get disappointed. The only glitch if at all was with the finance approval. But that is NOT a fault on Amarals side. It was majorly due to my residential status and duration remaining on my visa, despite my good credit score. But Manny did his best to get it all sorted out and I wasnt too unhappy in the end. Overall, the entire experience was easy, fast, simple with hardly any hassles, making it a truly awesome and pleasurable car buying experience! I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market looking to buy a car, new or pre-owned.

I randomly stopped in to look around yesterday. I saw 2 cars that were interesting, but I wasnt in love. I gave Neil my reactions and he knew exactly which car I should look at. He handed me the keys to a 2010 Acura TSX. After a quick drive and a few minutes playing with the tech package, navigation, backup camera and enjoying the pristine interior, I knew this was the car for me. I went home to consider some numbers and clean out my car. When I went back today, Neil had already had the Acura detailed for me (although I cant imagine how he made it cleaner and nicer than it was). We spoke about warranties, satellite radio and gap insurance. He persuaded me to get what I needed and skip what I didnt need. I really felt he wanted me to be set up for success and wasnt just trying to squeeze every penny from me. Along the way I met his brother, father and service manager. I wasnt even there for service, but Neil takes time to introduce you to everyone. They all make you feel welcome and well cared for. I got a great price on my trade and better price on the Acura. I upgraded my ride significantly and somehow Im spending less money all around. After the deal was closed, we went to the car that was parked right out front on display and waiting for me. Neil quickly looked it over with me once more and gave me a quick run down of all the features inside and answered some questions I had. Ive always been slightly concerned about independent dealers, but the entire experience at Amaral has changed my outlook. As long as I buy used, itll be from Amaral and Ill do anything I can to make sure my local friends do the same.

Treated well by Amaral Family I just bought my second car from Amaral Auto after 3 years. I started my search on Amarals website and phone app site and went through their inventory and detailed spec sheets. I basically drive for a living as a NJ real-estate broker so, when the time came last week to get a new car, I couldnt waste any downtime and their informative site made it a breeze to go through their inventory. I traveled the 65 miles from my home to Lyndhurst because they have a wide variety of cars from me to choose from and always have the right LUXARY cars in my price range with all of the bells and whistles. The family is real nice and very helpful and accommodating. You feel like your being treated right by a family who is passionate about what they do and have a ton of pride in getting you the car that makes sense for your lifestyle. NO high pressure sales often associated with car guys just the real deal from these guys. After test driving 5-6 cars I settled on a sweet loaded Volkswagon CC. The price was below blue book!! I love the car for me and my business especially because they followed up to see how things were after a week of driving it to make sure I didnt have any buyers remorse. Couple items that had me a little concerned but Amaral put me at ease by setting time next week to have a look at my concerns with the car and make repairs if necessary. Cant ask for more than that. I would recommend the Amaral family to anyone who is looking to get into a new car and get a "fair deal" with excellent family SERVICE.

Amarel Auto Sales are untrustworthy and will waste your time! Over email I had agreed with with Matt Vanderhoof on a price of a car and would come to the dealership that Saturday with cash.(3 days after price was agreed). On Friday the day before I was to go down there Matt informs me the car now needs "service" and not to come down. I replied to Matt that this is disappointing and let me know when the car is done being serviced so I can make arrangements to come down. Monday go by no word, I send an email to Matt on Tuesday asking for a few extra pictures and what service is even being done? By now I realize something is going on. No reply to that email so on Friday I email Matt telling him Im coming down Saturday is the vehicle ready? what is going on? Finally Matt replies they sold the vehicle while "he was not around". If Amaral had wanted a deposit I would of gave one. They could of just came clean about selling the car. Instead they wasted my time going to the bank getting the cash planning the trip down there twice! and 10 days I could of been looking for another car. Im glad I didnt get the car cause if the have this much of lack of respect for me and honor now imagine if something went wrong with that car!

I purchased a 2008 128i convertible from Neil Amaral in June 2012 and it was one of the best purchasing experiences ever. I actually enjoyed handing over all that money in one quick payment. The negotiations were taken care of over the phone and he met me where i needed to be to feel comfortable with a full cash sale. As soon as I arrived to the shop from Queens I was warmly greeted by him and his family...it is a family owned business. After some crossing of the Ts and dotting of the Is I drove off with my cute little car. The relationship with Amaral Auto did not stop there. The difference with this dealership is that they continue to be available to you going forward. I can call or email Neil with any small issue and he makes himself available. I recently had a problem with Rallye BMW and he was there to talk me through what they did to my car but went above and beyond by talking to the dealership directly for me. Unfortunately, my car has not been the same since coming back from Rallyes service dept but the help and guidance I continue to receive from Amaral Auto is priceless. I would gladly recommend Amaral Auto Sales to anyone looking to purchase a car from a truly honest and reputable family.
