ShopRite of English Creek is a horrible place to shop. If youre looking for a place to shop and are in Egg Harbor Township, I suggest you drive the distance to another town instead of choosing ShopRite of English Creek. The store is cluttered and confusing, the employees are rude and unhelpful, and the equipment used to check out is broken, yet they dont shut it down. I have never had a positive experience in this building, but todays trip is the final straw. After watching customer after customer struggle with the broken checkout aisle, you would they think they would shut it down...Nope. On the 5th time the machine froze up for me, the cashier had a helpful tip... "the belt is broken, we put up a sign" as if hanging a sign excused all customer service failures. How about a "aisle closed" sign? Save yourself some money, time, and stress and shop anywhere but here.

We have always shopped here and never had a bad experience. Until today when we had the most rude cashier. My husband and I were absolutely offended by the way she spoke to us and the customers in front of us. And also, one of our glass purchases was broken... no ones fault in particular... and she never offered to give us another bottle and never took it off. We called the manager when we got home since we had our 6 month old with us and needed to get her home and all we got was an apology and that we should have been given a free one. But never told us to bring in our receipt to get another product. We are going to be doing all of our shopping at Acme now... its a shame.

I was taken back when WE arrived here for the FIRST TIME and visited Customer Service requesting a directory card. I was informed they had none. According to her they have never had Directory Guides & that she has never had Directory Guides for the customers.Thzt was the only negative. The employee were very friendly and assisted us in directing us to find what We wanted or needed to purchase because Saturday was the final day we could get Them on Sale. In fact one item on sale was out of stock & a man filling shelves for Today took the time to look for thrpugj recent deliveries in the found them. It was a well cleaned and maintained facility.

Fan of the wide range of fruit selections you can get at this Shoprite compared to others. However, they arent priced the friendliest simply because they are exotic fruits. Most of them you can get for cheaper at local smaller groceries stores. Avoid coming here during rush hour because the lines are insane and the service is quite slow. But overall, food prices are reasonable compared to direct competing supermarkets like Acme and you can find nearly everything you need here.

Love, love, LOVE Shoprite. Love the organic selection. Love the fact that Shoprite is stepping up to the plate and producing their own brand of organics! LOVE that I can get my organic staples (eggs, dairy, fruits, veggies, and legumes) so close to home… Now if youd just start serving up organic grass fed beef and organic free range chicken, then I wont have to drive to WholeFoods at all!

All the groceries you need are here. Theyre all reasonably priced and you can find coupons online to make your purchases even cheaper. The staff here arent that great and people seemed like theyre stressing out compared to somers point where they actually smile. Its a minor complaint. Everything is convenient to find in this store. Plus its rather far to access.

The MOST unfriendly workers! More interested in talking to each other than with customer, who is standing right in front of them. Seem annoyed if they have to bag your groceries after checking them out. Some items priced wrong or not priced at all. No wonder they dont want to approve Walmarts Supercenter. They would lose most of their business.

Fist everyone was in a hurry. Not watching were the carts are going. Staff runs away if you try to ask a question. The layout of this store is odd. Most grocery stores put stuff that makes sense next to each other. Like milk, cheese and eggs. In a dary aisle. Nope eggs in one aisle, milk one one far end and cheese on the other far end of the aisle.

Not what it used to be... 10 years ago, this was a good place to go get your groceries, but not anymore. The store needs remodeling so bad, and the staff should be completely "renewed." Majority of the clientele fits the atmosphere so those your 5star reviews. Staff and customers are rude and have attitude. I avoid this place as much as possible.

Always packed... never enough cashiers on.. no hurry to a manager or an override... customer service is always very busy... even if you are buying 1 or 2 items... its gonna range you 20 minutes to get through the lines into check out :(

Great store! Good management and reasonable prices compared to Ocean county shoprites, the stores arent as jazzed up asthetically but at least the selection is better and all the savings are passed on to the consumer!

Waiting to play lottery and the lady didnt even say a word to me just kept having a conversation with someone that wasnt even buying anything then when she got done running her mouth it was to late to play the LOTTERY

Shop there all the time, all hours, never a problem. Its NOT dirty, and it sure feels safe to me. Nice checkers, well-stocked. Just wish they were open all nite. This area desperately needs a 24 hr supermarket.

Always good sales to be had. Deli is awesome, good amount of organic vegetables. If youre looking for good sales on back to school stuff or seasonal items, always check the front of the store!

I came here bc the other reviews claimed this was some sort of organic food paradise... Def not the case. There are hardly any natural or organic foods. Dont waste your time coming here.

The store is clean, well organized and well stocked. The employees are pleasant and helpful. The English Creek Shop Rite is much nicer than the one on route 30 in Pleasantville.
