Terrible service. They tell me 20-30 minutes to fill out a prescription without even looking at the particular situation, and then when they realize it takes longer they dont even bother to call you so I drive back over there and completely waste my time. In fact, they must have a policy to not EVER call customers for any reason- Prescription ready to be picked up, not done/waiting on approval- NEVER EVER a phone call. Then the last time I wait to be helped for 20 minutes with NO ONE else in line as the person up front answers the phone over and over again and just continues to ignore me, while the other 2 employees perform mundane tasks behind her, also ignoring me. I will never return.

This ShopRite on busy route 15 across from Costco is pretty tough to get into and out of, lots of traffic, congestion, waits at traffic lights, and impatient drivers. Plenty of parking but you might have to park a long way from the store. Then theres the annoying thing where you have to deposit a quarter to get a shopping cart. But its a big store with great selections and the liquor store attached. ShopRite has a great customer loyalty program so use that. A better option might be their home delivery service, or order ahead and pick up. Their shop at home website is great. But if the traffic and stress are an issue, maybe use another shoprite store nearby instead.

Reliable local grocery store. Well stocked, even sale items. Best prices in the area. Fresh produce and meats. Store brand products are just as good as the name brand, in most cases (pastas, canned goods). Registers can get backed up sometimes, especially on weekends, but store is generally quiet on weekday evenings. Worth the wait in line for the savings. Same goes for the parking lot. Parking is tough to find on Saturday and Sunday morning/afternoon. Definitely suggest shopping in the evenings to avoid the crowd and lines, although the shelves are always stocked. Location is very convenient to Rt. 80, Rockaway Mall and Costco.

Its got a great variety. Gluten free, international, specialty, etc. The produce is very fresh. The people are very nice and very helpful. The prices are reasonable and the sales are terrific! They also have different ways to save you money. Its open 24 hours, which is very convenient. They have a pharmacy, fresh baked goods, hot foods and sandwiches and salads, made to order as well as a nice selection of fresh, pre-made sandwiches. They even make their own mozzarella! There is also a liquor store within. Very convenient.

Overall a very good supermarket. Preferred over Dover SR. Produce is decent, and theres a pretty good selection of organic/responsibly produced options throughout the store, but I would like to see more organic beef, pork, and fresh chicken options at the butcher dept., along with more prime quality cuts. Liquor store extension has a fair selection of craft beers, although I think Parsippany might have them beat. Parsippany also destroys Whartons, and most other SRs, bakery dept. Shout out to Pasquale.

Heading to the Wharton Shoprite is the worst chore of the week. This Shoprite is always a mad house. Its small, dirty and old, too. It seems like there are never enough employees working here. The lines are always 10 customers deep even with every register open. Took a ticket at the deli counter, did my whole shopping and 30 minutes later, my number still wasnt called. Rockaway/Wharton definitely needs another grogery store to accomidate all the customers.

I live closer to the Rockaway Shoprite but have been shopping at the Wharton store for 5 years because the one in Rockaway was very disorganized, dirty and poorly managed. Unfortunately the manager from that store is now managing the Wharton Shoprite and has made it exactly like the one in Rockaway. Were thinking of travelling to Stop & Shop instead.

Only issue I have with this place is its always ridiculously overpopulated. Parking spaces are scarce to none (almost always), lines are long and in turn long waiting times. It gets difficult to go down some of the lanes depending on the day and time. I can only assume they need more employees.

It seems petty but I absolutely hate when stores require a quarter deposit for shopping carts! I left the store unable to get quite a few items on my list either because they dont carry the product or because it was out of stock. For a huge store, Im not crazy about the selection.

Best supermarket around, used in once or twice while we had the Pathmark in Jefferson but when that left we have been using the ShopRite full time and really like it. Fresh fruit and veggies, fresh meats, artisan breads, fresh fish a great place to shop

The Wharton Shoprite is a ok store. You need to pay to use a shopping cart here. This store is really crowded. I do not do my grocery shopping at any Shoprite store. My main grocery store is Stop & Shop but I like popping in here sometimes.

Nice grocery store that has a rather large produce section. Cons are the parking lot is always crowded and a little difficult to navigate and some of the aisles seem tight. Most shopping carts require a quarter to remove from stalls.

My husband is Jamaican and where we were living it was hard for him to find the seasonings he needed and when we moved up here, we were so delighted to see a nice selection of everything he needed to cook like he was back home!

I visit the store every time I travel to this area. It has everything I need. Great selection of food, wine, beer, liquor, gifts, flowers, almost any thing you could want in a grocery/liquor/convenience store.

Very crowded but shopping experience was fine. Found everything I wanted and got excellent help from a shoprite associate. No wait checking out. Great job for this store on a very busy July 4th weekend.

I loved it, this is my favorite Shop Rite store and I can always find anything that I want to. I wish all Shop Rites would have the same selection, specially the Chinese food that absolutely love it.

Best grocery store ever. Excellent fresh produce and a wide selection of varieties. Other grocery stores cannot compare to their Deli and prepaired foods. Great prices on quality fresh meats.

I prefer driving to ShopRite in Rockaway. Even though they are owned by the same person everything in Rockaway is fresher and neater. Also, bakery in Rockaway is sooo much better than this one.

Came here for a quick breakfast at the Dunkin Donuts. Quick service. I also checked out the craft beer selection which was pretty extensive. Fairly common options but lots to choose from.

Shoprite has low prices, and almost anything you need to buy is there. There are always good sales on necessary items that change every Sunday.Best supermarket in this area in my opinion.

Only Grocery Store that is close. For the number of people in this area there should be several grocery stores. But they do have a good selection and decent prices.
