This place is a joke, Do not waste your time! I called them about a part, they explained that they had the part in stock. I told them I would call them back... I call them back 20 minutes later and talk to a different person. He stats that they indeed do have that part. I told him I will be there in about 15minutes to pick it up. He tells me "great I will have them bring that up so it will be ready when you get here"... Well I get there, my number gets called, I go up stat my name and the part that is waiting for me. They tell me yup, go see the cashier and you can be on your way... The cashier informs me that he does not have my part, they are still taking it off so it will be a few minutes. I wait 15-20 minutes go back up to the cashier and he tells me "sorry dude, you have to get back in line"... OK so I do, I speak to a different gentleman, he looks it up, "yup I see he is still taking the part off but he is almost done, I think he just needed some different tools, It should be right out"... I again wait about 15-20 minutes and they call my name! I go up for them to tell me "SORRY MAN THE PART WASNT THERE..." THE PART WASNT THERE?!!? Thats it? The part wasnt there. I literally waited there for over an hour while "someone was working on getting me my part", when in fact they never had the part in the first place. Horrible customer service, Do not waste your time.

went to order a part from them and before I paid, I asked them to make sure that the part fit in my car. they said yes. I took it home and disassembled my car and compared the part. The turned out the part they sold me was not even close to fit in my car. I brought it back to them, they said they would order another part for me but it would cost $20 more and 3 days for the part to get there. I said yes and ordered it. After 3 days, I went there, they said they dont have it yet and it was not shipped, yet. They said again that it would be there the next day. I asked to see if I could get my refund since they didnt event ship the part. They said no however they could give me store credits. I decided to wait for the part. I drove home and they called and said that its going to take another days. This time they could refund my money back if i want to. So again, I drove all the way there to get the refund cause i dont want to deal with it anymore and i could easily order it online for way less than what they charged. That wasnt all, instead of refund me in cash, they decided to write me a check which i had to drive all the way to a bank and cashed it. As much as I would like to support a local business, I think I just gonna order things online from now on. Very disappointed and would not recommend Ace Auto Parts to anyone.

made an order 3 days ago and the lady says it will take 2 business days for it to get here. went back today which is 3 days later and they said its not here yet. the dude in there told me to come back in 30 minutes cause thats when they receive their orders. not sure if i want to go and waste my time, but i have no choice since i really need that part and its already been paid for. i hear them say "we dont have that part but we can order it" ALOT. im guessin they do that just so you cant return the item which is part of their rules saying that a special order cannot be returned. i bet they have it in the back just sitting there collecting dust. read some reviews and wanted to try my luck but i guess i should have listened to the reviews and went to jons auto instead. you can either try your luck(if you believe in luck at a place like this) or just go to a different place. -Edit- just went back 1hr later and the guy says its not here yet. After he looked at my receipt and told me it hasnt arrived yet he just shoved it back at me, I just grabbed it and left without saying a thing. Horrible customer service. I dont even think my parts shipped. These clowns shouldnt be allowed to work here. Send them back to the circus.

I tried to sell them a vehicle. Weve been doing buisness with them for 20 plus years,selling vehicles and buying parts. The seller didnt even want to talk with me very much, he offered me $50.00 for the vehicle, which i know a none running and driving vehicle isnt worth A alot right now,but walked away from our conversation,Saying scrap prices are down. which I know, I own a wrecker. It seems like they forget about all the used parts that are still worth saving and reselling, I scrapped the vehicle for $40.00 and I took the good parts off my self to resell on craigslist. Scrap goes up and down all the time, but people still need parts. Scrap was $200.00 a ton, (past few years)now $40.00 a ton. It hurts everybody in the industry. Ace needs to get back to the roots, back to selling parts not scrapping metal. The way Don Sr. Made it happen. Good luck Ace Auto !!!

WOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never had any worst service. My father purchased an used transmission . The transmission cost $1,600 plus tax. When we received the transmission we had to paid up on delivered. The transmission did not work. We called the store and was told to bring it over; and they will look it over that they knew the part was ok because it was certified and was ok, my father check it and found that one part was broken; we called aging and was told to bring the car over with the transmission installed and that they will check it; my father brought the car over and guess what? it was Friday and they told him that he had to leave the car until Monday and prepared to spent the hole day there waiting for the car to be fixed. My father can not afford to take a hole day off waiting for the transmission to be fix; he has to work.

I am writing this review for my dad who doesnt use the net as some old timers dont. He said today that he called Ace Auto Parts and was quoted over the phone $45 + $5 core charge for a starter for our jeep. He drove 30 miles to get there and then the price was jacked up to $55 Plus the $5 Core charge $2 Environmental fee so total price before tax was $62. So they were deceptive in their prices. Other issues he has had here He bought a rear end and it had a hole in the case. This place is just bad I dont know how they even rate a 2.8 star review on Google seeing as it says they have 55 reviews and over 23 of them are 1 stars. It seems like most of the 5 stars ratings with no text must be their employees. He has had other issues with them but this time he is done.
