i just move from edison to BH.i usually shop at stopandshop in edison.now,i shop at BH stopandshop about 3times already.first time shopping is great.but second time i shopped, i need some shrimps and want lobster.So i went to seafood department,nobody are there in seafood.i waiting about 5 mins and went to meat dept then ask for customer assistant in seafood. A guy in meat said seafood lady is in deli.So i asked in deli .the lady with a white coat in deli said to me" shell be come and help me.So i went back to seafood and wait for about 10 min; .then she came and ask me what i want. when i look at her face, i saw her eye pus on her eyes and her nasal mucous came out from her nose.So i told her about that and read her name.her name is Nan.I think she is chinese or korean lady. after i told her about that, she clean with her hand and didnt wash her hand then touch my order shrimps. I really mad about that. I have too many friend who are asian. they are clean.every stop and shop employees are clean and smart like upper class.but this lady is really dirty and seen like didnt care on her customers.So i didnt take my order and go back to my home. 3rd time shopping around August 2ndweek is my last time shopping at BH stop and shop. i bought fried chicken for my kids. So i went to deli and waiting for somebodys help. the asian lady came out . I saw her eye pus on her eyes again .I really disappointed.she said wait a minute for my chicken ready.So just stay stand by, then she dropped friend chickens on the floor and get it back from floor. when she sitting down at floor,i saw her butt even inside and her butt have too many sores. When i saw her butts sores, i decided that i will never ever go to shopping at BH stop and shop again if she work there. Because i dont want to get a sore from her. Everybody want fresh foods.but most of the people cant see how dirty the employee.if your customer buy from her and can get sores from her.Who know ? I not saying to other employees.because i usually shop at edison store,watchung,even basking ridge store are really nice people and best service. but now, i cant even eat my foods after i saw her butts sores.Im not a racial person. But this asian girl who name is Nan.She is really dirty and worst things is she has too many sores on her butt. So if she is working at BH store, i will never ever shop again.because i recognized that the stop and shop at BH have employee who is really dirty everytime i saw and i cant even eat from her.i hope that you will find a better solution about this ladys personal hygiene.if yours other customers like me are see how is her personal hygiene. i sure that they will never go to shopping back again at stop and shop. every customers ,every people want fresh foods from good people with good personal hygiene. thanks for a batter solution. now, i shopped at Kings. but i promise that i will go back BH stop and shop again if she is not there.

I have been living one block from this supermarket, but always using another one, because a lot of products have expired date, service is very poor. A few times I bought milk products with expired date. A few days ago for Mother’s Day I expect guests and founded that I do not have enough mayonnaise at home, I went to this store,because it was closer one and I bought Hellman’s brand, when I opened mayonnaise at home I was in shock, mayonnaise looked as not fresh, I looked expiration date and date was expired 3 days ago. I went to ShopRite and to buy another one. I will never go to this supermarket again.

I have an friend thats works at that store.. And I was told the store had put all there refridgerated items outside after they lost power this past october due to an bad snow storm.. Then they put all the items back on there shelves once they had power after 3 days.. Gotta be careful shopping there, because you might buy milk or meat that been outside for 2 or 3 days..

Extremely clean Stop & Shop, very pleasant staff, great dele, great organic section, great bakery, great butcher, overall just phenomenal Stop & Shop. Also has great lunch options, great soups, hot chicken meals, and the deli can make any sub you could imagine for a very reasonable price.

Ive purchased several times and found after going home that the items are either expired or expiring in several days. When going back to exchange the item, no one even acknowledges the issue. Definitely check expiration dates prior to purchasing.

Good quality products (produce, deli and butcher areas are all excellent), decent selection (some aisles better than others), lower prices than most local supermarkets and usually has some great in-store sales.

please whatever you do do not buy fish from Stop & Shop in Berkeley Heights they sell outdated fish and Mark it down and way past its shelf life trust me I was an employee there
