Two experience. First, I forget her name, but the system at the fast lanes shut down all of a sudden, of course with my luck. The front end lead (Im assuming) took everything to an open lane to ring me out. She was bombarded by questions the entire time, cashiers and customers that new her to price check, override, etc. She somehow managed to acknowledge everyone while maintaining focus on me first. She was really skilled in multitasking there. And yes, she did multitask! She got done with me, told me to have a good day then she moved to the next. Next one, during the snow storm rush, I only needed a few things, standing in line. I here a lady say I can help you here at the customer service area. I was caught off guard, and she was also so nice. I guess Im not used to seeing that service at a grocery store from my experience, but they were awesome! I wish I could leave a comment or something that would help them out. i.e raise, promotion, whatever. I worked at a grocery store before, and I know how it can be tough to stay that positive, and they deserve something extra for that.

The lines here are always slow. If you want to quickly pick up something and get out, lucky you, you will spend at least 15-20 min at the lines. This store could really use some peer assistance e.g. the Piscataway ShopRite, one of the best grocery stores that I have ever been. Here was just a typical incident that I had the other day with this location. I picked up some eggs and going through the checkout. Some African lady was at the checkout (line 13, lucky me) while showing drowsy or disinterests in serving the customer. Then here went my eggs. The lady used the automatic belt and let my eggs smashing into the bagging area. That really woke her up. Eggs smashed. When I asked her what to do, she asked me to go to the customer service without any apology. I hope I can get some apology from an elder manager at customer service. But she simply asked me to walk all the way back to their diary section to get the eggs myself, again no apology. Way to win back returning customers. Guess I will be away from here for quite a while.

Great place. Awesome selection and competitive prices. Love the discount cooler near the registers. Only complaint is that at busy times they need to open more registers and more strictly enforce who uses the 6 items-or-less lanes. If they added self checkout it would really save me a lot of time. I also wish they would do a better job keeping items in stock. For example, Ive tried to buy Rockstar energy drinks and diet Hot Pockets (not healthy i know, but a family member likes them) but was frustrated after both took weeks or more to restock. Putting in a request to have these items restocked at customer service does nothing.

Prices are not always the best if you can believe it. Some of the prepared food is not good. The Chinese food is bizarrely inedible. Sushi not authentic & expensive. The selection of packaged items is pretty good. Kinda boring shopping here sometimes I dont know why but their stock levels are very good. Their hours of operation are fantastic and most of the people who work there are alright and do their jobs well.

eh... customer service is ok at the registers but... i dont like how Ive seen some customers treated that dont speak fluent English... some patience would be good with some of the customer service reps... SPECIALLY if you work at the customer service desk... like really?!? how did some of them even get that job when they act like speaking a bit slower or explaining something twice is killing them?!

There are never enough registers open. This is a very busty location, yet they have remained understaffed for years. This can also be seen in the slight neglect of the merchandising and cleanliness. The front sidewalk are is often filed with things for sale, garage sale style and the entry foyer, once separate stores is used for storage, with little thought to appearance.

The prices are probably better at Shop Rite than elsewhere but if you need customer service, you can forget getting someone with a brain to assist you. I once tried talking to the manager about a product and he was highly unprofessional, and it was the main store manager who works during the day, not the weekend or night time staff.

This Shop Rite is open until Midnight. They have the best cold cuts and deli meats already sliced for your convenience. Their selection of store-prepared foods is exceptional....choose from pastas to stews to sandwiches... all ready to eat...heat and serve! Awesome! Great salad bar, too, including a selection of 6 to 8 soups.

Huge selection very very well setup whoever is calling the shots for arranging the floor knows what theyre doing. Talk about clean this place isnt like any other shoprite and ive been to many. Emerson has upper class cash flow and they dont even come close to this one. Cheers mate

Store is usually clean and the fried chicken is awesome but they never have enough out. The layout changes too often so sometimes it is hard to find things. They usually never have enough of sale meats so I end up with a rain check. Staff is usually very nice and helpful.

Never seen such a clean Shoprite. I always thought WOODBRIDGE Shoprite was amazing until I came to this place. Selection is amazing, place is Uber clean and everything is very fresh. Im a big Costco shopper but this Shoprite might just win me over.

I found that the staff was helpful and polite. Additionally the selection of all categories of food was quite large. Finally, the store has a very modern and clean look that makes you feel as if youre shopping in the future.

Recently remodeled, extensive selection of items. Seems things are not alway where they were, but Ill get used to it. I would like to see self check out: the stores that have it seem to have faster check out.

Parking always terrible. Selection is so many different items that they miss on the effort they are making. End of isles too crowded, over loaded so there us always a possibility of the products falling over.

They always have fresh head cheese and chicken feet available, so that pretty much makes them the best supermarket in the history of supermarkets. Shop there now: I command thee.

Double charged my credit card on shop rite at home. Claimed they refunded but we are still out almost $300 waiting for 15 days now. This has happened twice already. incompetent

4:48 pm. Bakery not staffed. Could not buy fruit cake in glass case. Front desk staff not trained to support bakery sales. Lost $18 sale...went to Wegmans. Sad!
