Rented a Rug Doctor to shampoo my carpet. As soon as I tried to shampoo my carpet the machine stopped working after 5 minutes. The next day I had a very early flight and was told I had to bring it back right away to get my money back. I explained to the manager, his name is Mario De la Llana on the phone what happened with he machine and how it did not work. He kept telling me to bring it back right now, I explained that I was on my way to the airport and could not do this. I explained that my girlfriends brother would be returning the machine later that night when he got back from work. He kept going back and forth with me in a hostile attitude but reluctantly agreed to refund me if the machines meter showed that it was not used and if the machine was brought back that day. My girlfriends brother brought the machine back but I never received my refund. One week later I get back from vacation and go visit the store to speak with management. Mario was actually there who very rudely and in a disgusting unprofessional manner kept telling me that I would not get a refund because when my girlfriends brother brought the machine back he said there was nothing wrong with it. I kept telling him I spoke with him and he did not say anyone asked if the machine worked or not. I kept trying to reason with Mario and explain that it is very unfair to charge me for something that did not work and asked why he did not run the meter like he said he would to see if I actually used the machine. He would not answer my question and kept saying that no matter what I said I would not get my money back and he would not give me a refund. I then told him I would call corporate, which he gave me the number to. I asked for a copy of my paper work for the machine and Mario literally slammed his fists down behind the desk and yelled in my face that he would not give me anything and would not help me with anything. I asked him if he wanted to fight me or something, I was not sure what was happening, he said no but he will not help me anymore. I explained to him it is truly sad for ShopRite to have someone like him representing them, it is not even about the $48 I spent on the machine anymore it is about the principle that if something did not work and you promise a refund to follow through. I guess he does not know he does not just represent himself but the entire ShopRite Corporation as well. I am in management myself and have dealt with many issues, never in my life would I even to think to deal with an issue the way he did. I will be calling corporate to explain the situation.

I hate going in this place and seldom visit. Huge, crowded, badly designed store with below-average merchandise. It takes forever to get out of here - expect an hour plus visit especially when slooooow seniors are present with coupons. The drug store items have their own "mini store" which means if you forget the band aids or aspirins or shampoo youve got to traverse the entire store to pick them up. Music is always playing VERY loudly - it is mandated by corporate and is controlled by satellite meaning the staff cannot alter the selection or volume. The seafood is not fresh and the off putting smell wafts through the area. Unbelievably greasy fried chicken sits beneath a heat lamp overcooking for hours. The produce is sub-par. No upscale, interesting or food-show type items to relieve the huge bare-basics inventory with a few organic eggs thrown in. The Chinese food is God-awful; the cold cuts are of poor quality. I could go aisle by aisle complaining but you get the picture. Drive fast, fast, fast to McCaffreys in West Windsor or Princeton or hit up Wegmans for solid meats, fish and produce. Sorry for the pleasant staff who is overworked and poorly managed. I loathe this place.

I order my groceries online through their website. They are always ready on time and the staff is friendly. They rarely out of anything i order. The parking lot is usually packed since this location serves a large area. However, the shop from home usually has open spots, making it easy to get in and out quickly. Sundays are not recommend. They are extremely busy and driving through the parking lot is slow and difficult to find parking.

This is my favorite ShopRite so far and I have lived in different cities in New Jersey and shopped at different ShopRite. This store always has deals, and many articles. They have a large variety of fresh produce, and a nice olive bar. This ShopRite is located in a nice area, shopping, so you dont have to just go there for grocery shopping. You can get your nails done, watch a movie, dine with friends, get frozen yogurt, and etc.

Seafood and vegetables were fresh with a nice selection and fairly priced. I was happy with the stores appearance. It is clean and organized. My only suggestion would be to work on the front of the house. The cashier, Leslie, was rude and seemed irritated by my presence . She really could work on her attitude. If she isnt happy with her job then she shouldnt do it.

The customers are what gives this Shoprite less stars...parking lot has people on the wrong side of roadway, parking across 2 spots and leaving carts all over lot, rather than returning to cart corral...once you make it inside, most of the people think theyre the only person shopping and are among rudest people Ive encountered. Store in average at best...

This one seems to be a larger ShopRite. Everything is manageable to find, I like the layout of their produce section, and there are some outlets in the back where food is cooked fresh. The most annoying part of the layout is the baby/vitamin/soap sections being in a corner of the store in its own room with confined aisles.

Everything is over priced. As of May 30 2015, a bag of McDonalds coffee at Shoprite costs $8.99. Same bag of coffee at Target is $6.99!! Last week I bought the club savers pork chops at Shoprite for $10 and change. This week they are $15 and up!! A pound of chop beef costs $6!!!! RIDICULOUS!!!!!!
