I purchased a computer from Best Buy in Brentwood Mo. in 13 and paid for "Geek Squad" coverage for 2 years. My device worked well until it caught a virus which is when I took it to the Best Buy in Ballwin Mo. I was notified 2 days after drop off that my device was ready for pick-up. When I showed up to pick up my device - my computer was returned to me with a broken keyboard. There was absolutely no explanation as to how my keyboard was broken and little care shown that it was in fact broken on their watch. The first "manager" - Shiela, that I spoke with informed me that they did in fact break it and would have to send it off to be repaired with a 3-4 week turn around. I let them know that in no way was that an acceptable option. "Manager #2" - Allan, then responded and told me they would have my keyboard and/or entire device replaced promptly and that he would contact me within the next 2 business days to follow up. A week later I was contacted by "Manager #3" - Carolyn, who left a message telling me that my replacement keyboard had arrived. When i returned Carolyns call she was not available - I then asked to have her contact me and that I would like the keyboard sent to my home. Multiple days passed where I did not hear back from Carolyn, Allan, or Shiela - when I called yet again to see what the status was of my replacement keybaord , I was informed that it had been mailed out to an address that is not mine. Manager #3 - Carolyn then apologized - offered a complete device replacement - and assured prompt follow-up...........3 more have passed. This is worst customer service that I have ever come across - as i find myself STILL WAITING for my replacement device. If no stars was a possible rating - I would choose no stars........

AVOID THIS BEST BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well....Bought my Fiance a graduation gift...A new Samsung Galaxy Note tablet... Went to this best buy to get a screen protector put on.. .The geek squad clerk was very friendly but the geek squad did not do the screen protection installation...? huh weird because your website says its a geek squad service. He told me lets take it too "so & so" she is the only one here good at it. Took about 45 minutes. I left and came back because there was about 1,000,000 bubbles and my girlfriend hated it. After waiting another 10 minutes in line, they told me they would put another screen protector on it. After about another 10 minutes the woman who originally put it on told me the computer said 2 are in stock in the store.. But they could not find them. After watching about 4 different employees go the screen protector isle and check i was told that they are out and they will have to order me one. I said bullshit walked back to the screen protectors looked behind the screen protectors next to the empty slot.. and low and behold there it was... I walked it up to the counter and she said "Where did you find that????" In the store i said....So then another guy "Mobile Manager" put the replacement screen protector on. Keep in mind i was told by the first geek squad dude that there was only one person in the store who could do it...The woman who originally did it...This time It took only 15 minutes. NO APOLOGY. NO REFUND . THE MOBILE MANAGER DID NOT EVEN SAY A WORD.... AVOID THIS BEST BUY.

There is one person in Best Buy that I would recommend you look for if you are buying a computer or tablet. His name is Chris and he is the team leader. He sold me a laptop and within a month the laptop broke. I sent the laptop into Geek Squad repair and they did not fix the problems at all. But when I brought him the laptop he was like let me make this right. He found a better laptop and made sure everything was taken care of. He is the only person I will use at Best Buy now. He deserves to a big promotion. Everyone else in the Best Buy had horrible customer skills and did not care about me and they said we can not do anything for you. Chris is the only one who tried to fix my problem and he made it right.

Well Geek Squad here took my computer for 6 weeks, never fixed it. Anytime I called the 1800 number, no one really knew what was going on with my laptop. I was told they will ship the computer back and refund my money. I confirmed that with the man who called to let me know my computer was back at the store. When I went to pick up the computer, geek squad refused to refund my money. Guess I was warned from the get go when the manager at this location totally trash talked their repair location while I was handing my computer over to themy initially. Dont ever let these scammers try to repair your computer! Youll be out 8 weeks total and $35 for nothing to happen. I know who I will never use again!

Worst experience of my life. Went to pick up an online order my mother made, and they wouldnt let me pick it up even with her id and card in hand. They told me it had top be her. So I called another location and they said they had no problem doing it just as long as she called ahead. Well Im at the store for the second time, shes on the phone with them, and after 3 store managers and 45 minutes of arguing, they decided to tell us about their corporate store being in charge of online orders and that we merely had to call a 1800 number to get out taken care of. Worst customer service experience of my life.

Great experience. Store has new management staff in the past couple of months I think since the last time I went there during Christmas. The employees bent over backwards to get me the product I wanted that was out of stock. A manager noticed that I had been there for a few minutes while the employee rushed to find what I needed, and she personally dropped what she was doing, while answering questions from multiple employees and running the entire store without missing a beat, to get everything I needed in one phone call. Amazing customer service! Thank you Best Buy!

Need more staff on weekends. In the past two weeks I have been here four times, and each time it has taken over 45-60 minutes to get an employee to help. I purchased a screen protector for my Apple Watch two weeks ago. The lady who is the "best" at installation said the bubbles would go away within 24 hours... They never did. Today I waited an hour after asking for help multiple times. I ended up walking out empty handed. I will take my business elsewhere. Disappointing because usually I do not have bad experiences with Best Buy.

Best Buy is Best Buy. If you are expecting someone to hold you hand while you pick out gadgets you are at the wrong store. The employees are friendly, but lack knowledge or typical technical support people have become custom to. (I blame Apple for treating all of their customers like children). People in the real world you have to do research on what you are buying on your own. If you cant figure out how to do something YouTube it. This store is great store with very nice staff there is no need for the poor reviews.
