Ive been going to this location for two years and have spent a ton of money on various supplies for projects around the house. Truthfully, theyve never been polite or helpful, but never flat out rude like they were last time. We came in with the intention to purchase 2,000 square feet of new hard wood or pergo flooring and maybe even have them install it for us. Thats about $12,000 of business for the store. I had a few questions, so we were introduced to "Steve," the so called "Flooring Expert," who was supposed to be this oracle of knowledge. What a jerk. He chose to make his first impression on us by making an offensive and sarcastic remark about our house. He made it very clear from the start that he was not interested in helping us at the moment as he was pre occupied. He asked me to keep talking while he did something else. I tried asking him a couple of questions, he didnt once make eye contact or try to help me with my questions, it seemed as though he didnt think we were serious about making a purchase and went out of his way to make us feel like idiots with every question we asked. Too bad, because we were excited for the new floors and had found a product there that we liked. Now youve lost our business. I will drive far out of my way to avoid doing business there.

Being a loyal HD customer, I had the type of experience on Sunday (11/17) that would have kept me from ever returning to HD in the future. Every point of contact I had, with the exception of one was awful. I spent the better part of Monday frustrated by my experience and the fact that Ive spent a lot of $$$ at HD in the past and recently. Brandt, a General manager saved the day and a customer with his exceptional listening and customer service skills. Not only did he remedy my situation, he also assured me that this type of experience is unacceptable in his store. Furthermore, he absorbed some of the responsibility by saying that a bad experience reflects on him as well. A sincere "Thank You" to Brandt for understanding the concept of exceptional customer service and that we as consumers have choices where we spend our $$$. Finally, Id like to see things fixed, especially after reading a previous experience/review that sounded alarmingly familiar to mine. Consumers, including me dont have an appetite for poor customer experiences.

Changed our schedule to accommodate Stewart, an associate sent to measure our patio door. He showed up 50 minutes late, no phone call or heads up letting us know he would be late. No care my husband took time off work to accommodate Stewarts schedule. When I called to speak to a manager, she was very defensive and incredibly rude. With all the options for doors from a variety of companies, we will never shop at Home Depot again. It seems Home Depot doesnt care about customer service and customer service is important to many people.

Im seriously sick of watching myself be video taped as I walk around. Its bad enough that I have to be at all, but obviously there are thieves so it works for that, but why on earth do they have to put little video boxes everywhere and you have to see yourself with the guy thats watching you. Its ridiculous, like youre on some reality tv show. On top of that, nobody ever knows what theyre talking about. The only chance youve got is if you run into a retired tradesmen thats just there to kill time and hopefully hes not grumpy.

Wow! Steve in Flooring is the absolute best in the business! He is the man to see when you need to get flooring for your home! Super knowledgeable, friendly, and so easy to work with. I rented a floor sander which didnt work correctly and it lacked the on-board tool to change sandpaper. When I returned it the manager was called and he told me that it was my responsibility because I chose to take the tool in that condition, which makes no sense because I could not have known it was not in working order when I rented it. He was right about one thing, I do have choices: I can rent tools elsewhere.

Rented their towable man/boom lift. Trailer lights did not work. Ran out of juice after 2 hours. Returned in 5 hours, charged for 24 hour rental. Time not prorated! $65.00 MORE competition for same sized lift; for the convenience! Informed by staff, Home Depot doesnt even own the unit. It belongs to a 3rd party so HD is not responsible for condition issues or hour policy! Will not repeat this mistake!

Work on your customer service. Also why are you selling products for $40 over MSRP? Tried ordering online what was out of stock in store... Someone in an overseas call center answered, couldnt be understood, and was painful to work with. Had to walk her through her own product system. After 5 minutes I hung up and within 10 minutes I bought it from a local shop for 30 less than MSRP. Lost my business.

Tool rental customer service its really bad, this person doesnt know how to use a computer, the tools had some missing parts, as a pro I used that tool several times before, he doesnt even know it comes with that, I expect more than that, I rather drive all my way to Richfield.

Cashier Matty (old hag) is very rude. People like her make me not want to shop at this store ever again! Can I ever get loading help as well?! Many times Ive seen loader walk right past me to grab a shopping cart as Im loading plywood or drywall..

Couldnt even look for what i need, whole place was decorated in balloons and with a sever latex allergy I had to leave immediately. Very inconsiderate of people with allergies never planning to shop here again.

The employees all seemed angry. None of them asked us if we needed help finding anything (we passed at least 8 employees standing around doing nothing) and not one even greeted us.

Helpful staff, and a good selection of inventory. Prices arent the best but a nice plus is that they cut wood for you if you have a smaller vehicle.
