Here at 10:30 am and just leaving without getting what I came here for. Waited 15 minutes for a body in paint to get paint mixed. Asked customer service across from paints if there was someone working in paints to mix my color I needed..they said "I dont know" and didnt offer to help. Not sure why there was a "Customer Service" sign over her head. Then as I waited longer a gentleman sitting on stool greeting at entrance came over with a cart and said "here...put your stuff in" as I had a few items in arms. I said thanks but I am okay....and then he said "no...here...put your stuff in" and pushed cart right in front of where I was standing at paint counter. Then I walked the paint aisles again looking for help, and finally saw a lady in orange down stain aisle with a customer. When there was a break in their conversation, I said "Maam do you know if there is someone in paints to mix a couple gallon?" And before I finished my question she quickly and firmly said, " I am the only one here and I am helping her and we cant find her paint so you will have to wait and I dont know when we will be done." I then simply replied that I am sorry I will have to buy paint somewhere else because I had been waiting at counter for 15 minutes and cant wait much longer." She turned away and kept looking for the lady. Meanwhile I went down aisle to head to checkouts and the same greeter that insisted I take his cart said, "I gave you that cart and then you put your stuff away now?" (I am guessing he didnt see that I had the stuff laying flat in the cart). I kindly said "no, the stuff I was holding is in there." And I looked at him waiting for him to smile like he was joking and he didnt. It was the weirdest thing. He never said anything else or smiled. Meanwhile- as I turned to keep going...the customer who wanted help from the paint lady walked past me without anything and out the door. So the $100 in Behr paint I had wanted left you now without a sale Home Depot. Been coming to this store for 15 years and dont know why every time I come back. Either get a condescending man in tools talking to me like I am stupid or no help at all. Going back to supporting my small owned hardware stores with pleasure. Ugh!

To Home DEPO Management, Im upset about my experience. I came in with my father in-law. We came in for a 12ft 2x4 and whoever the man that help us was super RUDE! I specifically told him to cut the 12ft 2x4. 3ft each. In total 4 pieces. He told me that he only do 6ft by 6ft. Your policy clearly states more than 5 cuts itll be an extra $1.00 per cut. However I let him do what HE wanted. Not what I want. The person also gave my father in-law an attitude when he had asked if the man could cut a wood my father had. Now Im sitting here, at my house, having to cut my TWO 6ft 2x4s in half because your employee didnt cut my 2x4 to the measurement I want. However OUR cashier was SUPER NICE. I told her about my issue in the back. She told me to fill out a survey. Well, survey didnt work. So here is my Receipt #. I dont know why he gave us an attitude maybe because he thought we were "Hmong," and didnt know nothing. Well, you sir, I am a manager at a Dealership and that was absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional to have treated us in such a way. Receipt Number 28040000413880 time 12:53 P.M. Date 02/26/2017 Janelle did a great job! However you need to look at your camera videos to see who that a**hole man was that gave us such bad service. It dont matter if your white, black, Asian. No customer should feel unwelcome from your attitude. You should be ashamed of yourself. Thank you, Steve

I like that people are talking about positive customer service interactions at this location. I have two reasons to give a less-than-stellar review: 1) store layout and presentation; and 2) hiring style. This Home Depot has less selection for gardening than Lowes so my partner and I go past this Home Depot to get there. This location is dusty and the restrooms are all the way in the back, which is far and inconvenient. The store lighting is dim. Product presentation is like a warehouse. Next, it seems like this location hires people who are on their way to Sturgis for the Harley-Davidson rally. There simply are no eager people working here. The employees seem gruff and do not go out of their way for customers. From what I have heard about the Home Depot executive leadership and how little customer-facing employees get paid, its a wonder that employees even acknowledge customers after they get flagged down.

Not always happy with the attitude in this Home Depot. They dont provide all the information then they are angry with you when you ask why they didnt give you all the info up front. For instance, went in to get carpet. Wanted to get it right away so picked a 72 hour carpet. What no one tells you is that first you make an appointment for measuring (this takes one day) then they come in and measure but they still cant give you the quote, that takes 24 hours even though they it all right there on the computer. So 24 hours later they give you the quote but the 72 hours is only Mon - Fri and only after you pay. This all would have been helpful information when I started the process not when I had already paid for it. I didnt meet any of those "helpful" people like you see on TV. There is a young guy who works in paint who is very helpful and friendly but my other experiences there werent good.

A friend and I were updating the look of my living room and went to "The Depot" to look for lamps, ceiling fixtures, and some pots to use for replanting my plants. We found table lamps, a piano lamp, dining room fixture, kitchen fixture, and the matching plant pots in one stop. We had a great time working with Travis and really enjoyed his humor, and of course his help. I was happily surprised to find all of that is one store. If only you carried decorating pillows! (Just kidding.) As a result, my living room is looking great and our 36 year old fixtures are gone. Thanks, Travis.

Absolutely love my Brooklyn Park Home Depot. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I have a rescue dog with anxiety so I bring him in often to get him socialized. They feed him lots of yummy treats so he loves his Home Depot trips. I absolutely LOVE the online and mobile ordering for free. Its so convenient to order it there instead of walking all around the store. The reviews online of products are also helpful for making purchasing decisions. Menards offers online order and pickup but they charge you. Lame. Thanks for being awesome!

This is the Home Depot nearest to my home so I come here semi-regularly. I have generally found the staff to be quite helpful and usually knowledgeable about their products. Today my boyfriend and I bought a grill. We did our research in advance so didnt need help with choosing a grill. We did need help loading it into the car and an extremely helpful associate also helped us remove the grill lid to allow us to fit it into our vehicle. Another good experience.
