Local and the best supplied for plumbing. Im a plumber and I use Menards frequently because their prices are less than the wholesale houses. Example; a toilet that would cost $150 at a wholesale house, might be $130 at Menards, but then the toilet seat is $5 cheaper, the bolts are 50 cents less, etc. Also they have it in stock. I used to shop Home Depot until Menards revamped their suppliers about 5 years ago. Now I go to Menards almost exclusively. Contractor program is better at Menards than Home Depot. Also, the Credit Card program is more responsive than HD. I had to cancel HDs contractor card years ago, because of technical problems with their billing they could not figure out. Menards Card Ive never had any problem with. Their reps make contact at least every couple months and they have appreciation days for the contractors. Thanks Menards.

Pretty unsatisfactory. I would have thought putting an order together for a sub-contractor to pick up was a routine procedure, but with all three folks I spoke with today I heard a lot of "Oh, thats not my department" and "I dont know". With building products, knowledge and experience are GOLD - it is sad that as consumers we allow people with little or no experience to be our guide. Would not recommend unless you are buying something that requires little or no instruction/advice, such as a can of soda or a bag of chips. Customer service is low, low, low.

This was the first store that I shopped at when I moved to Coon Rapids. I bought some area rugs for the house I was moving into and received excellent customer service. A staff member helped me to creatively fit these into my car safely and everyone was friendly. Will be a repeat customer.

Menards has a ton of stuff for every project, except mine. :( I just wanted a large bulletin board and they didnt have one. But otherwise, it is a good store. The staff was very helpful, despite not having what I needed. Everyone is always friendly and nice.

Most of the time you can find the stuff you need here at a very reasonable price however the primary problem is youre going to have to find it on your own because the staff that are assigned to their sections honestly dont know much about what theyre doing.

For quick supply runs its fine. But the 2 times ive tried to special order materials or return something I had to involve multiple employees because they didnt know what they were doing. The Blaine location does it in 5 minutes. This one takes 20 to 30.

bought a wooden screen door and it was a 1/2 in to tall. called and asked if they could cut it down and they said no. hmmm I should have went to home depot where they will and have cut stuff to work for me.
