To put this in perspective, I have been doing business with Menards for 20 years, on some level, or another. I have written off alot of stupid things throughout the years, but they finally took it too far! A few weeks ago I tried to return a interior oak hollow core door that was the wrong size. I had a millwork package deliverd to a Maple grove job and figured I would return this door and buy the proper size at the same time. The millwork manager came over and said it was damaged where the 3 factory staples had made a hairline crack in the joint between the particle board side and head jamb. If you know anything about wood, you know this could just occur. He oviously did not. I assured him it had nothing to do with me and that there was plenty of other unusable millwork that was sent out. He and the store manager said they would not take it back. The lady at the return desk was very nice and helpfull, asking him how he knew it didnt go out like that and apologizing. I am compleatly amazed at the stupidity of this whole ordeal! Going all the way to the top of Maple grove and Blaine stores. I left the store with the proper size door, my last one ever. I wonder what they did with the one I left.

I used to really like Menards. But theyve done a store makeover that is AWFUL. I cant find anything, the racks go to the ceiling and break the sight lines, and just looks cheap. Like Kmart cheap. I couldnt find a replacement for a coat rack I bought from them a year ago because they dont sell them any more, bit I DID find Hamburger Helper. Who the hell goes to Menards and buys Hamburger Helper?!? It just adds to the low rent and unfocused feel the place has now.

Several frustrations go into this rating but Ill highlight the most recent for detail. I purchased a few items in the morning for a sale price. Upon return later that day to buy more, the price changed. The manager would not honor the lower price with reciept in hand. I made a special trip the second time, which was a complete waste. Quality of materials is always poor, and tools are disposable. You get what you pay for, so Ill now go to HomeDepot or Lowes.

This is one of the smaller Menards. They seem to be rearranging all of the Menards stores. So, now, you cant find anything, anywhere. On top of that, they removed the product map/aisle information that was so helpful on the official Menards mobile app. Now, you have no idea where to even start looking. Hopefully, you can find a friendly, helpful employee, because thats the only way your finding anything, nowadays, anyways!

A big shout out to the wonderful associates at our Maple Grove Menards. Stopped in on Saturday to purchase all the material for a new roof. Did not know too much about where all the items I needed were so I shopped the whole store. Everyone that greeted my husband and I was top of the line professional and helpful. I like Menards over Home Depot. Menards have EVERYTHING. If I go to Home Depot, I end up at Menards because Home Depot doesnt carry depart. However, Home Depot has much better customer service than Menards. Every time I ask for a help at Menards I feel like the workers dont want to be there. Or they think Im an idiot because I should know everything that they know.

Typically much prefer Menards to other stores. This store has terrible staff. I was in this store for 45min for something that should have taken 10min. Staff will look at you and hope you dont ask for help. When you do ask for help they arent any, with answers like I dont know...

The staff IN the store was good. The staff in the lumber yard was unhelpful and totally rude and worthless. I realize it is self serve, but REALLY? To be so bothered by a question when you are right there....and the guy checking us in the yard and out was a slug!

Went to this store looking for plants. What a huge disappointment!! Not sure they have ever heard of a thing called water! A lot of the plants were dead and the other half were starving for water. Last time I go to this location

Always a neat place to visit for house hold or business needs. Its a one stop shop. They have a lot of products you would be arrived they have. I just recently took advantage of their 11% off savings. Great store great ataff!

My go to place for tools and other home needs. Some employees seem to avoid customers when help is needed as competing stores go out of their way to ask if you need help. Change this around and I would raise my star level.
