I bought marble tile from The Tile Shop. Two days after it was installed it started spotting up. Anything you put on the counter left a permanent ring. I spent $3400 on this counter top and it looks like it needs to be replaced. A salesman came out to my house and said it does look terrible. I have spoken with the store manger James and his solution for me was to buy more tile from him to replace it. Of course he offered to me at his employee price. Why should I pay for the counter again? I already paid for it once. This all could have been avoided if the salesman who sold this to us would have told us that this will spot if you use it as a counter top. He didnt and I dont know why. Maybe because he doesnt know the product or maybe because he just wanted the sale and didnt care. I have called the corporate office in Minnesota. They said they would have someone that is over this store contact me. I feel cheated, lied to and taken advantage of. They talk a lot and try to say it was a cleaner that did this. I have offered for James to come over and look at it but he wont. All this and I still have a counter top that looks dirty and gross all the time because the of water spots. I dont like to have people over to my house because I am embarrassed by the look of my counter top. I spent good money on that counter top and they treated me like I dont count. I dont want to business with them again but I feel they need to make this right for me. This has been going on for 7 months you would think that a company as big as this would take care of their customers better then this. I have a feeling they keep putting me off because they think eventually I will go away. I am sorry I am not going way. I dont have $3400 to throw away. I hope they can get this worked out.

Make sure you dont paint before you buy Travertine Stone. If you want a gray stone and pick one out at the store, it may show up brown and no where near the product that is displayed. Nobody at the store will tell you ahead of time that it may show up a totally different color. And when you ask them to make it right theyll blame you and say you should have laid out every stone to make sure its correct. If their installer is picking up the product at the store and installing it while youre not home, how is that supposed to be accomplished. The selection at the store is great but the service after youve paid is not... Thats as politically correct as I can be for this survey.

I was in the search for tile for my bathroom remodel. I started my search at the local lowes, home depot, and other tile sources. I did not find what i was looking for. I went into the tile shop and found endless selection. The salesperson gave free design ideas, I got everything i needed to do the job in stock instead of having to wait, and the product was at an affordable price. I suggest this place to anyone with tile needs.

So far, they have been great! Mike took all the time we needed with us to answer our questions & show us samples then left us on our own to make any decisions. Pricing was excellent, better than the 2 big box stores we visited and most of our tile was in stock. The little amount we ordered only took 1 day to arrive. I hope they are as great if we have excess to return. Right now: A+ !

We recently moved here and are updating two bathrooms. The Tile Shop has a huge selection. Almost too big to make up your mind!! We found them to be very helpful and friendly. They even connected us with an installer who was great to work with. Dont limit you choices at the chain home improvement stores, check out this place.

I went in twice.........walked in front of the desk and no one asked to help me.......went back to look at tile....still no one helped. Not like the place was jumping with business, but the 4 guys in front never asked if they could help me at all. WILL NEVER GO BACK.

A bunch of deceitful lieing people. Swore up and down that the tile we got was not made I China. All false. Then we had a bunch of tile broke on delivery. They would not stand behind it. They said we had to buy more. Not what I call a respectable business.

Prices are higher than the big box stores, but their selection is better. The staff always helps me find what I am looking for and gets me the best price they can. Love their return policy.
