On August 10th of 2016 my fiancé and I got a 2006 Lacrosse Buick at the Inver Grove Heights Car Hop. We test drove the car and it drove very smooth with no noise and had a V6 engine. Thats the reason we bought the car in the first place because it was the perfect fit for school and work. Three days later the door handle broke out of no where and we took it to get it looked at so that the car hop employee Rick could possibly tell us what the problem was that the door handle broke and he did. He said it was just a minor issue and that we can go to the mechanic that is sponsored buy Car Hop to get it fixed and it should take less than 30 minutes and we will be out on our way. We decided to go to the mechanic two days after we had talked to Rick for him to take a look at it and possibly fix it right there and then or come back the next and get it fixed after the part that was missing was ordered. When we got there the mechanic told us that the car had another problem. The coolant was pouring into something else and it would take him a day or two to get it fixed because he had to remove parts and replace it with a new part but it was nothing major he said. So we decided to go last week Thursday early in the morning to drop it off so that his crew can get started on it right away and we could possibly come and pick it up the next day which would be Friday the 26th of this month. On Friday we went to go pick it up and the car just felt completely different. We didnt think it was a problem at first but then driving it all the way home we noticed that the engine light came on when on the highway, the accelerator squeezed, the brakes sounds as though it was rusting away and needed replacing, the staring wheels was shaking while driving, and the car was very noisy. When we got home we popped open the front of the car to see what the problem was and it seems as though they had changed the whole engine. The mechanic never told us that the whole engine was going to be changed. When we had called the mechanic he tells us that Car Hop placed an order for a new engine and didnt think it was okay to consult with us first before going ahead with the process. We got this car because we was told that it was in a very good shape and the best on the lot at Car Hop. The engine was one of the very best and there was no problem. How come now and not even for three weeks, weve had not minor issues but major issues wrong with the car. If we had known that the Car Hop would had screwed us over we would had just took it to a local mechanic ourselves and pay whatever money down to get it fixed the right way without further problems. This work is just sloppy and unprofessional. Car Hop has a way with word but when it comes to their cars dont buy them.

Hello my name is Angel , my experience with Car Hop was exceptional . To tell you more about my experience , I have to tell you more about me . I am a single parent that because of health problems , decided to go in business for my self . My Son Dakota at teenage years was hanging around the wrong crowd . I gave him a lawn mower and to go get his own money , when he wanted things I could not give him . As for Kris , I have known him , prior to meeting him again at Inver Grove Heights , I dealt with and had very good customer service with him before . So as of last year when I finally went to Car Hop , our company had been walking to our jobs . We would sometimes walk up to 22 miles in one day . To get several jobs done , by the way we are a lawn service .Our company name is Angels & DKs Lawn & Snow Svc . Kris went above and beyond all people I know to help us . Last year I did not get excepted , but he told me why and told me to try again in a year . Almost to the date a year from each other , I got my truck . I need to mention this time Gloria helped as well . When they pulled up the truck to test drive we were not sure it was really happening . It was Oct .16th of this year , a seven day if you are in to numerology . Thanks to Car Hop , My Sons and my Company has grown , and my family no longer has to walk in the cold . the inver grove heights mn location was horrible!!!! I had an appointment and i wasnt even talked to for 25 mins after they had me sit down and fill out a form that only took me 3 mins to fill out. poor customer service, they were more concered with shoving food in their faces. as I was sitting there I felt this place was shady, like we were doing something illegal, just down right dirty. they had their kids running around and the office was filthy and smelled. it was as if I needed to take ten showers to get the filth off me. I highly do not recommend you put your trust with the incompetent people who were making another customer try and print out her own information that they themselves needed. this experience has mad me never want to go to any other carhop again.

Absolutely terrible! Youll end up with a car that you dont like for a monthly payment you arent comfortable with that breaks down every other week. The warranty is a joke too. $75 deductible for USED parts. Not rebuilt, not refurbished, just straight out of a junked car. Ive actually BEEN to the junkyard they get their parts from and have confirmed that the parts come straight off the junked car and put right into your car. Dont buy from these crooks! They charge 5 times what the car is worth also, so youre better off saving your down payment and what would have been a car payment and just buying a car you actually WANT private party.

Rick at CarHop is amazing! He is a great individiaul outside of an awsome car sales men. Very down to earth and relatable. He is extremly straight forward, doesnt try to suger coat anything and will do anything in his power to make sure you get the car you want. Rick got me into my dream vehicle, unfortunately I did have to return it due to certain circumstances, and he was very nice with the return procedure, even made sure to get me my things left behind. I went into Car Hop very leery of the whole situation, but came out a life time customer that will recommend all my family and friends.
