Let me tell you about an experience with RC Car Kings. And I hope to god the manager who screwed me over reads this and regrets it. And I know for a fact, he knows who he is. Im assuming most people who are reading this will know RC car lingo. And if you dont, Im sure youll see the injustice of my story. I went in there one day to buy a metal gear servo for my stadium truck. I told the guy I wanted a metal gear servo, and he goes to a shelf and sells me a servo for the tune of $45.00 bucks. No complaints. The reason I wanted this was because I was sick of shredding the white plastic gears inside the servos. So I went home installed it, and after about 15 minutes of running, no steering. I popped open the servo, and its full of plastic gears, ripped up, once again. Exactly what I didnt want. The guy at RC Car Kings sold me the wrong one. At this point, Im not mad, Im just disappointed over the mix up. The same day, I go back and talk to the guy, "Hey, I wanted a metal gear servo, this one is clearly plastic." He says "Oh yeah, I remember that, sorry about that. Do you want a new one?" I say "Yeah, thatd be great." He goes to a shelf and asks for $75 from ME for what I originally wanted. I said "Cool, Ill just return this and pay for the difference." He says "No, I cant do that." I say "Youve got to be kidding? You sold me a plastic servo and I asked for metal so it wouldnt break, I wreck it, because you sold me what I specifically didnt want? And you wont return or exchange it? I would be happy to pay the difference, but I wont just eat $45 dollars since you sold me the wrong one, thats not fair." He says "Well, we could upgrade the one I sold you, let me just check... oh wait we cant upgrade that one, youll have to buy a complete new one." I asked for the manager, and it turns out he was the manager. I know its only $45 dollars, but really? What the heck is that? Seriously, anyone who reads this, stay away, go anywhere but here. A place of business that conducts business that way, doesnt deserve to be in business. Go to Hub Hobby, Tower Hobby, whatever, just not here. I want this place to simply wish they would have just gave me the right one after I came back.

Not bad...i have a 1/5 scale HPI and finding parts locally is a problem. The help i get is hit or miss, but no different than any hobby store ive been to. They have had the parts i needed, but i usually get the, "do you have a part number?" question... (in case you dont know, hpi 5b & 5t parts are standard with only a couple of parts being different). Overall, not a bad place. I only wish they had more of the RPM replacement parts in stock

I have spent hundreds of dollars here on my stampede, Talked to Aaron their mechanic and he helped me build a insane hybrid slash. They do try to get you to buy the better "more expensive" parts but who wouldnt? no point in breaking something. I was also there when the guy got denied by not having any ID on him, his card said SEE ID on the back. the manager did the legal thing and asked and he did not show any proof.

Wow. Cant say enough about this place. Had everything I needed to fix a starter rc car I got for Christmas a few years ago. Parts online are backordered. Walked it and had a new motor for my mini recon in minutes. Then started looking around and found upgrade for my shocks. Got a new ecm too. Prices were right inline with online costs. Next car or truck will be from this store for sure. Thanks a million guys.

These 4 guys have more parts in stock than some websites... They know *everything* about RC cars and are happy to share with you and help you through any troubles youve got. Several times Ive called up Paul just to ask about tuning or suspension, etc. Theyre professional, consistent, and friendly. As far as Im concerned, there is only one RC shop in MN and this is it.

They are great guy there. I gave them my truck and they found all of the part I needed for my slash lcg 4x4 a friend sold me. I also bought my traxxas 2wd there. Work great and they gave me extra parts for FREE . I recommend going to get you parts and cars there. This is a great store to get traxxas parts. Most items are cheaper than internet. Shipping is outrageous

This store is GREAT!!...The walls and ceilings are covered in parts ...totally complete full service ...great staffers I know them personally cuz the store is just a few mins away from my house...was just there yesterday may 20th 2017 ...got a 2s extension for a project...THANKS RC CAR KINGS FOR BEING MY #1 CAR STORE...LEE

Stopped in as a newb with enough info to be dangerous to utilize servos in an unconventional method/prototyping. Young guy behind the counter showed true interest! He didnt have the parts I needed but got ahold of somebody who did. I got service thats impossible on the inter webs!

Awesome place alot of parts and kits and RTRs and great help from the employees if your looking for one off rc bodies this is the place to they have a ton of bodies all hanging from the ceiling love this place highly recommend it

Great place to get replacement parts for all your rc cars. Watch out for the kid who works there, hell try to sell you the largest pack they have for twice as much. Sometimes they are so busy it takes awhile to get help.

I originally had a negative post do to a bad experience but they really know there stuff and has to be the #1 RC place in minn. Wish it went better the first time but very helpful and every part ever
