WARNING, PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING DOING BUSINESS HERE! Inver Grove Toyota completely screwed me for their own personal and financial gain. From a family of Toyota drivers, I was a loyal Toyota customer who was financing my 2009 RAV4 I inquired on high mileage leasing. I imagined Id be one of the easiest customer ever, walked in already knowing what I wanted, just had to sign. After reiterating my needs for high mileage lease and where my payment needed to be to my sales rep and finance I left with my newly leased vehicle. 1.5 years into my 3 year lease I got an email letting me know that if I kept driving as I had been Id end up owing $1,800 at the end of my lease. Upon inquiry I was told that I had only 12K miles a year, vs what I asked for, was verbally promised and was told I was signing for, 15K miles a year. When I called the manager to see what they could do I was mailed my paper work and basically told "Well, you signed for it." NO accountability what-so-ever. At my next service, I went into Inver Grove Toyota and to further discuss, really just looking for a simple acknowledgement; they messed up. I was lied to and taken advantage of. It didn’t take long for me to realize it wasn’t going to happen. The manager even had the nerve to remind me that "as a woman" I was financed "by a woman" when I didnt even emphasize how or why I was taken advantage of. He was defensive, yet no responsibility taken. Shortly thereafter I was told that all transactions are recorded, but when I asked to review the tape of my lease signing I was responded to with a stunned look and a stutter "W w we dont have those! I dont even know where thats kept?!" and an attempt to change the subject. After further debate and being encourage to “just wait” I firmly stated that my concern wasn’t money, it was doing business with people and companies that believe in respect, loyalty and most importantly honesty. After practically having to demand to know my pay off amount and mentioning my appointment with another dealership I was "promised" a newer vehicle and lower payment. Interesting that he insisted I’d wait to “save money” when really I could have had a newer vehicle and lover payment, right?! The nerve!! I "promised" to consider and return, left and drove to another dealership. Never again will I do business with a company that takes advantage of people, let alone has no penalty for dishonestly, no accountability and no effort what-so-ever to research or acknowledge the situation. So instead of having a loyal and Toyota referring customer for life, I say screw you, Toyota - just like you screwed me!

I wanted to take the time to write and share what a great experience we had at Inver Grove Toyota. We walked into the dealership not intending on purchasing that day. We had done a lot of research, but we wanted to compare the Rav4 with its Hyundai and Honda counterparts first. Furthermore when we confirmed that the Rav4 was the car for us our plan was drive to one of the other dealerships in the cities, as they had the price listed for a couple thousand dollars less. Yet we ended up purchasing a new car because we were so impressed with the service we received. We were greeted upon arrival by the salesman who helped us, Patrick McDaniels. He acknowledged our presence right away but in no way made us feel pounced upon, which I greatly appreciated as we had two young children to unload. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. He made us feel like valued customers even though we were only planning on purchasing a base model, and not the more expensive vehicles with all the bells and whistles. The entire time we were there we never felt pressured to purchase or upgrade our purchase. He even went out of his way to make the dreaded negotiation process as painless as possible. We got a fair price for our trade in and new car right off the bat, without having to play mind games to get there. In fact, in my 18 years of buying cars, Patrick is the first car salesman I have ever encountered that hasn’t been even slightly like the swarmy salesman stereotype. He was always genuine, honest and friendly. To make our experience even better, the entire process was incredibly efficient, were in and out in 2 hours, on a busy Saturday. Since we foolishly took our 4 year old and 3 month old with us words cannot describe how much we appreciated that. I spent several years working for Tiffany and Company, and in that experience I learned that sales is an art form, and those that are truly good at it prioritize the customer experience over the total sale. Inver Grove Toyota gets that in a way few retailers do. For all of these reasons we decided to purchase then and there, and because of our good experience we will not only return for our next car purchase but also refer them to everyone we know currently in the market for a new car. Thank you so much for making car buying an enjoyable experience for us.

Recently completed a purchase of a new vehicle from Inver Grove Toyota. Cant say enough good things about the staff at IGT (and Im usually pretty critical). Im not new to buying new cars and generally put a lot of effort into the research that leads up to a purchase or potential purchase. My brother recently purchased a Highlander from IGT and put a call into to Jim Hayes in sales at IGT. Jim listed what I was looking for, came through right from the start and offered exactly what I had asked him for which was a no nonsense, straight to the point deal on the 4Runner (color, package, year, etc) that I was looking to buy. Ive purchased new cars from fancy places like Lexus, Acura, etc and can say that Jim and the staff at IGT blows them away by a good margin. Jim made the transaction incredibly painless / easy and stuck to his word on verbal agreements discussed on the phone. Not to mention I traded in a vehicle and they stepped up to the plate and met me on that half of the deal as well with a very fair offer. Based on the above, I would certainly highly recommend IGT to anybody who is in the market for a Toyota. Equally as impressive, when picking up the vehicle, I called Jim in advance and told him that I was running short on time and could pick the vehicle up that day, but needed to be in and out in about a 30 minute window. When I arrived, everything and I mean everything was all prepped and ready to go. This is nearly unheard of when purchasing a car in my experience. And to top it off, the service department is run as tight and as well organized as the sales team / department. Ive stopped a few times to pick up plates, etc - routine things with the service department (added a few accessories, etc).and have received nothing less that incredibly good service. Met one of the mechanics - top notch. This dealership really seems to have their act together - Id rate them above most if not all Honda, Toyota, Acura, Lexus dealerships Ive been to / worked with. Trustworthy group. Good job guys, keep up the good work and really appreciate your customer focused team of professionals! Wont hesitate to recommend IGT to anybody looking to buy a car / truck.
