Im pretty new to cycling and had an excellent experience at Trailhead! Obviously I can ride a bicycle but Ive never bought anything other than off-the-rack bikes at sporting goods stores. I was feeling very discouraged before arriving at Trailhead. When I arrived they were surprisingly busy for a Wednesday night before a storm but I was greeted promptly. I was helped by Pam who stuck with me for the remainder of my visit. Pam took the time to understand what type of biking I was doing as well as the features and budget I had in mind. Clearly she knew her stuff because it didnt take long for her to bring me to what ended up being the perfect bicycle for me. A short test ride later and I was sold. While she suggested some accessories, nothing about the experience made me feel pressure to purchase. I did end up deciding to change the tires to a thinner option, add a bottle cage and seat bag w/ tire repair kit all of which the staff was able to install while I waited (less than 20 minutes). Pam even showed me how to remove and reinstall the front wheel so the whole thing could fit inside my sedan. Overall, the experience was awesome and I will definitely be returning.

My fiancé and I arrived at Trailhead after visiting bike shops all over the metro only to be floored by how amazing the service was. Larry greeted us right away and helped me find the right bike. He put on extended handlebars and even tried different seats for me after I explained what didnt feel right. He literally took the time to fit me for a bike when we couldnt figure out why the frames just didnt feel right. He helped us understand how the bike should be set up - so we could adjusts the other bike at home if we didnt want to bring it in. Larry even gave me a helmet to use while trying the bike on the paved trail immediately behind the store. I finally have a bike that fits right AND at a price we couldnt believe! I forgot to mention the two year free maintenance ... And the huge selection of bikes. They had all prices ranges, most other stores only carried one or two bikes below $500. Wed recommend this store to anyone! Our next purchases for anything related to biking will be from here!!

This is my favorite shop in the cities. Im a road bike enthusiast and have at least stepped foot in most bike shops in the cities. This is my favorite shop because the people are willing to spend the time it takes to make sure you get what you are looking for. I buddy of mine recently bought a bike here and we probably spent two hours looking at bikes and test riding them (I got to test bikes even though I was just along for the ride). The person helping us was one of the owners and she was great. She worked with our budget and helped find the best option. Thats a stark contrast to the shop where I bought my last bike (before I discover Trailhead). I wish I would have know. Great service, great selection, good deals. Check it out.

I have visited this shop several times. Ive always been happy with the service and help they have provided. Recently my derailleur was not shifting properly so I brought my bike in for what I was hoping was a minor adjustment. Steve fixed the problem as I waited and let me know I have a few other issues that should be taken care of. I was happy they were able to take care of the problem while I was there and I will be happy to bring my bike in soon to have the other work done. My bike is shifting perfectly now; thanks Steve! Im hoping to purchase a new bike soon and I will be buying it through Trailhead.

After looking all around the twin cities at different bikes we finally decided to make our way back to trailhead where we had bought our sons bike just a week prior. Everybody in the shop were extra courteous and always asked us if we were being helped. They truly made us feel like family and not just customers! I ended up purchasing a Felt that I am very happy with and plan to send all my future business their way!!

Best shop in MN! Arrived late but they took their time with me. They are so excited about their bikes that even time is no reason to stop helping you. Very helpful in getting everything set up perfectly with my new Giant. I absolutely love it and it is perfect. Very reaonable repairs on any bike as well. Go here and no where else for the best all around experience ever!

Whether youre looking to make your first big investment in a nicer bike or looking to add to your existing collection, Trailhead Cycling and Fitness is the way to go. The Trailhead staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and will work with you to meet your needs and budget. Its very much a no-pressure, relaxed atmosphere. You can even take bikes out for a test drive!

I have done a lot of business at Trailhead and was always happy. Now, I have moved to the Southwest Metro and it isnt as easy to get to Trailhead every time I need something for my bike, or service. Unfortunately, I have tried several different bike shops and cannot find one I like near as much as Trailhead. I will be making a drive for continued service I need.

Family owned bike shop. Very professional and personable. I visited numerous chain and independent shops prior to selecting Trailhead. Purchased a Giant Defy carbon frame with selected add-ons and high end rims/tires. Personally fitted to the bike. Excellent follow up service. I would recommend this shop to; families, racers and everyone in-between.

If zero or below was an option Id rate negative. Not friendly. Money hungry. Dont care about people. Go there for any type of service and they make you get the entire bike rebuilt, if it wasnt bought at their shop. Seems ridiculous to me!

The prices are just the other bike shops in town, but you get a 3 years bike tune-up service with the purchase. I got a great deal on the bike because the model was last year model and the only update on the bike was a new color

Great staff at Trailhead! I always go there and feel like Im cared for. The staff love to talk bikes, whether you are buying or not and offer helpful insight. I also love that they dont gouge you for swapping components!
