So horrid... I would never recommend anyone going to this store. I wanted to buy a aero bar for my bike since I had a 60 mile run the next day. After looking around online it seemed like this store had a wide range of options and all very decent price. So after work I packed up my bike and headed off to this shop. I live about 25 miles away and was concerned but thought they had enough options that I would be set. I arrived and rolled my bike in. The guy there greeted me almost right away but when I told him I was looking for a aero bar the questions started. He wanted to know why I would want one, how many miles I ride, and then told me they just get in the way. I explained that I was not comfortable on the bike when going on long rides and it would give me more options. He kept grabbing the aero bar out of my hands and putting it back on the shelf. Then he even stated that it might not fit, measured and stated it would not. He also stated that my bike was old. I was starting to get pissed. He also stated that the staff had no time to help me tonight as I had a loose spoke. Also that they would have no time to work on my bike and put an aero bar on. I really didnt expect instant service on my bike but I did expect someone that would be considerate. I really felt he could not be bothered. He was quite reluctant to even get a seat bag and a co2 pump. Looking back on it I shouldnt have even bought that there. Long story short I left there after that purchase mad and went to Hoigaards. At Hoigaards they were about to close but the guy said it was okay to wait and the staff would look at my loose spoke. Not only did they look at it they trued the wheel after hours for free. Then they remeasured the handle bars. Seems the areo bars would fit just fine and they matched a price. I was so happy with them will never go anywhere else. As far as the charge to true the wheel that was free. When I got home I put the aero bars on and couldnt be happier. I was also able to adjust some other things and now more comfortable than I thought I could be. Since then in two days I put 80 miles on my bike. Bottom line skip Valley Bike go elsewhere they dont want your business.

Cant say enough great things about my experience with Valley Bike and Ski. I was looking for a new mountain bike, did my homework and I found what I wanted; the 2015 Felt 7 Eighty/27. I found a local dealer to me (NOT Valley Bike and Ski) and after talking to them about buying it that day, I walked out without a bike...not happy with the service. I went in, chatted a bit, but when it came to the bike, I didnt get my questions answered and was told certain adjustments couldnt be made, but if I was set on them I could buy aftermarket junk to put on my brand new bike....no thanks. They wanted a sale. If Im going to invest that kind of money in a bike, I expect certain things. So I searched to find another dealer and found Valley Bike and Ski. I called Valley Bike and Ski that evening, asked if they had the bike I wanted in stock, which they did, and after speaking to the guy on the phone, told him Id be down in the morning...mind you Valley Bike and ski is an hour and a half away from my house, so its a gamble in my eyes! They started putting it together that evening as I said Id be down in the morning to pick it up. I got down there a little after opening. I was greeted by a very pleasant and UNBELIEVABLY knowledgeable young lady! We found my bike on the rack and I hung out while a bike specialist ran through that bike top to bottom. I wanted to swap out pedals and add a water bottle holder which was their pleasure. Once dialed in, They rolled it out to me and ensured its fit was right for me, made controls adjustments, seat, handle bars, etc. Talked about bedding the disc brakes and other more technical items I wouldnt have given much thought to. I left Valley Bike with a brand new mountain that I love, and also an education pertaining to it! Knowledge is power! I drove my car down as it was so far and they helped me get it loaded and ensured it wouldnt tear any seats and everything. Also made sure I was comfortable with the minor reassembly once I arrived home with it. Thanks so much Valley Bike and Ski. Even considering your distance from me, youll get my business every time. Couldnt be happier with the entire experience!

I didnt buy my Mountain Bike from Valley, but I did take it there for service. I took it in to get new tires, tubes, fix my front shifter, full adjustment on shifting etc. I dropped it off late on a Saturday afternoon expecting they would have it at least for a few days. To my surprise, I had no more than got home and started a project when my phone rang, it was Valley telling me that my bike was done! It was literally like an hour and a half since I had dropped it off. When I picked up the bike there were some odds and ends that I was interested in buying, the service guys were extremely helpful. They were just as eager to show me some tips and tricks so I didnt need to bring the bike in for certain things, much appreciated since I am pretty mechanically advanced to begin with. I just about fell over when the bill came and it was less than $100, especially considering that was new tubes, tires, shifter repair and what amounts to a full degrease and tune up!!! Extremely satisfied with the service, they have my business from now on without exception.

Been a customer for over 6 years purchased skis, bike that I have had plenty of service done as well as aftermarket parts installed at their shop. Called today b/c my bike was stolen and I am trying to get restitution, I called and asked if they could look up my account and email me the receipts. They looked up my account and said looks like we have all of the records, but we cannot email them to you because we are too busy you will have to email US and we will look into into next week. So customer service only applies if you are currently making a purchase, if not you can wait till next week.

My wife and I both bought skis, boots, bindings and poles from Kellie and Gary at Valley Bike and Ski. It was a great experience. We had to wait a few minutes for help and the sale the had going on had them busy. We we able to browse and were helped as soon as an employee freed up. Gary and Kelly helped both of us find equipment that fit our size, skill, and price point. They were extremely easy to deal with and very knowledgeable. We got a great deal on our equipment and had a great time purchasing it. I would recommend them to anyone looking for skis or bikes.
