This is pretty much the only bike shop in North Minneapolis. Luckily, its a good one. Its small, but has a dedicated staff who are friendly to talk to. They have reasonable prices, a pretty good array of accessories, and espresso!. They warrant their labor and are very good about staying on top of that. They are also evidently involved with the community, which is especially important given its the only bike shop in North Minneapolis. Its convenient for me when commuting to or from my home in north. Its just a few blocks from the 19 bus route on Olson Highway. I only wish it were open on Sundays.

This is just a great place to get your bike serviced (or even to buy one!). A local "chain" bike store in the cities quoted me some high dollar repairs, but when I took it to Venture North, a simple derailleur adjustment solved my problems. However, they DID find some other mechanical issues missed by the other store and fixed them for me, while still salvaging all the still useable components on my bike. I love their mission, their friendliness and their professionalism. Plus the cost was incredibly reasonable and my bike now works impeccably.

Happened across Venture North while searching Craigs List for bikes. Really happy I found them! Jody and his crew are great people, I knew very little about bikes and being a tall guy needed something that would be a comfortable ride to work. Jody helped me out, said he was going to build a couple options and call me back. Got the call a few days later, went there on a Saturday and bought my new bike! Just rode to work the first time this morning and it felt great. Love the fact that Venture North is a non-profit also.

This is a great little bike shop. Ive been there a few times for repairs and upgrades on my bike, and also for a coffee drink from their cafe. They are always fair and honest, and they do good work. The place isnt as big or fancy as some other shops in the metro, but the employees make up for that. Im happy to have a place like this in my neighborhood.

An honest bike shop that took good care of my needy bike. We also purchased a bike for my partner and its been great. And we had espresso while we waited. They have a mentoring program that works with the neighborhood kids. I just wish they were open on Sundays.

Generous folks who are willing to help anytime. They have very very fair prices, considering the bike culture and outlandish bourgeoise prices you pay at some Minneapolis bike shops. Plus they serve a great pour over from peace coffee. What is not to like.

This is my LBS and I will never go back, which is a shame since its only a few blocks away. 12 minutes until closing and the 4+ staff would not help me because they were "cleaning up" for closing time. This "non-profit" is definitely not run like a business.

A really special place. I happened into it because it was the closest shop when my tire bit it. Solid workmanship and a welcoming atmosphere. Has an authentic feel of people who care and seems connected into the community.

This place is simply terrific. I took my neighbors bike in for a tire repair. They were fast, friendly and really reasonably priced. AND the coffee is great. What a great addition to North!

Went in to get my bike tuned as I hadnt ridden it for over a year. They took a look at it, filled my tires with air and said I was good to go - that it didnt need a tune up. Saved me $65.
