I love this place. Always make a trip there when we visit Michigan in the summer. So, this spring, voila, Hobby Lobby in Ft. Lauderdale. YES! First of all, I like their merchandise; some normal stuff, but some not so typical. I like to just browse, and get ideas. OK, I have bought a few things, but only to enhance my home. NOT being a knick-knack person, it really has to fit my taste. I dont add, I replace. So, yes, I go there and poke around, have replaced a few old things with new, and feel their prices are fair. Service is good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Also, support the owner, David Green, and his stand on private business. And, I do like that they are closed on Sundays. Give the employees a day off. Thanks, HL!

I seem to always leave with more than I went in for. Easy to move around the store. Clean. Staff are friendly. I would give the store five stars if they updated their cash registers to digital. I would then be able to monitor the prices displayed on a screen as they were being scanned and would automatically calculate. (Vs relying on staff to hit a button).

Their custom framing team is remarkable. I have taken several special pieces there for consultation that resulted in my proceeding with framing due to the suggestions and expertise provided. They instill great confidence and provide great results.

Way to expensive! Stood around for twenty minutes waiting for assistance just to be told that department person wasnt in. Stood around another ten minutes for a manager that never came! Wont be going back! Very unprofessional!

Good stuff, but often things are over priced to allow them to have better sales. So if youre getting something on sale, its pretty good. If its not on sale, itll go on sale the week after you buy it for 50% off.
